against a former president. But much more important than all of that is who's involved. And not Biden because he's irrelevant, right unless he has one of those freeze ups that knock him out of the race in a day or two, he's irrelevant. It's all about Trump, all about Trump, and the poles coming out today from the left confirming that Trump is starting to increase his
lead again. Yeah, it's just those folks in the middle wanting to see if Trump is nuts because the Dems may come out wrongly, dishonestly to be nuts. Everybody knows their life was better under Trump than it is under Biden, and folks just want to see if Trump is still has game. So it's all about Trump tonight. Now I'm just very optimistic He's going to have a great night eight five to five for zero five A two five five the number. What would a great night look like to you? Love to hear

Deeply, deeply concerning news about CNN today, and that is that they are not allowing, as of five minutes ago, they are not allowing a press pool reporter in the studio where the debate will be held. Think about that. If that holds true, then what CNN is saying is sorry, no outside witnesses to what goes on during breaks or what goes on that can be captured by the camera angle. First of all,
it's fundamentally dishonest. It's the opposite of journalism. It's an American and it confirms that CNN is just an extension of Biden's team, because the only reason to keep a pool reporter out would be to protect Joe Biden. So that's why I'm betting Ryan another tomahawk Tomahawk's steak. If you're not familiar with the tomahawk that CNN relents. I think they'll have to now because the White House Correspondence Association is a left leaning group, and they are now very publicly blasting
CNN. I'm sure Ryan that they went along thinking this is all going to work out and CNN is going to come to their senses, and then when it became clear that no, CNN really intended not to allow a pool reporter in that now they're making so much noise, I think the CNN will have to cave on that. Yeah, we're not just talking about any Tomahawk either. It's a dry age Tomahawk's steak. Dude, I don't want to do that to you. You'd have to sell your car for that. From Shannon,
you'd have to sell two cars for that. I am that confident that this old coadure is going to remain on the ballot and it'll be worth it if they take him off. And you were right, Dan, That's the least I can do is to provide you that delicious steak and youto what else? I want to watch you eat it. I will watch you and enjoy that. Don't order it well done though, you know Trump does that. He likes his steaks well done with catchup. Interesting that kind of Yeah,
that's a fun fact. I'm and I think most people listening are probably the same way. And this isn't trying to be idealistic or anything, but I'm more of a cheeseburger guy. I think a good cheeseburger beats a good steak. Almost any day of the week, it's a good But the special occasion, right like next week thirtieth anniversary, I'm not sure I can take her out for a cheeseburger. Dan, I keep hearing that Mike's will be muted automatically when
the speaker's time ends. But will the host MIC's be muted when Trump is speaking? Good question, No, the host can talk any time. My understanding is that CNN will control when the mics are muted, and the mics are supposed to be muted when it's not your turn to speak. Now, let's be practical. Okay, picture eight feet, so a little more than the length of me, you know, picture eight feet. That's how close these guys are going to be to each other. So that's not going to
stop the yappen. That's not going to stop the yeppen if somebody wants to yap, do you think? And Martha McCallum, who has moderated debates in the past, said earlier today on Fox Newsday and that this whole mic muting thing is setting up for disaster in this debate of when it's muted and who mutes it and why did they mute it? Did they cut Donald Trump off? Did the moderators step into the interrupt him but not Biden? She thinks
it's going to go hey wire. And I agree with her. No, that's a good point because listen, if you're Donald Trump, right, if you're Donald Trump, think about everything you've been through. Think about everything you've been through, all these false allegations, the Russia hoax. You know, this corrupt sob trying to jail you because he can't beat you at the polls. He wants you to die in jail. And now you're suddenly on the
stage eight feet away from him, you know, Trump's only human. So anybody who anybody who's trying to coach Trump, if anybody is coach Trump to just a be restrained, be subdued, be quote presidential, that just ain't gonna happen. He's human, and that's not when he's at his best. Anyway. I don't want the interrupting, nonsensical stuff he was doing in that first debate in twenty I don't want any of that. But I want I want some of this man. I want that. I want that a live,
funny, aggressive on the offensive in a positive way. Trump. This is a tough business. You're a tough guy, Jeb, and we need to have a leader that is for real. Top you're never going to be president. I insulting your way too. Let's see, I'm at forty two and you're at three. So so far I'm doing better. Matter, so far, I'm doing better. You know, you started off over here, Jeb. You're moving over further and further. Pretty soon. You're gonna off
the end. I understand because the mics are going to be muted, it wouldn't be that pure tonight. But again, the muted mic is not going to stop Trump from talking when Trump wants to talk, And then the interesting question how much of that are you going to be able to pick up off of Biden's mike and or the moderator's mike. I mean, there are so many reasons this is going to be so fascinating tonight. I want to get to some other things as well. Eight five five four zero five A two

Have you seen that, Ryan, I have not Man of the Year. Okay, I've heard it's really good, though, Dan, question, can Trump differ one of his answers to Joe that might throw Joe off enough so that Joe doesn't know what to do?
Interesting concept. I'm not sure what example the Texter's thinking of. I'm not sure where Trump could give a surprising answer that would have to be inconsistent with the positions he's been taking. And and still have that work from Dan pop in the popcorn boy, So my I mean Amy and I Ryan, You'll be happy to hear have worked out the ground rules for the debate tonight in our own house. Yes, yes, different TVs on different floors with the
floor in between us. Wow. So she's going to be in the bedroom, Oh my, the kitchen unoccupied, and I'll be in the cave. Yeah. No, no, we want to make it to thirty. We're within a week of thirty. Yeah, six days till thirty. Got to get there. She can't really believe that Joe Biden's going to go in there and win this thing? Does she? I'm not sure she even likes s Biden. She just despises Trump. Yeah, so I'm not sure she. I'm not sure she even likes SPIK. Can you get her to vote for
RFK? Maybe we've never talked. Drf Cat's okay because he won't be on the belt in Colorado, right, I don't know about that. Yeah, I want. I think this is one of the states he's really been pursuing heavily. Though he may still be Yeah, well I hope he is. Anyway, Hey, when we come back, I'm voting for Trump obviously, when we come back. Is it a coincidence that there's some big Michelle Obama
news today, of all days, Biden's about to leave the race. I'm not predicting he's going to announce that tonight, but everybody in the know, I think knows he's about to leave the race. see you light heavyweight championship? Heck you goodness, not one seat available in the whole place. But I think it was that song. I wish, at least that's how I remember it, even if there were still photos. But if there was all of that from back then, man, there is one still photo out there. Yeah, there is one still photo out there that show. Yeah, but much more important fight tonight, probably the most important debate of our lifetime. So what do you think you're going to
see? What do you want to see? And again, if you just joined us, I think the big news of the day all would agree is this very very disturbing conduct by CNN, which can only be interpreted one way that they're completely in the tank for Biden. CNN refusing to allow a pool reporter into the debate, so there will be no independent media witness. So anything that happens during a break, Biden wanders off, Biden freezes up,
and nothing that happens during the debate will be reported by anybody. That's all under the control of CNN. Pardon me, nothing that happens during a break in the debate is going to be reported. The left lean White House Correspondence Association outraged and demanding that CNN allow the pool reporter in, which is obviously the norm when the President of the United States is involved in an official function, you know, even something very boring somewhere, pool reporter is present.
But clearly there is only one possible motive, no possible justification, one possible motive on the part of CNN, and that is to protect Biden. And that is the opposite of journalism. It's fundamentally dishonest. So my bet is that, yeah, CNN is going to have to relent it within the next hour and a half and allow a pool reporter in, But as of now they have not agreed to that. Welcome and let me mention one thing, Eric, because I've promoted for the segment Michelle Obama, you think it's a coincidence that the report breaks today that Michelle Obama will not campaign for Joe Biden, since I think insiders know this is Joe Biden's swan song. That's why he wanted this debate early. He knows he won't be around for the typical schedule in the fall. He wants his last big moment on the national stage. He wants
to spew venom at Trump. And so you think that's a coincidence with Michelle Obama eric him to the show? Ah Dan, thank you, yes number one. I don't think that's coincidence, which kind of leads to my thoughts, and I sure hope he does. Like you said with his a Kame, I think what's important tonight is it's not a debate really against fight and everyone knows he's a complete failure. He basically as close to a talk outline
as you can have. That's still a politician. But talk about the Democrat policies, the radical left, it's not working and it's very simple to prove all of that when you compare where we were four years ago. So I don't think tonight should be looked at as much. And then because I agree with you, the guy's basically not there right now, but attack the Democrat policies as a whole. No matter who the candidate is, this radical left
ideology and the policies around it, they're not working. They haven't worked, and they're not going to work. Eric Sowell said, And then I think the question next step is how do you do that? Because if you revert to talking points, everybody tunes out and they're very disappointed. So you have to make it real. You just have to talk about, hey, were you better off when I was president or while he's president? Were you better off four years ago? Orre you better off now? And just make it
real. Hey, what were you paying for your groceries when I was president? What are you paying when he's president? And do you want peace? When I was president? Did we have peace? Yes we did? Or do you want war when he's president? We have war. You have to make it so personal because here's the bottom line, and this is science, this is real and tonight the winner is going to be determined, not by anything in particular anybody says the winner is going to be determined by how the
viewer feels, how the viewer feels. And that's not an insult to the viewer, because listen, God created us this way. You know, we just don't have Okay, we got our brain and then we got our emotions. And brain strong, emotions weak. They're all wired together. They all work together. That's how we have intuition, that's how we have instincts. That's how we can quote trust our gut in making life and death decisions on the fly. So it's all about how the viewer feels tonight, in particular,
how they feel about Trump, how they feel about Biden. That's done, that's baked in the cake. I don't care what kind of cocktail they give him tonight. He could come out there looking like Tom Cruise. It would not matter. People know who Biden is, they've seen him for long enough, and they know he's a failed president. They know they were better off under Trump. This is about a Trump performance tonight and how he makes
those undecided voters or those persuadable voters feel. And that's why I'm so confident he's going to have a great night. Perfect. No, but other than the Good Lord coming down to debate tonight, nobody's going to be perfect. But I think he's going to have a very good night. And one of the reasons for that, my young friend Ryan, is it's very human. This is a very very human process for the voter as well as the candidates.
Think about how Donald Trump, think about how Donald Trump has been strengthened by fire. I'm not saying the man's perfect. Nobody is. But think about this. Joe Biden has been weak his entire life. Joe Biden was weak, pathetically weak in his prime. Joe Biden has always been weak intellectually, He's always been stunningly weak morally. He's just been weak at his very best, and now, unfortunately he's obviously in the throes of cognitive decline.
Donald Trump has always been strong. Now, sometimes he's been wrong, and sometimes he's done wrong things, but he's always been strong. And that's one reason he had a great first term. But all of this suffering he's been through, all of this persecution he's been through, has only made him stronger. So when he goes into something like tonight, after everything he's been through, tonight is not going to be too big for him, and he's going
to be to go in there and fully perform. The key question is self control. He's only human. Can he control his emotions enough? But I don't want him controlling his emotions too much. I want him in there a man in full tonight. And I think that's what we're gonna get. I think he needs to channel his inner Ronald Reagan as a happy warrior. He's got to be equal parts both. He's got to be willing to fight. Let me take that on a little bit. May I go ahead? You're
sorry to interrupt who said it's nobody thinks that? But but no, here's the point, the happy warrior saying, you know, pup bees and rainbows and no, but there has to be a sense of humor. Donald Trump has to be trying to himself, right, but you have to have that sense of humor for sure. He's he's not going to be as sunny as Reagan would be, though Reagan could have a bite. Oh yeah, you know, Donald Trump, there is going to be if if he's fully alive
tonight, there is going to be an intensity. There's a times going to be anger. Listen, anger is good as long as it's justified, it's righteous, it's controlled anger, and there's should be anger at some of this stuff. But it can't be about him. It has to be about us, about the people he wants to vote for him. It can't be festivus. It can't just be airing of grievances. But I don't think it will
be. It can't be about him. He's got to make this about the American people, and they got to come away with two words about Donald Trump that reassures the very people you talked about, the persuadables, those in the middle, those that are undercided, safety and security, meaning I feel safer and more secure with Donald Trump as president of the United States. It's a
part of making it about us is exposing the true bidence. So as long as it's not yet festivus airing of personal grievances, there can be an anger, There can be an edge and intensity as he exposes the real Joe by totally, and people will consider that to be about them. You know. People want that. People want somebody strong, people want somebody who will speak the truth. So, yeah, this is going to be amazing tonight eight five five for zero five A two five five text d A N five seven

Yeah, Hey, you know, I know it's going to come down to nothing but character attacks on Trump, And I was thinking today, you know, it would be when if he's really attacked on his character much. I wish he could come back with and ask Joe Biden, who Navy Roberts is his granddaughter through Hunter that you know he evidently doesn't even know, and then follow that up with, well, you know, Navy Roberts evidently didn't get a Christmas stocking. She doesn't get a birthday card.
That was reported in the news recently that I think she's six years old. He's never never gave her a Christmas card or a Birthday gift or a card. That is such an important suggestion, Thank you, my friend, because I think what's really going to be effective tonight is his new stock. Like that, right, everybody's tired of the talking points. Everybody's tired of the same old things. Nobody wants to hear personal grievances from President Trump, and
I don't think we're going to hear that tonight. I think we're going to have a great Trump performance. But the new approaches, right, because you know how you are, we're all the same way. There are certain things that can be said that will open our mind because it's a different way of
looking at an issue you've already thought a lot about. So on the character issue, that's a fascinating possibility, Patrick, But that ties into Eric Erickson posted this today about his radio show caller to the show with the suggested line for Trump tonight, Joe, while you've been at Camp David trying to memorize quips and one liners against me, I've been memorizing the names of the young
American women killed by illegal aliens you've led into the country. There it is, and I think, and this is such an important, legitimate issue that needs to be pounded tonight, which is the women who are being raped and killed by people Joe Biden led in illegally. It's no reflection on the broader population of folks who enter the country, but the point being that every crime committed by an illegal immigrant is a preventable crime, and Joe Biden has allowed
that crime. And we are seeing this rash of brutal murders of young women in America by people Joe Biden has allowed into this country. And Trump needs to hammer on that tonight. Democrats claim to be the party of women, Republicans are supposed to be anti woman. Look at what Joe Biden's doing. I mean, it needs to be hammering the fact that we're having all of this crime, all this murder, all this carnage committed by people Joe Biden
has allowed in illegally. Again no reflection on the broader population of folks who enter. But every crime committed by an illegal is preventable, but Joe Biden has decided not to prevent it. Eight five for zero five two five five men. I'm a great text, Dan, different scenario. Trump is an elderly man too. What if he were to freeze up or face a medical situation? What could be the repercussions best regards around What a great question.
I believe that because Donald Trump has been such a horse, He's been so strong physically over so many years that I think if he had some kind of moment tonight, you know, some kind of freeze up moments, some kind of just forgetting what he was talking about, I don't think it has any long term effect because people look at his body of work, just like Joe Biden. Tonight, he's going to have a better night than expected, probably,
but that's not going to change how people view Joe Biden. That's baked in the cake because they've seen him in action day after day after day. So that's where I think that comes down. She got that one right, Okay, And she's gotten other things right over twenty nine years and three hundred and sixty two days. No, no, three hundred, yeah, something like that. worked out the logistics. I told Ryan that earlier. We're going to watch the debate in the same home together on different floors, separated by a floor. She'll be in the bedroom, kitchen empty. I'll be in the cave. I think that's that's a safe approach to this. Dan Well, the Trump team have their own video of the entire debate. I don't believe so.
I think that because CNN is refusing to allow a pool reporter in thereby make certain that the only reporting on what happens during the breaks or otherwise not visible to their cameras is controlled by CNN. Think about that, CNN is controlling what news Americans get about what happens off camera on a night like tonight. I mean, that is so fundamentally dishonest, so anti journalism. But I'd be surprised if they're allowing the Trump team to bring their own camera in.

While the other one who has turned on sounds you cannot hear the person off mic at all. Okay, Yeah, no surprise they would gear it that way. Text her. If Trump shows up with the smile, humor and comparisons between his time in office and Joe's time, things will go well for the country, beautifully said. That just captures it right there,
this Michelle Obama thing. I don't want to overdo it. Okay, but do you think it's a coincidence that that story breaks today that she's not going to campaign for Joe Biden Because clearly at this point everybody in the know on the left, I think knows Biden's not going to be the nominee. This is his swan song. He wanted this early because he knows he won't be around or capable of the fall debates. This is his last big moment
in the spotlight where the people are actually going to pay attention. He'll get to spew some venom and Trump brag about his record and that this is his swan song. That's why you see Newsom moving back to Marine County, you know, so his children can have quote educational continuity. Yeah, while he runs a presidential campaign. Polis has resurfaced. Glad to see he's okay,
but he's resurfaced and doing national TV in the last couple of days. And the Michelle Obama story today and a story that she's not going to campaign for Biden. Wow, I hope that does not mean that she's getting in. You know, So I think Newsom would be tougher than Biden. Yeah, Trump still beats Newsome because California is so awful. Obviously any of us could
beat Kamala Harris, but Man and Jared Polis that's a joke. But you throw Michelle Obama in there now, Now it's going to be a horse race eight five five four zero five eight two five five then number boy, you want to hear do you want to hear Trump sounding like this tonight, don't you? This is a tough business. So you're a tough guy, Jee and it's and we need to have a leader that is for real. Top You're never going to be president, and I insulting your way. So let's

However, that is not without its downsides, in particular when it comes to women. You've called women you don't like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals your Twitter account only ROSI O'donald, No, it wasn't. That's the kind of we need tonight.
That's that's the quickness, that's the humor we need tonight. So and I think he's going to have a great night. Listen eight five eight two five five the number. I really do believe that, you know what I mean, because you know how they hate him. If he can make them laugh at him in spite of their hate for him, win, that's a win.
How about this text, Dan, I'd love to see Trump walk to his podium with a laptop say nothing, just smile, no props all yeah, no, but right, and I wonder why and if you just joined us a big controversy. Even the left leaning White House Correspondence Association outrage CNN will not allow a pool reporter into the eight room. So CNN has total control over news reporting of anything that happens during breaks. There's no legitimate purpose for
that. It just confirms they are just an extension of the Biden campaign. And very unfortunate there, but very revealing and confirming, right, Dan, Trump has a lot of secret service around him. Maybe they should hook him up in some kind of camera to audio technology. Somebody else that suggested a bodycam earlier for Trump. You know, we're going to get some kind of creative twist tonight from Trump, and Biden will try it, right, but
he can't really pull it off. But there'll be something creative from Trump. I can't wait to see what that is. But he is at his best when he's spontaneous as well. And listen, when anybody's spontaneous, we can all make some mistakes, but he's at his best like that with Rosy O'Donnell.
Now, do you think with that line about only Rosie o'donald, do you think that was pre planned the result of prep Okay, mister president, you're going to get some kind of attack question along the lines of negative comments you've made about women. And then whether Trump or his team came up with it, they came up with that great line, or do you think it was just from the hit the latter. I think he was just ready with
it. It was his wit coming into play at that very moment, and I think we knew he's always had that kind of feud with her and he was playing up on that. It was a great line at a great moment. Yeah, and again that's why I want I don't want him to be overmanaged tonight. I don't want him to be over controlled, and I doubt he will be. That's not his norm. But he has spent his life, he has spent his life as an entertainer. He's spent his life in
some really tough arenas. He had a great first term to just come in tonight, not the festive his staff like era, that weird interrupting of Biden for no purpose, to no end that we saw in that first debate in twenty But I still want to see him energetic. I want to see him on the offensive. I want to see him aggressive. I want to see him funny, and just that contrast right in the contrast that Biden won't matter because Biden's not their nominee. You know, this is swan song, his
last moment of big relevance in America. But for Trump, you know, to set up against whether it's going to be Gavin Newsom or some other dem you know, just to further solidify the fact that he's still sharp and vibrant and energetic. You know, there's such a great opportunity and coming on the heels of are really nice. Do you see that New York Times Siena poll. Oh yeah, I think even stretch that lead out a little bit.
For this latest poll, yeah, the four and Quinnipiac four yeah, yeah, and Washington Post, he has an eleven point lead on who's best to protect America against threats to democracy? Trump, That's an eleven point lead. Yeah, those two poles real important point out Dan New York Times, Sienna and Quinnipeac are national popular vote poles. Yeah, and then obviously the last
swing state set, Trump's lead is solid. Even though the Fox National had Biden bumping ahead, the Fox Swing States still had solid leads for Trump in every swing state. Bronco fan, saying he expects Biden to take a dive tonight. And this guy's one of the smartest people I've ever known. He'd be uber successful at whatever he did if he hadn't played sports. But he expects Biden to take a dive tonight, like literally physically and go out that way. Personally, I don't see that at all. I think headlines tomorrow Biden better and expected, and I think you will be right. They seem to always be able to get him better than he usually is for an hour or two for one
of these things. You know this though, that they can't do it every day or they would, So whatever they do to get him like this, it must be something that carries too much danger if you do it every day. But yeah, he'll be better and expected unless there's one of those weird freeze up moments, and in that case, you know he'll be out of this race in a week or two. Otherwise, I think it's just the timing stretches out to maybe the convention. Bottom line, Ryan, what grade
