Episode description
Sandra, a seventeen-year-old seeking escape from a troubled home, moves in with her boyfriend Larry in a rundown inner-city apartment. Initially charmed by his gentle demeanor, she soon discovers his cruel, abusive nature. Behind closed doors, Larry's affection turns to violence, subjecting Sandra to physical and emotional torment. Trapped in a cycle of abuse, she hides her bruises and endures his drunken, brutal assaults, feeling degraded and powerless. One night, after another violent attack, Sandra reaches her breaking point. While Larry sleeps, she boils water and, in a moment of desperate retribution, pours it over him, scalding him severely. His screams echo as she watches him suffer, feeling a twisted sense of justice. After his cries fade and he lies lifeless, Sandra steps over his body and leaves the apartment. Empowered and resolute, she walks into the night, no longer a victim but a woman determined to reclaim her life and never let anyone control her again.
