A few things to note:
Genesis 28: Jacob is sent away, but he is on a mission. He's on his way to find a wife. Little does he know that betrayal awaits, but though it all so does love. On his way, he comes to a strange place, but one he names Beth-el. Remember this, because it will come up again. He calls it the House and Gate of God.
Genesis 29: Jacob comes to his designated location and falls in love. He works for the opportunity to marry Rachel, but is deceived. He works seven more year and finally marries the woman he loves. All the while, she is barren, but God blesses Leah, she gives him four sons.
Matthew 9: Jesus heals a crippled man, casts out a devil, makes the blind man to see, and raises a young girl from hear death bed. He calls Matthew to be His disciple, and takes the Pharisees to school. In all of this, He is touched by a woman with a twelve year issue of blood, and by her faith she is healed.
