Episode description

Towards the end of the 19th Century, a killer stalked the streets of London's east-end. Known only as Jack the Ripper, he killed at least five women before vanishing into thin air. Four years later, a second series of murders were seemingly linked to the Ripper. Could he have come back for a second reign of terror, or were the deaths the work of another disturbed mind? A deathbed confession made in 1892 claimed to have the answers, but for many the jury was still out. Who really was behind the infamous Ripper murders? And, would this confession finally give victims' families a name for their nemesis?
