This Saturday, our girls varsity basketball team is headed to Sacramento to play for the CIF State Open Division Championship Title. Today, we’re talking with Head Coach Doc Scheppler and his team’s five seniors about what makes this team so special, how they’ve found success this season, what it’s like for the seniors to be preparing to play their final game as Panthers, and the huge difference their fans make for them from the stands. Our special guest interviewer today is Kyle Riches. Kyle is the grandson of Pinewood’s founders, Vic and Gwen Riches, is a Pinewood alum, and is a die-hard Panther fan.
