Episode description

The small town of Shelby, North Carolina was rocked by the murder of eleven-year-old Brenda Sue Brown in 1966. Police had their suspects, the chief one being local teenager Robert Roseboro, but there was never enough to pin it on him. It wasn't until forty-one years later that they finally charged a suspect, but it wasn't Roseboro. Shelby resident Earl Parker cleared his conscience before his death. He told his granddaughter that he knew exactly what happened to Brenda Sue, and that police had it wrong all these years.
