Disney had never managed hotels before, but they decided to get into the business when they opened Walt Disney World. I take a look back at Disney getting into the hotel business in central Florida. Overview: In 1993, Nestle took over as the title sponsor for The Land. One of the changes they made was to close The Kitchen Kabaret, ending the run of veggie, veggie, fruit, fruit. The objective was to look at the earth, agriculture, and ecology. in the original design, the large atrium would have been an arboretum.
