Why do you stand afar off, O Lord? Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble? -- Psalm 10:1-2
Father, I want to learn how to trust you more in the times when I feel like I cannot see You working. Things that weaken my faith are giving up control, fear of the future, anxiety, doubt, and worry. Help me to put these away and remember You are in Your Holy Temple, You are in control, and Your plans will always be better than any I come up with. Even when the world seems nothing but pain, strife, and confusion, help me to focus only on You, the everlasting One. In Jesus's name, Amen.
