When I was a kid, I was very adventurous. My friends and I used to skip school and go to the video arcade. The sense of freedom I had when I got my drivers license was unmatched. Riding the bus to school was the worst.

When I was in school, the teachers would hit us with rulers. Da jeg gik i skole, slog lærerne os med linealer. My parents were emphatic in their religious beliefs. Mine forældre var eftertrykkelige i deres religiøse overbevisning. My family used to have an annual reunion. Min familie plejede at holde en årlig genforening. We used to go fishing at the river most Sundays. For my birthday, all my extended family members would come over.

Til min fødselsdag ville alle mine udvidede familiemedlemmer komme over. I’m still recovering from my childhood. When I was in college I loved going to rock concerts. My taste in music has changed so much over the years. I have traveled to 15 different countries. Jeg har rejst til 15 forskellige lande.

I still remember the first time I saw the ocean. There are some freedoms I miss about childhood. Mostly I just love being an adult!
