Flock cameras are used for neighborhood surveillance and can detect people, animals, and bicycles, but are best at detecting cars, specifically their license plates. Motherboard obtained hundreds of emails from about 20 police departments in the US detailing the use of a program called TALON to look up information collected from Flock cameras. Uber announced it intends to buy the alcohol delivery company Drizly for $1.1 billion.
