Episode description

In this edition of The Podcast I sit down and talk training with sprint coach Hakan Andersson. After a brief bio we discuss where his desire to research training methods began. This leads us to CNS fatigue, and discussing the theories and his thoughts on the premise. Hakan then shares the impact working in athletics has had on his work in other sports (soccer, swimming, and hockey), and where strength and jump training fit in the development of athletes. We close out discussing Olympic Lifts, where they fit in training, and why he uses them, along with how strong is “strong enough”.
