When I was a kid, I was very adventurous. Když jsem byl dítě, byl jsem velmi dobrodružný. My friends and I used to skip school and go to the video arcade. S kamarády jsme vynechávali školu a chodili do herny. The sense of freedom I had when I got my drivers license was unmatched. Pocit svobody, který jsem měl, když jsem získal řidičský průkaz, byl bezkonkurenční. Riding the bus to school was the worst. Nejhorší byla cesta autobusem do školy.

When I was in school, the teachers would hit us with rulers. Když jsem byl ve škole, učitelé nás mlátili pravítky. My parents were emphatic in their religious beliefs. Moji rodiče byli důrazní ve svém náboženském přesvědčení. My family used to have an annual reunion. Moje rodina mívala každoroční setkání. We used to go fishing at the river most Sundays. Většinu nedělí jsme jezdili na ryby k řece. For my birthday, all my extended family members would come over.

Na mé narozeniny přišli všichni členové mé širší rodiny. I’m still recovering from my childhood. Stále se vzpamatovávám z dětství. When I was in college I loved going to rock concerts. Když jsem byl na vysoké škole, rád jsem chodil na rockové koncerty. My taste in music has changed so much over the years. Můj hudební vkus se za ta léta tolik změnil. I have traveled to 15 different countries. Procestoval jsem 15 různých zemí. I still remember the first time I saw the ocean.

Dodnes si pamatuji, jak jsem poprvé viděl oceán. There are some freedoms I miss about childhood. V dětství mi chybí určité svobody. Mostly I just love being an adult! Hlavně miluji být dospělý!
