In our third episode of DAMSEL (no distress) we are talking with Joi Britt about all things mental health wellness and why it's so important to take the time for self care.

Joi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker born and raised in the Bronx. She has worked in various roles with children, adolescents and families over her career.  In November 2019, Joi took a leap of faith and opened her own private practice -  Life Intentionally Psychotherapy Services.

In March 2020 (pre-quarantine), Joi took an even bigger leap of faith when she left her full-time job and dedicated herself full-time to work on her dreams and purpose.

Joi is also the host of The Joi of Social Work Podcast which launched in January 2018. Her podcast takes listeners on her journey of life after loss and the importance of mental health wellness.
