Byrd Broyles

Rev. Byrd Broyles was born in Johnson City, Tennessee and is a 4.5 generation Cumberland Presbyterian.  He has a degree in Special Education from East Tennessee State University and is a graduate from the Program of Alternate Studies.  He serves the Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church outside of Columbia, Tennessee and is a Special Education teacher at Marshall County High School.  His claim to fame is being the first person to submit a resignation to a church within a week following ordination.
