Clues – Imagine you lose your keys at home. You look under the sofa, behind the fridge, even inside your shoes. You check every single place—you leave no stone unturned.
 – A detective is trying to solve a difficult case. He interviews witnesses, reviews cameras, and follows every lead. He leaves no stone unturned.
Definition: To
leave no stone unturned means to try every possible way to achieve something or to find what you’re looking for.

Examples The rescue team left no stone unturned in their search for survivors.
He left no stone unturned while looking for a new job.

Fun Fact   This idiom comes from ancient Greece! A general told his men to search for hidden treasure by literally turning over every stone on the ground—so the phrase became a symbol of thorough effort.
