Episode description

This podcast is not about Covid-19 (thank God).  This podcast is also not about religion nor politics. This podcast is about a daughter and her dad demonstrating that different (and sometimes seemingly divisive) perspectives don't have to create division. Our conversations are at times heated, at other times poignant, yet most often our show is a hilarious and fun perspective on uncomfortable conversations.

Come join me and dad over on the new podcast, Mind Chalk.

Show Trailer

Hey everybody. I'm Jenée Arthur, a writer and producer in Austin, Texas. You may know me as the blogger of  my tongue-in-cheek perspective about being the rare bird in her 74-person indoctrinated Catholic family. You know my family through quippy stories ranging from cross country road trips with my hard of hearing parents, to the crazy antics of our makeshift Christmas choir, where most of the singing members are tone deaf, Or my play-by-play accounts about unique moments, like that time I literally gnawed my panties off during a 13-mile training run in frigid temperatures.

You know my dad as the man who has forever inspired utter bewilderment due to his crazy anticsand some of the things he says and does.

Now you're going to get to know us in a different light through ourDaugher-Father Dance podcast.

In a world where the secular and the spiritual typically clash resulting in an "us and them" narrative—join me in my dad as we navigate our differences by carving out a place in a world, seemingly divided, where we demonstrate that division is actually optional— and maybe even prove that it's an illusion.

New shows drop every Thursday, starting September 16th. Subscribe on Apple podcasts, Spotify, Google Play, or wherever you enjoy listening to your favorite podcast.
