Stargate SG-1 S5 Ep, 10 - "I'm going to do it with apathy."
While MK and Courtney are still not really living their best lives, at least we have Stargate (and its epic production value, lol) to keep us company.

While MK and Courtney are still not really living their best lives, at least we have Stargate (and its epic production value, lol) to keep us company.
In usual midseason fashion, MK thinks things end too happily. Luckily, we've still got enough pessimism to go around.
After an incredibly depressing week, MK decides to shake up her recording location, and Courtney is once again faced with the fact that Stargate will never be as consistent a story as we want it to be, but how can you be mad at it?
MK finds this episode of AHS to have the best story so far, but her least favorite visuals. What could that possibly mean?
For those of you watching along with us, this episode doesn't exist on Amazon. It's weird. Hopefully we gave a good enough recap that you didn't miss it.
There is only so much backstory you can give to make someone sympathetic, some people are just awful. MK and Courtney don't think they are those people, but who knows. Compared to this show, we're angels, honestly.
Happy 300th episode!!! Thank you to everyone who has been there with us for the last 300, and here's to the next 300!
Once upon a time, MK made some wild predictions about the way this show was going to go and unfortunately those predictions keep coming true. Which is honestly, just rude.
What happens when you mix Janet with a gun, characters that Courtney forgot existed, and two very exhausted and cranky podcast hosts who are just faking it until they can't anymore? A stellar episode of Death and Aliens!
Well, somehow the things MK predicted came to be, which is unfortunate. Courtney and MK are still living on the edge of surviving, but we'll make it!
I would make excuses for why this episode is so late, but I'm not going to. I didn't edit it on time, and Courtney and I are having a rough time right now. We're trying.
We have finally recovered all of our previously deleted episodes. Unfortunately, in the process, I think we have actually truly lost our minds. We're covered in glitter, snow and regret. But stay tuned to the end for all of MK's wild predictions about the season to come.
MK and Courtney talk apartment hunting, how they handle their mental health and why Stargate will always manage to introduce great compelling characters that we will never meet again.
After a tragic technology mishap, Courtney and MK bring you a second attempt at this episode, almost on time. We talk Broadway, horror, and prove how unhinged two people really can be.
When MK warned Courtney about love interests, this is not what she was expecting! Keep an eye on this episode because there's some major info dumping in this episode!
AHS time is here, and MK and Courtney are diving into the world of Asylum. After the high drama of The Exorcist, and the Stellar show that Murder House was, this is kind of a let down. But at least you get to watch MK angst over Evan Peters and Courtney laugh at her knowledge of what comes next. "
Courtney and MK are almost at the end of their marathon December recording session. In this Stargate Episode, which has elements of a flashback, we get a super speed story arc that could have been done over a bunch of episodes, but we're still somehow not mad at it. How do you feel?
Welcome to a movie review, where obviously MK and Courtney find everything that could possibly be wrong with a movie, and tell you about it. After an amazing experience in the world of The Exorcist, this movie was quite a let down.
Happy New Year DNA Fam! MK and Courtney struggled their way through an early recording dump, bronchitis, and the return of the replicators to bring you all this lovely final episode of 2023!
As we wrap up 2023, we're also wrapping up The Exorcist. Join us for the DNA awards as we give love to this show that neither of us expected to love as much as we did. Let us know your thoughts on the awards too!!
Merry Christmas DNA Fam!! As we wrap up the season of Jack and Sam, with a potential Teal'c death, we get into this season. Stay tuned all the way to the end for a really special treat and a present from Courtney!!
Happy Winter Solstice Folks! We celebrate the shortest day of the year with a rather long episode. Join us as we lament the ending of The Exorcist, and the rest of this terrible winter.
We're at the end of Season 4, and I think we're finally at the end of MK being sick for recording. It's the holiday season, so enjoy some festive convos, and all of the gifts that the end of a season can bring. Although, this one's kind of a bummer.
Sorry again folks! It's been a week. MK finished her first semester of TESOL, and now Courtney has Bronchitis. So, getting this episode up was a mess. Enjoy it though!
Sorry for the late post, DNA Fam. Courtney is sick and MK is about to finish the semester, but we didn't forget about you!
MK had a horrible day, and this podcast is the only choice of therapy there is. Courtney went to the parade for Thanksgiving and that was also not a great as the podcast. Basically, the only thing we love is this podcast.
We're getting ready for the holiday season. Courtney is ready to get cozy and enjoy her favorite frozen season, and MK talks engagement photos. We also talk an interesting episode of Stargate, that leans into something we have not seen a lot of.
MK talks wedding preparation drama. Courtney is just stressed. Luckily, we're heading to Thanksgiving break (which is really a week ago, it's fine, time means nothing.) Somehow Star Wars breaks records before it even comes out and The Exorcist continues to break our minds.
After a very stressful day, MK and Courtney attempt to record a mediocre episode of Stargate. MK is recovering from Bronchitis and Courtney is recovering from life. So, the usual, I guess?
