The woman’s DNA profile has been provided to every lab across Canada and, along with the composite drawings, has been shared with Interpol and its 188 member countries. In August 2002, bones recovered during the search of Pickton's farm in Port Coquitlam were confirmed to be genetically linked to the partial skull. Here is what investigators have been able to determine about Jane Doe: Caucasian female, 20 to 40 years old. Death would have been sometime between about 1985 and 1995. Discretion is advised. This podcast series, hunting monsters is also dedicated to all the victims of predators and my deepest condolences to all the surviving family members and loved ones who cared for these people. It's important to remember.

That they are human beings who deserve, not only our sympathy, but also our understanding, furthermore, none of these women chose to be victimized or murdered February 23rd, 1995 a partial skull with an attached. Vertebrae was discovered in a creek by a man. I would hiking filling up his

water bottle. The creek was situated, just south of the low heat, highway east of the Ruskin bridge and Mission British Columbia. The woman's DNA profile has been provided to every lab across Canada along with the composite drawing. It has been shared with Interpol and it's 188 members countries in August 2002. Bones were re covered during a search of Robert pickton's Farm in Port Coquitlam. Were confirmed to be genetically

linked to the partial skull. That was discovered miles away in Mission BC. Here's what the investigators have been able to determine about Jane Doe. She was a Caucasian female. Her estimated age was between 20 and 40 years old. Death would have been somewhere 1985, and 1995 missing teeth in the upper. Right portion of her jaw indicates that she met Of wore Dentures. It's believed her skull was cut

in half with a power saw. So when Robert pickton's Farm was searched in August, 2002 bones were recovered. During the search of the serial killer, Robert pickton's farm and it was confirmed that not only did they find other human skulls mutilated in a very similar fashion, to the victim in Mission BC, but he'll bones ankle bones and a rib bone belonging to the victim. Mm, were found buried in a pit behind picked and slaughterhouse.

This victim has never been identified, so the area was searched by a police dog, underwater divers. The skull was examined by a pathologist and Corners. There was no obvious explanation, how it got there, or who she was on April 4th, 2002, two months, after police seized Robert pickton's property corporal. Tim slay, who examined the partial skull. That was discovered in Mission BC back. Then, who was now an investigator at the pig farm.

He was very concerned about power failures caused by the equipment. Used in the massive search were spoiling and possibly evidence and multiple freezers in particular. He was worried about an older freezer tucked away in the corner of a tiny back room. Umm and pickton's workshop. It was emitting a terrible smell but it had not been searched yet because pickton's trailer and slaughterhouse had been deemed the top priority for police at that point. Heavy objects way down the lid.

So Corporal slay asked RCMP Sergeant Fred necks to prop open the lid while he's Sean a flashlight inside he could see two buckets, one inserted, Into the other laying on their sides he reached into it and look into the top of the bucket unsure to believe his eyes. Ask Nick what he saw. It looks like a human head Tim Nick replied it was a horrifying find and for the first time police found human remains on the farm inside. The top of the bucket labeled clout. Was ahead cut into along with

two hands and feet. They were the remains of Andrea Jose burry when the top bucket was removed, slay found the same body parts from another woman in the bottom of the pale. They were all that was left of Serena Abbott's way. A pathologist at the autopsy the next day, confirmed, the remains have been treated savagely. The skulls were sown vertically through the front and back, and then torn apart at the top of the skull where the two cuts didn't quite meet.

It was an unusual. Trademark made Tim slay, think of the Jane Doe skull found in Mission BC. The veteran officer who career was focused on examining human remains. Crime scenes had never ever seen any skulls bisected that way, except for that half skull. Also inside the bottom of the pale was another severed skull. Two hands and two more feet Mona.

Wilson's remain had been sitting near another bucket holding animal awful as this was the building where Picton butchered pigs at pathologist said Abbott's way Jose burry Olson died of bullets to the Head. James do remains did not have a bullet damage, but the other half of her skull has never been found a tool. Mark expert examine the heads of all for women and then reproduced the cuts by a drawing them on a plastic skull. The result was shocking.

The pass of the four by sections were nearly identical. All four appeared to be cut with a power saw. Corporal Tim slay, the RCMP. CSI expert was called on May 5th. 2002 to the site of the old Piggery, which has been attached to the slaughterhouse before it collapsed and became a heap of construction, debris and garbage and bedded in manure, throughout the old Piggery was a partial jaw bone or several teeth in it.

Slay used it. The brush to clean off the teeth, and found a dental filling in one. It belonged to Brenda wolf, two months later, after some half walls, and a raised platform by the pigpen were torn down officers Unearthed from the ground. Some 14 human hand bones. Slay, examine one, bone and appeared to be hacked by a knife. The left hand bones were the only proof that Georgina path.

Even had been on the farm and the rest of her body and none of her personal possessions were ever found to help investigators with the massive search. The task force hired about 100, and the Balaji students and graduates to shift through dirt. Excavating from the deep below, ground level on August twenty first two thousand to one of the students was monitoring a conveyor belt which displayed an item plucked from the dirt. The Curious item caught her eye Was a partial jaw bone with

three teeth. It was the only part of Marnie Frey to be found on the farm like poppin none of phrase belongings were ever found on the property, a pathologist testified that both wolf and Frey, Jaws could have been cut through the middle, just like the other discovered skulls, when lab ran tests results on on the discovered bones DNA, Matched a heel bone and a rib bone. That was a genetic. DNA linked to the Jane Doe skull and Mission BC. So where was the rest of her and

what happened to her? The search of the Picton Brothers to Port Coquitlam properties. The main Dominion, Avenue farm, and the nearly multi acre lot on Burns Road. Continued for 20 months, the Dominion property stretched from pickton's North End of the farm to his brother's farm house at the South End.

Where police seized sex toys and lotions from Dave, pickton's bedroom on the burned Rome, Out Searchers focused on The pickton's Unofficial nightclub piggy, Palace a Smokehouse and other outbuildings and multiple Vehicles, including a blue Phantom bus and an odd building, still under construction. So many items were seized from both properties that they were sent to a warehouse for storage, some lower priority objects sat for three or four years before officers had time.

To thoroughly examine them. And if necessary sent them to one of six, RCMP Labs across Canada evidence, such as hair, blood semen or other stains was removed from many of the 235,000 item seized by the task force. That created a total of 600,000 exhibits that needed to be tested.

Prosecutors suggested the search was so thorough that police even looked in the lint tray from pickton's clothes, dryer, and argued that all the evidence linked to the missing women was found within 100 meters of pickton's trailer. It included, seven objects of Abbott's way DNA, including an inhaler, roughly 40 things with Wilson's DNA.

Them inside. A blood splattered motorhome about eleven items mostly from the trailer or slaughterhouse with Jose burry DNA such as jewelry and an address book, three objects with wolf DNA included, a leather jacket and pickton's bedroom closet. No personal possessions were found bearing DNA of pathan or Fray DNA evidence linking Picton to one of his victims included, a dildo attached to a revolver, which bore Wilson's DNA. The main question remains, how

Ingrid Fuller, made an interesting admission during cross-examination at the BC Supreme Court and newest Minister while being questioned by picked his defense lawyer.

Sometimes, after 5 p.m. and staying for several hours, Sometimes Late into the night, we would find a place to set and we would just talk she said during Conversations were mostly about animals Picton bought at the auction or plan to bid on. It was a platonic relationship. Would you say he was your best friend? Crown prosecutor Petrie asked, I wouldn't say best friends. I'd say good friends, she

replied. She didn't disagree with Petry suggestion that the farm was often very dark and isolated at night. It was scary when you agree, he asked. Yeah, she answered Willie's trailer. It's pretty isolated. He continued its at the back of the property. Yeah. She said, Petrie then asked her if she's seen any employees of pickton's brother topsoil and demolition business hanging around on the farm after work.

Yes, she replied explaining some of the crews did maintenance on the machinery and on vehicles, and the often stayed as late as 10:30 p.m. Petrie seem to have difficulty. Understanding why she spent so much time over there. She like pickton's company. She replied. we talk one-on-one just about cover anything she said, He's a pretty smart guy, Petrie asked, he talks about a lot of things.

Few moments later, she replied. Yes, but before agreeing that their conversations were essentially just chitchat Petrie, then asked her forgive me if this sounds indelicate. But did you have a crush on him? Petrie asked? No, she said you seem to be going over there an awful lot but not talking about matters of great substance. But you're there for very long periods of time, according to your evidence Petrie continued, she insisted.

She never saw any women who acted like prostitutes or anyone doing drugs on the farm. Did you see any women's clothing anywhere on the property? Petrie honest. And some of the cars he bought at the police auction. She answered also in a brief outline provided to jurors at pickton's trial. Robert Pickton was too dim to laugh at a punchline and had a limited vocabulary, but he wasn't exactly a moron. His former sister-in-law testified Sandy the closest relative to testify at pickton's trial. She said she used plain clear words when they talked nothing too.

Elaborate, she noticed that Picton had trouble understanding jokes. The testimony prompted. Prosecutor. Mike Petrie to wonder if she meant Pickton. Was a bit of a moron? I wouldn't use those words. She replied Petrie continued. Petrie asked her, how often as an office administrator for the brothers, sir, eBay, salvage company. Did she see picked in at the Port? Coquitlam Farm, she agreed. It was infrequently, but another businesswoman who dealt with Picton on a regular.

That day did a spectacular job. Considering the girls who usually did it. Radix, Houston said few hours later, he stand received the first of two or three phone calls, from Dina, Taylor, who was enraged that she's received less money from Pickton, then Andrea the woman who cleaned the trailer. Houston said, Taylor wanted Houston to come and pick her up along with Andrea and bring them bring her to pickton's farm. The three had smoked crack

And picked him. Wanted Scott Chubb to talk to her about the money. He wanted me to go talk to her for a thousand dollars, and I didn't know what he meant by docking. It could have meant multiple things when he was talking to me, he was mentioning me.

The idea that if you wanted to go talk to her, He was trying to give me an idea of how to get rid of a person.

He said he was telling me, That if you want to get rid of someone, you could take a syringe full of windshield, washer fluid or radiator fluid inject, that person with that substance and kill them Picton. Then told them an OP Topsy would be probably not be done on a junkie, because if the RCMP found a body with needle track marks, the police would simply consider the death an overdose January 2000.

A video was shown of serial killer, Robert Pickton and a female friend trying to fool RCMP interrogators by claiming that Willie Pickton, the pig butcher was pray, not the predator and the bloody knife fight in 1997 with a sex worker. The January 2000 video shown for the first time at the missing woman's Commission of inquiry suggest RCMP officers might have let picked an off-the-hook by allowing his longtime friend Gina Houston to accomplish him and answer questions for him on

video. RCMP Constable Ruth, your quit and John cater aspect. And what happened in his trailer on the Night of March 23rd, 1997, when you and a sex worker, had a big altercation. I mean, everything has been dropped. The problem is, she could have been charged picked and says, yeah, she attacked him, Houston added. And when the statement was given they dropped it, it was a terrifying event for me picked and claimed while hugging himself in the quarter and an ear. Fetal position at times.

Rocking on his chair, his palms appear to be block with dirt. He was wearing a baseball cap and a grungy sweater picked and tells the officer, he picked up the woman victim, Miss Anderson in Vancouver and promised her $100 for sex. Picton says that after the woman shot, herself up with drugs. She went into kitchen found a 6-inch butcher. Knife on the table and started to attack him. Why had it there? I don't even know picked and says, I cook, you know, I do pigs, whatever.

And anyways I turned around and she sliced a big chunk off my face picked and runs his fingers across his throat. Under both arms to demonstrate where he was slashed and says, she stabbed him right in the jaw, knocking out two teeth. And, again, in the back, I did take the knife away from her and night after twice, picked and said, that's one thing, I shouldn't have done. Picton goes on and says he went to the police station to report the incident before driving

himself to the hospital. He insists, he's never before brought a prostitute on his trailer and never did it again. Picked and denies to the officer that he offered to pay an associate to bring Miss Anderson from the downtown Eastside back to the farm. So he could finish her off. Picton said he handcuffed Anderson after she attacked him. He is asked why he keeps handcuffs in the trailer if someone breaks in. What do you do? Gina Houston says for him. Gina Houston.

Testified her continued affection for Willie Pickton. She said it was his close friend, Dina Taylor, killing the women on his property. Picton picked up Tracy, bohlen and 1996 after they had sex picked and came after her. Picton came at her with a knife, accusing her of stealing his wallet. She walked out of his trailer.

He came after her a few minutes later and drove her back downtown, she said Picton picked on the worst off women and the neighborhoods making friends with them winning their trust, by promising them, helping them to get clean but he only gives them one chance. They go back on the dope while then they don't deserve to live. They're useless, they're better off dead when she was asked. Why do you think she survived?

She simply said, because she was in high a sex trade worker, testified today at the missing woman's inquiry that she believed she was assaulted and raped by serial killer Robert Pickton. Two decades ago, Susan Davies were called, she called 911 three times report the matter. But police never showed up. She said she waited on the corner for hours for police to take her statement. But finally she left because she was so cold. It was like a blizzard, she recalled.

There was snow everywhere. I had a hop over a snow bank and get into the car. Davis told the inquiry commissioner Wally opal. She said the incident occurred somewhere around January 1991. Davis said the man was driving a beat-up station wagon and took her to a location where he punched her in the face and raped her at knifepoint. She recalled, he had thin hair and smelled terrible.

She said, she called 911 to report to police and was transferred to a police officer said he would meet her at second and Main Street. She phoned the officer twice more, he never showed she finally left. She said, the incident was a reflection of anchor replacing difference and violence against sex, trade workers. It was a common experience for sex trade worker.

She said, that's one of the reasons why there's been a traditional distrust of police, but admitted, there's been a change in attitude in The Vancouver, Police Department, especially among the younger Officer who try to make sure women working the streets are safe. Davis 43 has been an advocate for decriminalizing Street. Prostitution to make it safer. She said she's been a sex trade worker for 25 years. You have no way of protecting yourself. She recalled about getting into

a car for stranger. She said, endure sex work is safer because you can screen your clients and you have control over your working environment. Street sex workers, used to rent Hotel. Rooms and Vancouver's downtown Eastside for $20 an hour. She recalled. Most Street sex workers, only make enough money to survive and pay for drugs. Davis said, Street sex workers are preyed on by drug dealers. Everything you earn is a property of drug dealer.

She testified she said, drug dealers, don't want street workers to die, they just want them to pay their debts. But occasionally, women get pushed out. Windows Davis said, The inquiry is examining, why Pickton wasn't caught sooner. So to be continued, I'm going to continue on with the picked and series. I still have a lot more research to disclose and I want to get more into the women's stories in the next Pickton podcast in between it just to give me a break from Picton subject

matter. Myself and researching it, I'm going to do a Vancouver, beautiful and ugly because I get a lot of requests for those and I really appreciate again. Again all the positive and great feedback.
