Dr. Christine Meyer teaches German Studies at the Université de Picardie
Jules Verne, Amiens, France. Her latest publication "Questioning the
Canon. Counter-Discourse and the Minority Perspective in Contemporary
German Literature" was published in July 2021.

In an interview with De Gruyter acquisitions editor Myrto Aspioti, she
talks about the ways in which Rafik Schami, Feridun Zaimoglu and Emine
Sevgi Özdamar write 'with' and against the canon of German literature.
