Each year the Macquarie Theban Tombs Project undertakes six weeks of Archaeological fieldwork, excavating and systematically recording private tombs at Dra Abu el-Naga, on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor, Egypt. As a guide at Sydney Observatory, he has shared the southern night skies with hundreds of guests.
