A few things to note:
Genesis 9 begins with blessing and commandment. Contains the covenant between God and man and ends with a sad lapse of judgement in Noah and his son Ham. One was drunk, the other walked in on his father's nakedness and told his brothers.
Genesis 10 contains the genealogy of Noah.
Genesis 11 tells of man attempt to build a tower to heaven. God confounded men, scattered them, and confused their language. At the close of the chapter we are introduced to Abram and his family.
Matthew 4 is a very important chapter in your Bible. Here the Man Christ Jesus, proved that He was sinless, and that by the Word of God, Satan himself is a defeated foe. Beginning in verse 12, we see the beginning of Christ's ministry and the calling of the disciples.
