Episode description

Summary:

Amanda, a once strong student, struggles with school due to emotional turmoil at home caused by constant fights between her mother and her mother’s boyfriend. Her math teacher, Mr. Peterson, notices her distress and offers emotional support, inviting her to his home for a study session and a chance to talk. Initially comforted, Amanda opens up to him. However, the evening takes an inappropriate turn when Mr. Peterson kisses her, crossing a professional and ethical boundary. Amanda quickly pulls away, shocked and upset, and leaves.

The following days are filled with tension and avoidance. Mr. Peterson expresses regret and apologizes, acknowledging he crossed a line. Amanda, though still hurt and conflicted, ultimately decides to distance herself, telling him she’ll seek help elsewhere. The story ends with her reclaiming some control, despite the emotional burden she still carries.
