Speaker 1

Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to Wednesday Service, episode number two, brought to you by a Cult, the Conspiracy Podcast. I'm your host, Josh Monday. If you don't know me, I'm a Christian rapper, devoted husband, father, and army veteran, and the host of Josh Monday Christian conspiracy podcast. So yeah, so I got a little little bit of a cold, but I'll be good. Let me just take a drink. So today, oh yeah, I'm also the host of Sunday Service.

So thank you guys for tuning in. I really appreciate it, and thank you so much Jonathan and Jacob for allowing me to do this show. Today we're going to be actually going over the Book of Matthew, which is going to be exciting. So I think on Wednesdays I'm gonna try to do some New Testament and on Sundays, I'm actually in the Book of Exodus, so I'm doing Old Testament. So I think that'd be really good for you guys to learn, and you know, kind of going going from

New Testament to Old Testament. You know, I think that it's very important, and some people they choose to just stick with the New Testament. But for me, I think it's it's good. You know, all scriptures inspired by God, you know, profitable for doction, reproof for correction. So I think it's good to go through all scripture. And you also need a great foundation before you jump into the

New Testament. So we've already gone over the book of Genesis all the way to Exodus if you are following along, and you know with our Sunday Service podcast. So now for Wednesday's I think we are going to dive into the New Testament. So thank you guys so much for tuning in, like I said, and it'll be such a blessing. So first, before we get into Matthew, we'll get a little history of Matthew. He is a disciple of Jesus. He's a tax collector. He's one of the four evangelists

who wrote the Gospel in the New Testament. And yeah, so he was. He was Matthew called to follow Jesus while sitting at the receipt of custom in Capernaum, sorry Copernaum. And then also Matthew was a patron saint of accountants and tax collectors. In the Feast of Saint Matthew is celebrated on September twenty first. So, yeah, I just kind of want to let you know that. And uh yeah, so let's let's go ahead and get into uh Matthew. So, uh the genealogy of Matthew or the genealogy of Jesus Christ,

the Son of God, the son of Abraham. Abraham begat Isaac, Isaac begat, Jacob, Jacob begat, Judah and his brothers Judah begat Perez and Zara by Tamar Perez begat, Hesron and Hesron begat ram Ram, begat Amenda, dab Midda, dab begat, Nashon, Nisshaun begat Salmon, Salmon, begat Boez by Rahab Rahabos got obed by Ruth Obed begat Jesse and Jesse begat. David

the King. Very interesting so far. We when we were going over in the Book of Genesis, we saw that Judah uh slept with the prostitute and begat Perez, which was very interesting, and so we see Perez in the in that line. Yeah, very interesting right there, and also Rehab is interesting as well. So we'll continue, Uh, David, the Kings of Solomon. David the King begot Solomon by

her who had the wife of Uriah. Solomon begat Roabam Roabam begat Abajah and Abajah begat a shah Asa begat, Jesse Fat, Jesse Fat begat Joram and Joram begat Uzza

Uzzah begat Joatham Joatham begat a has and it has begot. Hezekiah, Hezekiah begat Manassai, Manassai begot, Amin Amin begat Josiah Josiah begat Jack Andiah and his brothers about the time that they were carried away to Babylon, and after they were brought to Babylon, Jakiah begat shellet Tel and shelle Attel begat zerouble ball zeruble Ball begat a bid Abid begat Ali kim Ali Quim begat azor Azor begat sadax A, doct begat Akeem Aquem begat Elliott, Elliot begat Eliezer Eliezer

begat Nathan and Methan begat, Jacob and Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. So some interesting thing about this, uh was I kind of went over the Perez thing that was kind of interesting that Judas slept with the prostitute. Well, Judah slept with his sister in law, which he thought was a prostitute. And then they begat Perez. So that was really interesting. And then yeah, so I think that's

super interesting. And then also there's another one in here, jacka Andiah. Okay, so Jack and Noiah. If you go to so Jacob, he got Judas, which means Judah. Okay, So if you go to Jeremiah twenty two thirty, there's a curse on Jack and Yah. All right, So this line is going through Joseph. Joseph is not obviously Jesus's biological father, but Joseph is his father and you know, earthy father, stepfather I guess, or by whatever you want

to say. But in Jewish tradition, they would they would go even though Jesus is not his biological father, he would still so they would still use Joseph as the lineage, right, So that's why Matthew is choosing to go with Joseph. And if you go the crazy thing is, if you go to Jeremiah twenty two thirty, it says that thus says the Lord write this man down as childless, a man who shall not prosper in his days, for none of his descendants shall prosper sitting on the throne of

David and ruling anymore. In Judah, and this is referring to Jacka Andiah, there's a curse on jek Andiah. And if you notice, jack Andiah is in this line. So if Jacka and I, or if Joseph would have been Jesus's biological father, then Jesus would not have been able to rule on the throne of David because of this curse. So that's why you end up seeing in the Book of Luke, we believe he's going over Mary's lineage, and that goes through a different line and doesn't go to

through jack and Aiah. So Mary is his biological mother obviously through the Holy Spirit. So that's why you kind of have that. So I think it's really interesting when you kind of break it down. And also I'm going to kind of go over something too, the prophecy of

Christ our Messiah coming through the line of David. We want to look at that too, So that twod Samuel seven, verses ten through seventeen, it says moreover, I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will and plant them that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more, Nor shall the sons of wickedness suppress them anymore as previously, since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people, Israel, and

have caused you to rest from their enemies. Also, the Lord tells you that he will make you a house. When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set you up. I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of a man and with the

blows of the sons of men. But by my mercy shall not depart from him. But as I took it from Saou, whom I removed from. Before you and your house and your kingdom shall you be established forever before you and your throne shall be established forever, according to all these words and according to all this vision. So Nathan spoke to David. So if you look at numbers twelve, verses four through eight. I've kind to always go over this, but it's very important. God, the Father says I come.

Actually the Lord says I come to profits and vision and in dreams. But when it comes to Moses, I speak to them face to face, you know, mouth to mouth, and the new King James, so on the old and the King James. So if you understand, this is Nathan the prophet. So God is giving coming to Nathan in this vision and telling him this. Okay. So this is very interesting. So this is the prophecy of Christ, the Christ or Messiah coming from the line of David, the

Messianic prophecy. Okay. So I think that's super interesting. We really need to know stuff like this, and that way we know what's going on. When you know what prophecies were foretold before Jesus was was born. So we have that and the Jack and Aiah curse. That's that's a really interesting part too as well. Fascinating. So all the

generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations. From David until captivity and bat Baplon are fourteen generations, and from the captivity in Babylon until the Christ are fourteen generations the Christ, meaning the Messiah. Okay, so now we're gonna have Christ born of Mary. Before we do that, let's go over a few things in Isaiah that are kind of foretelling Jesus's birth right. So it says Isaiah seven

thirteen through fourteen. Then he said, here now, o house of David, it is a small thing for you to weary men, but you will weary my God. Also therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the Virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel. Some people have a problem with that because they go, then Jesus was never called Emanuel. Why is he called Jesus? Or why is he called the Christ? Why is he called Yoshua? And that's what it means.

Jesus is Joshua, that's it, or Yoshia. Either way you could say that. And my name is Joshua as well. I'm actually named after not after Jesus, but after Joshua in the Bible. But Emanuel means God is with us, right, so it means God is with us. So it could be that that's why people will call him Emmanuel, because people will say that God is with us. Yeah, that's what people say, because we believe that Jesus is God. So God is with us, you know, so it might be kind of a more of a meaning to the

name that instead of like them literally calling him Emmanuel. Okay, that's that's what some people believe in. And I think that's a pretty good interpretation there. Okay. So we have Isaiah and nine four through six as well. It says, for you have broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian, for every warrior sandal from the noisy battle, and garments roll than blood will

be used for burning in fuel fire. For unto us, a child is born, unto us, a son is given, and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called wonderful counselor Mighty God, everlasting Father, and Prince of peace. Yes, everlasting Father. Wow. Interesting huh. We also have Micah five two through five. Here's another one. I want to go over for you guys.

Speaker 2

But but you, Bethlehem, Efritah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to me the one to be the ruler in Israel, whose.

Speaker 1

Goings forth or from old, from everlasting. Therefore he shall give them until the time that he was, that she who was in labor has given birth, that the remnant of his brethren shall return to the children of Israel. And he shall stand and feed his flock. And the strength of the Lord and the majesty of the name of the Lord his God, and they shall abide. For now he shall be great to the ends of the earth.

And this one shall be peace. When the Assyrian comes into our land, when he when he treads into our palaces, then we will raise, rise, raise against him seven shepherds and eight princely men. The Assyrian is actually in the Old Testament, is like a it's like the anti Christ. It's like an anti Christ. It's the Assyrian. So I think that's really interesting how that they're so anyways, all right, so yeah, those are those are some prof you know,

prophetic of Jesus coming. We'll go ahead and get into the Jesus being born now. So now the birth of Jesus Christ as follows after his mother Mary was bethralled, bethralled, bethrolled, sorry to Jesus to Joseph. Before they came together, she was found with a child in the Holy Spirit. Now, bethrolled is there's no word in the English for that. What that is the closest thing to it would be

like an engagement. But the thing is, when you're bethrilled or be thralled bethrolled, I don't know how to say the word. I'm sorry, be throeded, be thralled. So anyways, when you are bethrolled to Joseph, what that means is that at this point, now you're so together. You're not married yet, but you're so together that it would actually take a bill of divorce for you to separate. So they are in it to win it at this point. So, before they came together, she was found with a child

of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph, her husband, being a just man and wanting to make her a public not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to

put her away secretly. But why he thought about these things? Behold, an angel, an angel of the Lord, appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you marry your wife, for which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit, and she will bring forth the sun, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will he will save his people from their sins. So back then, you know,

we didn't have a pregnancy test. Back then, they didn't have that, you know, so they would just start to show. So she started to show, and you know, didn't want to make a public example out of her. Right they weren't married yet everybody knew that. So, you know, Joseph, he was a just man, it says, and uh, I think it's it's it's interesting that an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, Senator David,

do not be afraid to take your wife Mary. So he obviously was a great man, you know, because he ended up by faith, accepting this pregnancy, accepting that it was of the Holy Spirit, still giving his wife a chance. And I think that he's definitely a fascinating character in the Bible, you know, Joseph, because of the way that he did that, you know, the way he accepted that, because it takes a real man to do that, because you could obviously just put her out there on blast

and get her stone to death or whatever. It would happen to her back then and get her, get a bill of divorce and leave her. But instead he took her in, and he took on the you know the responsibility. It says, so all this was done, that it'd be fulfilled, which is spoken by the Lord through the prophets. Ain't behold the version shall be with the child and bear's son, and shall call his name Emmanuel, which is translated God

with us. Then Joseph arose from his sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took him and his wife, and did not know her till she brought forth her son, firstborn, for her firstborn son, and he called him Jesus Yoshia the mashiat so Joshua. Right, So, so did you did you understand what it said right there said did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn son. That means did not make love

to her until she brought forth her firstborn son. So obviously Mary was not a virgin her whole entire life, because you can read right here plainly that it says that he did not know her till she had brought her forth her firstborn son, did not know her, meaning uh, you know, make love to her, right, and he called his name Jesus. Okay, so we need to understand that because when he people try to come into you and

tell you she was a virgin role life. Well, I mean, plainly, we could see that Jesus had brothers, right, and sisters, so obviously she was in a virgin of ural life. They didn't. They didn't all come from a Joseph's side before he got with her, right. So I don't know, I don't know why why they would bring that type of thing, but they want to have Mary worship. That's why. You know. I just want to let you guys know that obviously that that's not the case. So we'll go

in and switch to our notes for Matthew two. Okay, So this is this is about the wise men from the East. The wise men. Yeah, this is a fascinating as well. So now, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem. Now, one thing I want to tell you about Bethlehem. Uh So it says, now Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea.

Now I want to tell you about Bethlehem, because Bethlehem is actually where King David was born roughly a thousand years earlier. He was born in Bethlehem. He was the youngest son of Jesse, a farmer a shepherd for the tribe of Judah. David was also a shepherd as a child. Bethlehem was known as Efiratha Epiatha. Sorry, it's hard for me to pronounce him with his Hebrew, which means fruitful in Hebrew. Okay, Efirath is what some people how, some people pronounce itrath but has an ah at the end,

so it sounds like Epiratha. But Efirath is what Bethlehem was known as, okay before. So I think that's pretty fascinating stuff. And so we want to also, I kind of want to key in on these wise men, right, I mean, what does that even mean? A wise man? So the Greek word is a magos, right, magos, And the name was given by the Babylonians, Chaldeans, Persians, and others to the wise men teachers, the midis, also the midies,

the Persians and others. There were teachers, priests, physicians, astrologers, theears, interpreters of dreams, augurs, soothsayers, and sorcerers. So these happen to be they happened to be astrologers, these ones. Okay, so these are actually you know, magi or magicians. That's what these guys are. And I also want to tell you that the there's like you know, you hear the Christmas songs like the three Kings, these are not kings. These are magicians that came from the east. You know

that King Herod had sent. Okay, so they're astrologers or watchers of the stars. And just to let you know, since interpreters of dreams are you know, interpreters of dreams, that's what Joseph and Daniel were in Egypt and in Babylon, right, Daniel and Babylon. Joseph in Egypt, he was they were They were basically looked at as magi or or magicians, even though you know biblically they're not magicians, but that's what they were looked at. But they were getting their

power from God. So obviously they're not magicians or they're not sorcerers. They were getting their power from the King of kings, the lord and lords, from God himself, right, So they were just interpreting the dream. But if you if you notice when when Joseph and Daniel were interpreting

the dream, they were always giving glory to God. Right, so especially Daniel Man, he kept on saying that, like every single time that they would say something to him about it, he was always giving glory to God about you know, interpreting the dream. God is the one that's doing it, not me, taking the glory off himself and pointing out to God. So that that's what you gotta do, right. You don't want to just oh, hey, that's a great sermon, well, oh thank you, and then you just walk away. That's

not all glory to God. You know, God is someone that gave me this, you know, these this message today or God is the one that gave me this. Uh these words that I spoke today, It wasn't me, you know, the Holy Spirit speaking through me. You know, you got you gotta give glory to God. So anyways, uh so we'll go ahead and continue. And also the wise man, there wasn't three of them. They would come in and in groves like they would come with a whole bunch

of people. They would they would come deep, they would they would come deep. You know they wouldn't come, and they didn't come the day that that Jesus was born either. You know, you guys got to know that they didn't come to the exact day he was born. Well, we'll continue reading here and you'll see. So when they try to say, like, oh, they try to tell you the Christmas story, that's that's not even accurate, especially the songs that they try to say about it. You know, it's

definitely a little dressed up, all right and inaccurate. They got to go from what the Bible says, and uh, you know it obviously it happens now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judah and the days of Herod the King, Behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem saying, here is he who has been born king of the Jews. But we have seen his star in the east and have come to worship him. So they

know that he is going to be a king. Okay, they know they're magicians and they are astrologers, right, so they have they have this thing where they know he's going to be king, and you could tell because they bring gold. It says when Herod the King heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him, and we had When he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them, were

that the Christ? Where the Christ was to be born? Now, let's do a little Let me give you a little history on King Herod. King Herod, he was actually an Edomite. Right, So there was the Moobites and Edomites. And the way that they happened to come into fruition is when Lot slept with his daughters. Right, That's when the Moobites and the Edomites came into fruition. Right. So King Herod was an Edomite, a Semitic people who converted to Judaism in

the second century BC. Herod's father was a high ranking official in Judea and Edomite by descent. Antipot Anti Panther was the descendant of Esau, the brother of Jacob, the ancestor of the Israelites. So Herod's ethnic background he okay. Arry Kennarty went over that Herod was raised as a Jew. He was married into a Hashemonian family and rebuilt the temple in Israel. Harold ruled Judea from about thirty seven BCE until his death and four b. He tried to be both a Jew of the Jews and a Roman

to the Romans. So I just want to tell you that also Herod killed his He killed his two sons, Alexander and Aristobus the fifth, along with his oldest son Antipater the second. Okay, So Herod was known for being a powerful ruler, but he was also jealous and he would kill anyone he considered a threat to his reign. He had eight wives and at least fourteen children. Harod killed his sons and they were who were the sons of his wife Mariam. He also killed Mariam her mother

and her grandmother grandfather. So I just want to tell you this guy that we're dealing with here, King Herod is brutal, Okay, he is no joke, like he killed his sons, killed his wife and her grandfather's Oh it says his grandmother, Oh and her mother and her grandfather. This fool is no joke, like he's straight slam fools. So yeah, he's very powerful, so we need to understand that.

And he is, uh, he was a that's why when you see what he ordered with all the first born, you see what's going on anybody that's trying to get in the way of his reign, he wants to kill them. And also, the devil has been trying to kill the line of the Messiah ever since canaan Abel. Once he found out in Genesis three seventeen that her seed is gonna bruise his heel. Right, he is our sorry Bruce's head that he was gonna bruise her seed's heel, and then he was gonna bruise his head, right, give him

a mortal headwind. He was automatically the devil was like that was like started the cosmic chess match. So you see that in Egypt all the firstborn. You see in Genesis six where they had you know, the angels came down had sex with women and they ended up having nepheline. Right, that's the DNA getting corrupted. He wanted to corrupt the DNA so that when you know, when Jesus was was born, he would have that DNA that corrupt the DNA. You see that. You know, Egypt kill all the firstborn, right,

so we see that happening. So it's kind of a it's kind of interesting, you know, to see the chess match that the devil tries to have with God. Obviously, God is all powerful, all knowing, omni president, knows the future of the past. But the devil always tries to do what he can. He tries his best, right, he tries his best, but he can't succeed. But this is another one of his tactics to try to take out the king of kings, the lord of lords, the king

of the Jews, Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah. You'll show with him is Hiach, It says, so they said to him in Bethlehem with Judea. For thus is written by the prophet. But you, Bethlehem and the land of Judah, are not the least among the rulers of Judah. For out of you shall come a ruler who will shepherd

my people Israel. Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared, and he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, go and search carefully for the young child, and when you found him. When you have found him, bring backward to me that I may come and worship him. Also, obviously you know that this is a trick. He ain't trying to worship Jesus. He's trying to kill him because he knows that he

could take his throne. When they heard the king, they departed, and behold the star, which had seen in the east, went before them till it came and stood over the young child where the where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoored with exceedingly joy. So this is a star, right.

Speaker 2

Uh.

Speaker 1

This is why when I talk to you guys about biblical cosmology, there's biblical proof that stars can be angels and planets what you call planets, they're actually called wandering stars in the Greek and in the Book of Jude it talks about them getting judged in eternal darkness forever. The wandering stars are the ones that are doing different rotations than the stars. The other stars are doing the same rotation, the wandering stars are doing different rotations. That's

why they're called wandering stars. And right here you see a star. Uh, that is being used supernaturally, or I would say an angel is what there is what's being used here. That's why you know when there's motion that when there's motion, what does that When something's in motion, that means life. So that's what they believed back then. I you know they believe that stars were angels. You could you could tell when they talk when they talk man in the writing. So I'm not telling you one

hundred percent that stars are angels. I'm not a thousand times. I'm not a thousand percent yet. But in biblical cosmology, I do believe that stars are angels. So at this point, but I mean, I'm not one hundred percent convinced yet because i still have to do more studies. But I'm just letting you know this is obviously an angel because it stops and they you know, like it's doing certain things supernaturally. Right. It says when they saw the star,

they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and fell down and worshiped him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to him gold, frankinsense, and murder. So go old is something that they only brought to kings. Uh. You know, back when King Solomon was ruling, there was so much gold that silver started becoming worthless because there was so much gold. So gold

is something they're going to bring to King. Frankinsense is like It's like something that would spray in the hallways of of of royal, you know, royalty, and you would it would make that the hallways smell good, you know. So we have that. And then Murr is like a bitter herb or something, you know, like a bitter herb. Right, So I think that's you know, gold is is something you know, they bring to royalty. Frankn sense is something

to bring to royalty. Murr is like bitter. So I think that's something that, uh, some people interpret as as because Jesus is gonna have to go through some horrendous things, So that could be why that is brought. That's what some people believe bitterness. Yeah, He's gonna have to go through a lot. Then being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod. They departed from their own country another way, so they knew that if

they go back to Herod. They were obviously divinely told in a dream God or you know, an angel came to them in a dream. Because it says divinely warned. Divine means God warned them or you know, divinely warned. Maybe God send an angel to warn them that they should not return to Herod. So they departed for their own country and went another way. So see if I have any notes on that. Yeah, so now this is

the flight into Egypt. Now, when they had departed, behold an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, arise, take the young child and his mother. Flee to Egypt and stay there until I bring you word, for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night and departed for Egypt and was there until the death of Herod that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, out of Egypt,

I called my son. That prophet was Hoseiah, Okay, and it was eleven to one, and it says when Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. So that's what that is. And it's pretty interesting because Matthew he does this kind of a few times where he now this was talking about Israel or Jacob was a child, or when Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. Well, he's actually connecting this to Jesus

and saying, out of Egypt, I called my son. So he does that a few times, where when you read it in the Old Testament you might not have connected that, but Matthew was connecting it. So obviously it's important. This is Holy Spirit brief, right, So I think that's that's super interesting. So that is why he said I loved him, and out of Egypt that called my son, and that

in that verse massacre of the Innocence. Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry, and he set forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all his districts from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the

wise men. One thing I wanted to bring up. I was in the United States Army before, and I couldn't imagine the soldiers that were under King Herod, especially having to go in and and do this, you know, having to go in and kill all the children that were two years in under that's that is that would be so terrible for you know, as a soldier being told to have to do that. I couldn't imagine being and the these uh were you know, being underhard. Obviously he was.

He was crazy ruler. And it is uh. Some of the people might have had to serve too. I don't know how it worked back then, but man, imagine getting those orders. He'd be scary. So it says, uh, two years old and under to the time he had determined from the wise men, then was fulfilled. That was spoken by Jeremiah, the prophet saying a voice was heard in Ramah lamentation weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted because they are no more. This

is another time that Matthew does that. You know, this is Rachel, Jacob's wife weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted because they are no more. This is this is when you know Rachel was weeping, right, But he's connecting this to you know, fulfilling with the prophet spoken. You know, Jeremiah has spoken, so I think that's interesting that he connects that as well. The home of Nazareth. So one thing about Nazareth, it's like when somebody calls

somebody a Nazarene. It's it's like saying it's kind of like a derogatory term. It's like the same thing when Paul was was around somebody calling someone, you know, a Corinthian, uh, you know, a Nazarene. It's like there was nothing good to come out of Nazarene. That's what's said in in

a little bit later. So it's like he came from a place where, you know, Jesus came from a place, you know, where there wasn't a whole bunch of good people or things coming out of there that were rich and and royalty, and you know, he's just it's just a normal place, you know, but there was a lot of evil there. So I think that's that's interesting that that uh he you know, just a common person. Is

how Jesus came. Now, when Herod was dead, beholding Angel of the Lord, appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, arise, take the young child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young child's life are dead. And then he arose, took the young child and his mother and came into the land

of Israel. And when he heard that Achilles was reigning over Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, and being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee, and he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth. And it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, he shall be called a Nazarene, a riot. So now we have Matthew three. So now we're in Matthew three to one, kind of moving right along pretty quick here, and now

we're going to kind of get into John the Baptists. Okay, so that's that's going to be Matthew verse one, and it says in those days, John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judaea and saying, repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying the voice of the wilderness, the voice of the one crying in the wilderness. Prepare the way of the Lord, make

his pass straight. So I think it's interesting that that John the Baptist, his preaching or his teaching was just repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. He just wanted you to repent for your sins. That was what his baptism was about repenting for your sins, right, So sactification is what it was about. And I want to kind of go over something too. I think i'll

go over it after we get to John's baptism. Part says now, John himself was clothed in camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locust and wild honey. Then Jerusalem, all today and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptized by him, and the Jordan confessing their sins. So a fulfillment of John's baptism prophecy of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is in Acts two, verses two

through four. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues as of fire, and one sat upon each of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them uttering. So we'll read about that right now. It says, But when he saw many of

the pharisees and saddesties come into his baptism. He said to them broad of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath, to come, therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance. And do not think to say to yourself, we have Abraham as our father. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham for those for these stones. And even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which is not fair good fruit is cut down and

thrown into the fire. Indeed, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. But he who is coming after me is mightier than I, who sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with his Holy Spirit and fire. His whino wing fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly clean out his threshing threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, and he will

burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. So as you see in Acts two two through four, that is what that is the prophecy of the baptismal Holy Spirit fulfilled. And that's you know, the Holy Spirit began to speak in tongues, you know, coming over them so also so he will baptize us, you know, us believers, you know, by the Holy Spirit and fire. Right, but also he will burn the chaff with unquenchable fire. So he's talking about non believers will also be burned through the fire

with unquenchable fire. Now what does that mean? Now understand something. When Jesus in Luke sixteen, Jesus is talking about the rich man and Lazareth the poor man, and he's talking about Abraham's bosom, which is in the earth. One side is paradise and the other side is sheal, and Paradise is on one side, and then there's like a chasm

in between them that you cannot get over to. And the rich man ends up on one side, which is like sheel or hell, where there's unquenchable fire, unquenchable thirst. He's able to speak, he's able to hear. He said, you know, he's got the five senses. While he's still in hell and Lazareuth and Abraham are on one side, and he says, Father Abraham, will you please have Lazarus come and put a drip of water on my tongue. He says, you know, we can't go through this chasm.

We can't get over there. You know this is impossible. Father Abraham, will you please go tell my five brothers about this. I don't want I don't want anybody to come down here. I'm just paraphrasing, right. I don't want them to come down here. He says. They have the prophets up there already. And even if someone did come back from the dead, like Jesus did, he rose from the dead, you know that's a prophecy right there, they still would not believe you. See. So I think it's

fascinating when you think about this part. The non believers will burn up in the up the chaff with unquitchable fire. So now we have John baptizes Jesus. Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him, and John tried to prevent him, saying, I need to be baptized by you, and you are coming to me. So John is saying, I'd rather be baptized by you. I can't even lace up your sandals, is

what he says, you know in an earlier verse. But Jesus answered and said to permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allowed him. When he had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were open to him. And he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and a lightning upon him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven saying, this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased. So

God's throne is above the firmament. He's looking down on his son, He's looking down on everyone like grasshoppers. His Holy Spirit descended like a dove. So now you see one body is up here where God's stone is located. Excuse me. Another person is coming down, which is the Holy Spirit, and then Jesus is the third person. So you literally have the trinity right here. I know some

people don't believe in the trinity. Some people believe in oneness, some people believe in unitarian it's all it's okay, it's all good. I ain't trying to debate people on that, saying this is what I see right here. You could say that this is a oneness verse. You could say that this is a Unitarian verse. Whatever you want to say. I believe I see a trinitarian in this verse, because God the Father is in heaven speaking saying, this is

my son, why I'm well please. The Holy Spirit is descending like a dove, so it's actually moving, and it suddenly came from heaven saying this my yeah, and it's descending like a dove, and a lightning upon him, right, so the Holy Spirit upon him. So one thing I think is interesting is that John's baptism was a was a baptism of repentance, where people confess, confess their sins. Well, if you go into one Peter two twenty one through twenty five, it is for to this you were called.

Because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example that you should follow his steps. Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in his mouth, Who when he was reviled, did not revile and return, when he suffered, he did not threaten. So all I want to tell you right there, the most important part is who committed no sin? So Peter is saying that Christ committed no sin, there was no deceit found in his mouth. The Bible says that Jesus was sinless in several passages, as well,

including Hebrews seven twenty six. Jesus was holy, harmless, undefiled, and separate from sinners. Separate from sinners means holy right Tewod Corinthians five twenty one. Paul says that Jesus knew no sin one Peter two twenty two. I already went over that one first. John three five. John says that Jesus appeared in order to take away the sins and him there was no sin. Hebrews four fifteen, the author of Hebrews, says that Jesus was tempted in every way

like humans, but without sin one Peter one nineteen. Peter says that Jesus's blood was like that of a lamb, without a blemish or spot. Jesus had to be the perfect lamb. Okay, I need liquid on that throat. My throat is hurtain. So what was Jesus doing if he didn't have to confess his sins to me? I'm not saying that I'm a theologian and I know him right here. This is what I believe that Jesus. I believe that

Jesus was. I believe that Jesus was kind of giving us a blueprint on a blueprint on what he wants us to do, you know, And Jesus was also he was a man. You know, he is God, but he was a man, right and the people that saw him getting baptized probably didn't even know, you know, they might not they didn't even know that Jesus was who he was gonna be. This is when he before he started his ministry, right so, I think he was just trying to give us a blueprint on what he wants us

to do. And I think that he did this for us to know what we need to do, right So, I think that's why he did this. I think that's uh, you know, I think that's that's I believe that's what he was doing. He didn't need to repent for his sins, that's for sure, right So, and that whole thing right there is just a beautiful vision of God. Now, if God was trillions upon trains upon trillions of miles away, like the heliocentric models trying to say, then that would

probably be hard for you to hear his voice. But it sounds like God is close above the fermament, looking down on us, saying, this is my son, who I am well pleased. Whether you believe in a globe, or you believe in h you know, or a flat earth, biblical cosmology, you know, just think about it. God is obviously close, right, He's not far away, He's not trains upon trains of miles away. He's obviously close right. So he's his thrown is above the firmament. That's what the

Bible talks about. That's what it says. Now we're gonna get into Matthew four, verse one, and this is gonna be satan when he tempts Jesus. Okay, then Jesus was led up by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights afterward, he was hungry. Now, when the tempter came to him, he said, if you are the son of God, commanded these stones to become bred, the tempter being the enemy, right, the adversary, right, So

the devil. So one thing I want to point out here is he fasted for forty days and forty nights. Some of us it's hard to I mean including myself. I mean, I left weights. I'm always a very active person, and it's very hard for me to fast for forty eight hours, much less forty days. So Jesus was just on another level same thing as Moses. Moses fastest for forty days as well. That must have been crazy. He

was probably starving. And you see that the tempter came to him and said, if you are the son of God. And this part that says if you are the son of God, if you look at it in the Greek, that actually means since you are the son of God. Right, so they said, if you are the son of God, as if it's a question, but really means, since you are the son of God, command these stones to become bred.

And what does Jesus do? But he answered and said, it is written man should not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. So what do we see here? You see that he's being tempted by the devil, and we see that Jesus is using the word of God against him as his spiritual sword, double ed sword. That's what the word of God is supposed to be used for the devil tempts.

You use the word of God against him. And you see that Jesus has given us a prime example of how to deal with spiritual warfare, and what does he get? What is he asking him command? With your command these stones to become bred. Right those stones are probably looking like a loaf of bread right now because he is starving, you know, so you can tell man like man, the devil waits until you are tired, till you are hungry, till you are angry, till you are at your last

bit for him to come and tempt you. And everybody has these hot buttons that Satan knows to try to attempt you with. You know, he's not going to attempt to tempt you with something that he knows that you're not going to be tempted by. He's gonna tempt you with something that he knows he can get you with. So you've got to make sure that you start building your spiritual armor. You need that shield of faith. You need to build that shield as big as you can

get it. And you know how you build faith. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. That's how you build faith. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So the more you listen to this podcast, the more faith you're going to be built. Because I'm going to be reading the Word of God to you, not saying that it's coming from me. It's coming from God, and it's coming from the Word. But this is how you build faith by hearing the

word of God. So your faith is your shield, right, you need to have that shield. The word of God is your sword. That's your offensive weapon. You have a breastplate of righteousness, helmet of salvation, a belt of truth. And you also have your sandals of the you know, the gospel, Gospel sandals right walking with the Gospel. So this is really important that you understand that this is Jesus showing you what he does in spiritual war, fear, even at his weakest point, you know. So then the devil.

Then the devil took him up to the Holy City, set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, if you are the son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written. Like I said in the Greek, I mean, since you are the son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written. He shall give his angels charge over you. Whoa Now we have Satan using scripture against Jesus, and I think that's in the book of Psalms and in their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against a stone.

Jesus said to him, it is written again, you shall not tempt the Lord your God. So he is using the word of God against the devil, and the devil is trying to use scripture to influence his mind. Like wow, Now you know, even though somebody tries to come up to you and starts using scripture, they're not always on the up and up. So make sure that you test

the spirit. That's why Paul says that. So some people can come out to you and spit all these different Bible verses from you, but then there might be I'm no offense to Mormons. I'm not trying to, but let's say they're Mormons and they know Bible verses and they try to suck you in and then boom, they start ending with the Book of Mormon. You know what I mean.

So just letting you know that Satan can come like an angel of light and start giving you Bible verses, but you could actually be temp be tempted by the devil at that point. So Jesus said to him, it is written, you shall not tempt the Lord your God. Right And then here's the other part, which is fascinating

as well. Again, the devil took him up to an exceedingly high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and he said to him, all these things I will give you if you fall down and worship me. So now he gets to the point of what he really wants. He really wants that worship. And as you could see, it's all about that pride. You know, he wants that worship. And you see that he also how could it even be a temptation if

these kingdoms were not his? See back when Eve and Adam, Adam and Eve sinned, there was a grant deed of the earth that Adam had, and when he sinned, he handed that grant deed to Satan. So Satan started ruling over these kingdoms of the world and their glory. He was trying to show Jesus like, hey, these are my kingdoms, and you don't have to go to the cross. I will let you bypass the cross, and I will give you all these kingdoms without you having to do that.

But what happened then Jesus said to him, away with you, Satan, for it is written you shall worship the Lord your God, and him only you shall serve. So understand, guys. First of all, I think it's fascinating that the kingdoms are Satan's right. You see that the world is Satan's kingdoms. Right. He is the prince of the air. And for him to give him this temptation, he had to have had these kingdoms. They had to have been his right. You

can see that. So now then Jesus said to him, away from you, Satan is written, you shall worship the Lord your God, and him only you shall serve, once again, hitting him with scripture three temptations, lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride. That's the three right, so you have and the devil left him, and behold, the angels came and ministered to him. So Jesus was I mean, obviously, he was exhausted, he was hungry, he

was in a very terrible spot. And the angels knew they had to sit back and wait and let this temptation happen. Right, And then the angels came and ministered to him and probably brought up his spirit and helped him. And it's and in that instant, but you see that God Uh. You know, Jesus was tempted, just like we are, and he didn't give in. And what did he do. He used the word of God against him. Resist the devil and he shall flee. That's James what five to seven?

I think? Excuse me, I believe that's Uh. Resist the devil and he will flee. James four to seven. Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil and he will flee. Jesus was resisting him, and he will flee. Even though Jesus was at his first point, it was hungry, he was probably thirsty, he was exhausted. Satan came and tempted him, and Jesus prevailed. He resisted the devil, and the devil

left him. You see that, That's all it takes. And we need to understand that, and we need to have a game plan set up when the devil's gonna tempt you, and understand that. If you have a problem with alcohol, stay out of the bars, stay away from the family barbecues, stay away from anywhere that's gonna have alcohol around for a while until you get straight with the Lord. I'm

just letting you know. If you have a problem with pornography, stay off of Instagram and stay off of TikTok, and stay off of certain things that are gonna gonna try to tempt you because there's an algorithm and you've probably click certain things. So what happens is it brings it up and it causes you to go step and then another step, and then you're looking up butts and then

you're looking up porn. Let's say, if you have a drug addiction, you need to erase all the phone numbers of all of your hookups for whatever drug that you're into. Erase them, change your phone number, stay out of the area that that person is. There's gonna be things that that tempt you. Triggers is what they're called. And the triggers are you going through your contacts and seeing that name of that person that you call for those drugs.

That's a trigger. There's certain things that are gonna are gonna happen. The devil, he knows it. Now. If you have an opportunity, which is very hard when people are addicted to drugs, to leave that area and move, that is probably the best thing for you. Move, change your phone number and just get away. If you have a problem with women, right some kind of addiction to sex or something or adultery or all that you need to you know, you need to resist the devil. He will flee. Joseph,

what did he do? The woman came on to him and he ran, He fleed, he took off. You got to run. I'm just kind of giving you guys. You guys understanding that you got to have a game plan. If you have some type of thing that the devil knows is your temptation, you need to have a game plan beforehand. You know, when you go into a baseball game, a football game, you go into any type of sports, what happens the coach he has a master plan for that game. And sometimes that plan doesn't work. And that's

not going to work for the devil every time. But you need to have a plan when something pops up that that triggers you. You need to know that you need to resist. In Jesus's name, I rebuke this whatever it is, you know, I rebuke this pornography. I rebuke this devil worship. I rebuke this sorcery. I rebuke this witchcraft. I rebuke this in Yasue of the Mischiak's name, you know, you've got to have some kind of plan, and you got to have versus prepared for when you go through

those temptations. In Ephesians six, verse twelve. I'll go over that really quick my memory. I know's we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but principalities of evil. Let's look that up real quick, because since we're kind of in the spiritual warfare thing. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be

able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but principalities, against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places, in the King and says high places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you be may be able to withstand in the evil day. And having done all to stand so I already went over the exact

you know what. The armor is, girded with your waste of truth, having put the breastplate of righteousness, having shot your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, above all, taking the shield of faith with you, which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation to protect your brain. Protect your dome is from metal podcasts as protect your dome. And the sword of the Spirit, which is in the Word of God, which is the

Word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to this end, with all perseverance of supplication for all the saints and for me, the utterance may be given to me that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel for which I am an ambassador in chains that in it I will speak boldly as I ought to speak. So understand that prayer, praying in the spirit. Prayer is also our offensive weapon, and the Word of

God is the sword that's our offensive weapon. Faith the shield is our defensive weapon. And all this other armor that you can put on, which I already went over. So understand that spiritual battles are real. There's I mean, people keep thinking about the physical so much. I have bills, I have this, I have that, I have this, I have that. Well, Jesus is telling you right here with these temptations, especially the bread like, man should not live on bread and lode, but word of God, like, do

you understand what he's saying. He's saying that bread. Yeah, it's important to feed your body, but the most important thing is the spiritual, not the physical. And that's what he's reminding the death. I'm not, hey, you know what, The physical is not important to me. The Word of God is the spiritual. That's what he's telling the devil right here, that's what he comes with. That's why he says, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every

word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Showing you that the physical man shall not live by bread alone is not as important as the spiritual. That's why God, that's why he says that. And then you shall not tempt the Lord your God is what the other one is. And then away from you, away with you, Satan, for it is written you shall worship the Lord your God, and him only you shall serve. Later on, I'll show you that it says you can only worship one master,

one master. That's it. You can either worship God or the God of manner, or the God of money or I would say that is Satan. Right, So you can either worship even if you you might not even know it. You might not even know it, but you are not worshiping God, then you are worshiping or the God of Mana. Right, So let's continue here. So yeah, that's kind of just to prepare you guys for battle spiritual warfare. I just want to make sure that you guys are aware of

that and understand. You know, there's a man so much out there. It's so easy right now to get caught up in spiritual warfare and so easy to get caught up and you know these types of vices. Because the phone is right here in your hand, you can easily google whatever you want, you know what I mean. So there is a lot of spiritual warfare happening from the devil in certain ways, and I just want you guys to be prepared for the battle. This is the type

of stuff that we need to get into. That's why the Old Testament is good to get into, and the New Testament is getting into. So you know about spiritual warfare and the battles and the demons and stuff like that that Jesus is casting out. So and the devil knew that he was the son of God. Okay, that's why he says, since you're the son of God in the Greek right, So all right, so let's uh check out. This is gonna be Matthew four. We're going to be

at verse twelve. Now, when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he departed to Galilee, and leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernium, which is by the sea, and the reigns of Zebylon and Naphtali, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Isaiah the Prophet, saying, the land of Zebelon and the land of Nephtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan Galilee of the Gentiles. The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the

region and shadow of death, light has dawned. Excuse me. And from that time Jesus spoke, began to preach and say repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Four fishermen called as disciples, and Jesus walked. Jesus walked, this is a on call. Give me one. Sorry about that. Yep I had to take a quick on call phone call. I will. I am going to get back to the word. Yep, here we go. So yeah, for Wednesday service. I'm gonna be recording on Sunday night, which I am on call

from my work. So apologize I got that call. But anyways, no worries. Four fishermen called this Disciples and Jesus. Walking by the sea of Galley, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and Andrewa's brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. Then he said to them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Then immediately

they immediately left their nets and followed him. Going on from there, he saw two brothers, James, the son of Zebedee, and John, his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them and immediately left the boat and their father and followed him. So follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. He wants you to fish for men to save souls. He wants you to assist God in helping God save souls. Jesus

heals a great multitude. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then his fame went throughout all Syria, and they brought to him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon possessed, epileptics and paralytics, and he healed them. Great multitudes followed him from Galilee and from the Apocalypse Jerusalem,

Judea and beyond the Jordan. So he was teaching in the synagogues. He was preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness, right, So he was healing all types of diseases. So I think it's kind of interesting that if you look what Elon Musk is trying to do with his excuse me, his brain implant. I don't know why it's slipping my mind right now, but what is it called? Oh, my goodness, Lelon Musk.

H.

Speaker 1

Eurolink, thank you, jeez. My mind is yeah. I worked all day to day, so man, I'm tired today. I had a lot going on, but it's all good. And I got little cold going so my mind is a little rusty. But anyways, so the neuralink, right, So, I think it's fascinating that he is trying to create the neuralink to do what to heal the blind, heal the death, and he's trying to also help paraplegic people. He's trying

to make it so that they can walk again. It's almost like he's trying to mock Jesus and the healing that Jesus did. And I think the neuralink, I'm not trying to get off subject here, off topic. I'm just trying to let you know that it's fascinating that he his neuralink, is trying to do that. But yeah, we'll get back to the word. But I just think it's fascinating. Now it says various diseases and torments and those who

were demon possessed. So I think some people some of these diseases were caused by people being demon possessed, some of them, not all of them, some of them, right. So I think that, uh, that's something that people need to understand nowadays because a lot of doctors and psychologists. I mean, if you ask the psychologist how many people have you healed in your life? Psychologists would probably tell

you a zero. They're they're not healing people. Psychologists. They're just there to give you medicine to make you feel better, and that's it. They're not healing anybody. Because I think a lot of them maybe could some of them might

might have a demon. I see people walking around town in rialto you know, when I when I'm you know, I used to do valves and I would I would just I would just meet people that walk around and they would be I could tell that they have some I mean, I would just feel this presence about them and they wouldn't want to speak to me. They would just walk by, you know, just they were they were homeless. But hey, I pray for them. And I'm not saying

all homeless people or abdemons. I'm just saying that some of them I felt this that they might have something like that, you know. So all right, So we're at Matthew five now, and this is the beatitudes and seeing the multitudes. He went up on a mountain, and when he was seated, his disciples came to him. Then he opened his mouth and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom, and for Theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn,

for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the peer and heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness, for theirs

is the kingdom of heaven. So blessed are you when you revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake, Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. Or they persecuted the prophets who were before you, so you see that you were gonna be You know, some people believe that when you get saved, that everything's easy from there. You know, your life is gonna be blessed. You're gonna be profiting, You're gonna have money, You're gonna have, oh,

everything that you thought you were gonna have. But when you get saved, that's when the battle first begins and you know you will definitely be persecuted. I mean, I'm a Christian, I'm a Christian rapper. I don't run a rap anymore because this podcast takes up so much of my time. But I have definitely been persecuted, you know when when you I've debated people that were atheists and

in their comments section, I'm being persecuted. So being a Christian, that's when the battle begins as soon as you get saved, because you think the devil is like cool, you're saved, Now have a good day. I'm going to go onto the non saved and try to you know, even though those people that aren't saved, that are atheists that don't care about God, the devil doesn't. He already did his job. He's like, cool, have a good day. You know, you're

already not believing in God. You're already going to hell at this point. So I'm going to go and try to get the people that are saved. He would like you to stumble. He wants to make you stumble, and he wants you to make you sin. You see. So so man, Jesus is just just just powerful words that he's speaking here. You know you are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses his flavor, or how shall it be seasoned, it is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket. But on a lampstand it gives light to all those who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that you shall see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. We need to be the salt of the earth, a man, and the light of the world. Okay, So christ fulfills the law. So do not think that I came to destroy the law or

the prophets. I do not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For assuredly I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till it is fulfilled. Who whoever therefore breaks one of the less least of these commandments and teaches men soul shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

For I say to you that unless your righteousness succeeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not, by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven. So if you break one of these commandments, it's like breaking them all. And that's what it says, and James actually says that as well. So we need to understand that. So that's why we need Jesus, because we cannot we cannot hold to the laws, we cannot hold to the commandments, the Ten Commandments. We need Jesus, right, that's why he is

here to fulfill the law. Now, does that mean that it's okay for us to just go and sin? And you know, we're say by grace through faith, not by words, right, So no manchill boasts, right, For is the gift of God, not of yourself, So that no man that shall boast. Yes Ephesians two eight. Of course we're saved by grace through faith, But that doesn't mean that we have a past to go and sin and do whatever we want. We still need to make sure that we're following the commandments.

And we're discipling for Jesus, right, We're discipling for God. And yeah, we need to make sure we're doing that and that's that is important, you know, as a disciple. So yeah, anyways, we are saved by grace through faith. So yeah, we're saved by by faith in Jesus. But we also need to understand that we need to have obedience, right, we need to have obedience. We need to pray for obedience. So all right, so murder begins in the heart, excuse me.

So something we need to understand is like when you covet your neighbor, right, when you covet your neighbor's stuff, like, you shall not covet your neighbor's you know, cars, women, wife, I mean, or whatever. You know, that's a thought. So that thought is a sin. So this is kind of what Jesus is gonna point towards here. He says, you have heard that it was said to those of old you shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in

danger of the judgment. But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause, excuse me, without a cause, shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother raca shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says you fool shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar and there remember that your brother was something against you, your brother has something against you. Leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way.

First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer you your gift. Agree with your adversary quickly while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge. The judge hand you over to the officer, and you shall be thrown into prison. Surely, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny. So you need to understand that we need to not

have ah. We need to make sure that we reconcile with our brothers and sisters, and we make sure that we we we don't make adversaries, we don't make enemies, you know. And and if you're trying to uh talk bad or slander somebody, it's the you know. It's basically it says you fool, you shall be in danger of health fires, So we got to make sure that we be careful of that. Right. We don't need to be angry with our brothers and sisters. We don't need to

be angry at people. We need to forgive. Right, It's it's something that that man, it's like it's I know it's hard for some people to understand, but you know, you might have family members that did something to you, or you might have a brother or sister in Christ that did something to you where you don't want to forgive, but you don't want to hold that poison. That's what it is when you when you unforgive, you know it's poison. So murder begins in the heart, and then our next

one we're gonna go over. Matthew five twenty seven is adultery in the heart. You have heard that it is said to those of old you shall not commit adultery. But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to less what there has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you des sind, pluck it out and cast it from you, For it is more profitable for you that one of your members parish than for your whole body to be

cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you descind, cut it off, cast it from you, for it is more profitable for one of the members of Paris than for your whole body to be cast into hell. So he is saying that if you think about committing adultry, then you already have committed adultery. This is another thought sin.

So that is why pornography is so dangerous to Christians, because you are not only are you covening somebody's wife, because some of those women are married, but you're also thinking of committing adultery with this person in the act of you know, masturbation, you know, so understand that it is so if your right eye causes you to sin, So like, if your cell phone castes you to sin, then toss it out. You're better off going to heaven by yourself than bringing your cell phone with you, you know,

or or you know whatever. That's kind of like the thing here, like what is causing you to sin, Pluck it out and cast it from you, you know, So whatever it is, you know, but that's why. And then also the people that are actually doing that type of thing, you know, pornography, they're also causing their Christian brothers to stumble, so they are in sin totally as well, you know. So, so that's what's interesting is Jesus is saying that if

you think it, then you've already committed it. So Jesus is like, that's why we need Jesus so bad, because man, there's so many people that you know, they walk by a woman and they look at her one look, hey, that's okay. But when you look back again and then you start having this lust in your mind that is lusting after a woman, then that is Jesus is saying, then that is committing adultery. So this is serious stuff.

Marriage is sacred and binding. Furthermore, it has been said, whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce. But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery. Whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery. How many people are getting divorced nowadays in America? Jeez, I think it's like fifty percent of marriages don't last. So marriage is sacred and it is binding. You're making

it covenant with God. So this is so important, you know. So Jesus is saying that whoever divorces his wife for any reason, accept sexual immorality. So if if the woman or the man is doing sexual immorality, and then you know, then basically he is saying for any reason except that. So if you have a woman that doesn't like to clean and cook, you can't divorce her for that. Okay, if she is a her personality is like, well, she's you know, she talks a lot of mess to you,

you know, puts you down. He's saying that that's not you know, you should have never gotten into that binding, sacred marriage in the first place. It's still binding. As long as she's not doing sexual morality, then you can't just divorce her. But you see that people are divorcing people left and right as if the marriage is not sacred and it's not binding. And as you see, the devil is trying to make marriage less and less sacred. He is trying to open it up for trans LBGT,

gaze all this other stuff. Right, So obviously you know, I'm just saying biblically that's not correct. Secular that's different. But biblically. I'm gonna tell you I have to be honest. It's not correct for that to happen. Marriage is sacred and it's binding between a man and a woman. Just letting you know, right, we already know that, So you guys don't need to beat a dead horse. So all right, So Jesus forbids oaths again. You have heard it was said to you of old, you shall not falsely, but

shall perform your oaths to the Lord. But I say to you, do not swear at all, neither by Heaven, for it is God's throne, nor by earth, for it is his footstool, nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. Nor should you swear your hand your head, because you cannot make your hair white or black. But you're yes, be yes. But let your yes be yes, and you're no no. For whatever is

more than these is from the evil One. So this is why I try to tell people not to get into secret societies and not to do because they're swearing oaths. Don't put your hand on the Bible and swear an oath. Don't do that because you know you cannot keep these oaths. You could try to make an oath and you could die tomorrow and you can't fulfill that oath. It's like let your yeses be yes and your nose be no.

That's it. So when they try to have you in court and they're like, put your hand on the Bible, say I you know, I don't swear by anything. I'll let my yeses be yes, my nose be no. That's what Jesus says. He forbids you to do oaths. That's why in Freemasonry and these secret societies, for you to enter you have to do an oath. When you go into the Skull and Bones, you have to do rituals.

To end up getting into these these secret societies, it is because you are swearing falsely and performing oaths not to the Lord, but you're performing oaths to who. Well, I'll tell you what it is to Satan, bro to the devil. That's who it is to you know, the the god of this world, uh, you know is not.

That's that's why when you see the Great Argue, we already know when you get into when you start studying freemasonry and all these secret societies, you know who the architect of you know, their their their little g God, I would say, is, and it's not. You know that, it's not God of the Bible, right, it's Lucifer, right, that is the light bearer that they are worshiping. So that's why I tell people not to swear oaths. Not to you know, you can't do that. You know you

can't get into that. And I am guilty myself. I swore an oath to the United States Military. This is me not even thinking about it. I just raised my right hand and I and I did an oath, you know.

And also like there's little weird little things that happened in the military when you get through boot camp and you once you get done with boot camp in your in your you know, basically you do your last twelve mile rock march, you are you get putting this little weird I would say, like a ritual to earn your bereat. There's little things in the military that are like that. It's it's really strange that I noticed Jesus forbids oaths. Remember that Christians remember that this one says, go the

second mile. That's the title you have heard. It is said an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. But I tell you not to resist an but I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on the right cheek, turn the other to him. Also, if anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him too. Give him who asks you, and from who wants to borrow from you, do not turn away. So

Jesus is so graceful and so amazing. This is a blueprint for how we should live. If everybody on earth lived like Jesus lived, then there would there would be no chaos, there would be no war. Everything would be copoesthetic and would be amazing and would be beautiful, and

we would be taking care of one another. We wouldn't be having people with snakes trying to stab people on the back, trying to have people to borrow money on interest, and wars and pestilence and all this different stuff that happens. Like you see how Jesus is such a beautiful, graceful person. He wants you to be a certain way to one another. That you see that we have lost that, I mean,

we have lost that totally. You go to this if you go to a gas station right now, and I always do this, I'm like, hey, how you doing today, you know, or just be nice to people. How's it going man? You know, and they're they're like surprised, like whoa, who's this person? We're supposed to be like that. We're supposed to be the salt of this world, the light of this world. How are you going to be that by sitting there just being all mad all day? Now?

You need to be you know, happy, uplifting and talking to people. But I just want to let you guys know he is Jesus is so graceful and beautiful, the way his personality was so beautiful. Love your enemies. You have heard it. It was said you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, Bless those who curse you, Do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you you may

be sons of your Father in heaven. For he makes his son rise on the evil and on good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you do not. Even the tax collectors do the same. And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do. So therefore you shall be perfect, just as the Father in Heaven is perfect. So interesting that Jesus uses the

tax collector thing. And this is in the Book of Matthew, because Matthew was a tax collector. Right, excuse me, So love your enemies. You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. No, see that Jesus says. No, you shall love your enemies, Bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. So, if somebody is persecuting you, somebody hates you. Somebody can't stand the fact

you're Christian. Someone can't stand the fact that you got that promotion. Someone can't stand the fact that you know you have a whatever, you need to pray for them if you have an enemy, but you shouldn't. You gotta let it go. You gotta let it go, You gotta forgive, you gotta love you know it's it's it's it's hard for people to do this, I know, But it's like love those who love you. Yeah, that's you know, that's easy. That's what Jesus is saying here. Yeah, oh, you love

those who love you. Anybody does that, Even the Pagans do that. Even the devil worshipers love their mom. Their mom loves them. But love though. But see, it takes a different level of when you when you're loving your enemies, you know what I mean, That's what Christians are supposed to do. We're supposed to love our enemies. We're supposed to pray for those who try to persecute you and use you. Right, and when somebody uses you, uh, it's it is a terrible feeling, but forgive and pray for them.

If someone persecutes you, it's a terrible feeling. Someone starts putting you down, you know. You know, I have people in the comment section sometimes and they yeah, you're this, you're that, you're you know, you're whatever. And sometimes it's it's hard not to get involved in that that, you know, that back and forth. But I try to be graceful with them, and and you know, I think it's it's it's very important, you know. And obviously I'm guilty of this too, and we all are, but just we need

to try to. Jesus is given us a blueprint of exactly how we should be. And I will tell you that your reward is way greater when you were, when you were nice to people. When you treat people with respect and you treat people with love, your reward like your your your gratification inside, besides your you know, you're heavenly reward that God will give you. I'm just saying that you feel so much better as a person than if you got one over on somebody out of spite,

or if you use somebody or you persecuted somebody. Oh yeah, that person is that I got over on him. Ah Oh, you think that that's good. But you know that's that's that's vinegar, that's that's that's that's poison. That's that you're you're trying to loathe. Then you know, all right, we're in Matthew six. Now this is Matthew six to one. Do good to please God. Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from the Father

in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets. That they may have glory from men, surely I say to you that they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. That your charitable deed maybe in secret, and your father, who sees in secret, will him self

reward you openly, so you understand that. You know, they got these philanthropists that go on stage and say I donated forty million dollars to the homeless, and everybody cheers. That cheer, right there is your reward. But when you do it in secret, you know, you don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. And

it's hard. You know. One thing that's hard for me is like my wife, you know, like am I supposed to let my wife know I if I give somebody some money because the money is ours, right, it's not just mine. Like that's kind of the hard part for me. Like when I do certain things, you know, I'm trying to keep it a secret, you know, but it's like are you supposed to not? Yeah, it says right there, do not let your left know what your hand is doing.

So you are doing charitable things, keep it in secret, so your father, who sees it and seeking himself, will reward you openly. So that's how you get your reward. If you're trying to get glory from men, that'll be your reward, your physical reward here. But if you are trying to do it for God and you don't care about glory for men, that's when you get rewarded from heaven and from the Father who sees it and seeking himself, will reward you openly. So you just do what you do,

slide through, you know, do what you do. You know, like be charitable, do your deed to the homeless or whatever you do, and then you just keep going, keep it moving, do it, keep it moving, and then God will see that and he will reward you openly. You don't do it to get the reward though, that's not what you're doing it for. And you don't do it to get men's gratification. That's not why you do it. Oh today, dude, I'll give you like fifteen bucks to

this home this guy. Oh man, that's so awesome. Bro, you're so great. Oh yeah, I know. See that's not what you do, it's all glory to God, and you try to not let people know what you're doing it. So it's definitely understandable and it's great. But all right, the model rare. And when you pray, you should not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners on the streets, and they may have seen that they may be seen

by men. Assuredly, I say to you that they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, when you have shut your door, pray to your father, who is is in this secret place. And your father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetition as the heathens do, for they think they have what they heard for their many words. Therefore, do not be like them. For your

father knows the things you need. You have need before you ask him in this matter, before you pray, so before we get into the Lord's prayer. So it's what's in your heart. Right. So if you were, if you're praying on the corner for people to be seen, then and you want people to think that you're holy by doing those prayers, then then that's obviously bad, you know, like it's it's then you get your reward right there.

But if you go and you pray in secret, you like, you don't want to pray to God just for people to see you so that people think you're holy. That that's not the way it works. You know, you want to pray to God. You want to have a relationship with God, not a religion, but a relationship. Right, So you want to be praying to God in secret. You want to be praying to God, and you don't want to be doing vain repetitions that the heathn't like. You don't want to keep saying the same prayer all the time,

you know, repeating it, repeating it, repeating. I do see some churches that do that, and you know, I do see some people that do that, and I think it's it's not good. You want to talk to God and be precise, and you want to speak to God, I think with obviously with respect. But it says for they think they may be heard for their many words. Yeah, so yeah, and you know what, I do pray at the end of this podcast, but I'm not praying to be holy. I'm just praying to you know, close up

the show and to pray for you guys. That's really what I'm trying to do. So therefore, so it says, therefore, do not be like them, for your Father knows the things you need before you ask him in this manner. Therefore, pray so, Oh Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, hallowed being holy. That's what it means. Your kingdom Come, you will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive our debts, and forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever a men. So yeah, Jesus is just telling us how we should pray. Holy be your name, right, your kingdom Come, you will be done on earth as it is in heaven. What I think is interesting is do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Right, So you have to ask God not to deliver us into temptation, like, do not lead us into temptation. You know, God doesn't

tempt us, He tests us. So you just want to ask him to not lead us into temptation. Like help me to not walk into temptation. Deliver me from evil. For if you forgive men their truspasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their truspassors, neither will your Father forgive your truspasses. So you can't sit here and ask for forgiveness for

your sins. Please forgive me, Lord, forgive me, Lord, But you are not forgiving your fellow man, or your brother, or your sister, or your mom, or your wife or your kids. You know your children. You have to forgive men their truspasses like the Father will also forgive you. So don't expect God to forgive you when you can't even forgive your son, or can't even forgive your daughter, or can't even forgive your wife, or whatever it may be. Just Jesus is laying it down, you know, Jesus is

laying it down right here. So fasting to be seen only by God. Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites with a sad countenance, for they disfigure their faces and they may appear to be fasting. As surely I say to you that you that they have their reward, but you when you fast, annoint your head and wash your face so that you do not appear to men by fasting to be fasting, but to your father who is in the secret place, and your father,

who sees in secret, will reward you open them. And yeah, I would have to admit that this is difficult because as soon as like for me, like when I'm sick, like I admitted to you guys, I'm sick right now, like you know, it's for me. It's like it's something that I don't know why, but it comes naturally from me to when I have some type of weakness going at that moment, for me to express it and to speak and say that I'm going through that. So for me,

it's hard to do that. And I'm just gonna admit it straight out, and I know that it's wrong, you know. But if I was fasting, I know that I would probably for some reason want to speak out and say that I'm hungry, or maybe my personality would be different when I went to work, right, So then I would tell people, hey, I want to diet, so that they know, like this is why this guy's not active. The same you know, I feel like I have to announce it, but God is saying, do not do that. Do not

do that. And it's something that for me is difficult, something I need to work on. I don't know about for you guys. But I wear my heart on my sleeve, so when something is wrong, I always want to express it, you know, and God is saying, don't do that. Keep it between you and God. The fasting, and you don't want to like brag the people that you're fasting, right, lay up treasures in heaven. Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, or moth and rust destroy and

where thieves break in and steal. But lay up yourself's treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust destroys, where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is there, your heart will also be will be also. So you can't bring a hearse with you, or you can't bring a U haul with you into heaven. You know, when you die, you're not going to be trailing a U haul with all your stuff. And like, oo, I get to die with all my stuff. That's now what happens.

I mean, you see it, Oh my gosh. Like I know family members that they work their whole entire lives and they bought a house and they have a life insurance and then you know, somebody passes away. You know that the person passes away, and then the wife gets all the stuff and in the house and they pay off the house and it's paid off. Now you know, you don't get to keep that stuff. You might think that the most important thing is what you own here on earth, but really it's not. You know, it's like

your house, your children, your wife, your job, everything is important. Yeah, your bank account, Yeah that's it's important for the physical. But the number one thing is God. You know, your your relationship with God, your You're the kingdom of Heaven. That's the number one thing. It's not about the bills, the job, the wife, the kids. You need to put God first, Seek God first, and everything else will follow.

You know, you gotta know that. It's it's telling you that everything you have on earth is gonna rust destroy, where thieves break in and steal. And then you know, another thing I think it's fascinating is one hundred years from now. Right now I'm forty one. One hundred years from now, someone else is going to be living in this house. Someone else is going to be enjoying this place that I live in now, because I will be gone unless the rapture happens or something like that, you

know what I mean. If the rapture is going to happen like that, unless Jesus comes back and to get called up to heaven, that's different. I mean, I still wouldn't be living in this house anyway. But yeah, just letting you know, one hundred years from now, I will be gone. We need to make do with the time that we have. And what do we make do? What do we need to do. We need to read the word of God, get close to God and make sure

that the Kingdom of God is placed first. Now, obviously, to live this physical life, we need the other stuff. We need that job, we need the bank account, we need to pay bills, we need to do all that. Yes, but if we put God first and understand that everything we have, we give glory to the Father for everything we have, and every time we have something, whether it's a bill or it's money in the bank, we were thanking God like, thank you God. I appreciate this house.

I appreciate this you know. So I just think that we need to understand that. Especially during that time, Jesus was asking these disciples to drop everything they had going and follow me. That's what he was saying. The lamp of the body, the lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body is full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness?

So it's like if you have a cup of water and you put a couple of drops of poison in it, it can kill you. Right. So even though this water is full and there's only a couple of drops of poison, that poison is still in the water. It becomes bad. So even a little bit of evil can make your whole body fill fill the darkness. So whatever you have that is causing that problem, like, find out what it is, make a game plan, and get rid of that evil. Whatever you got to do, you know, get rid of

that evil. Make sure that you pray, make sure that you have a game plan for when that temptation comes. Here's the verse I was talking about earlier. No one can serve two masters. For either he will you will he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be low to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon. Right, you cannot serve God and Mammon. Mammon is money, the God of money.

It's gonna be the devil Satan. Okay, So you can only serve one master, and God wants you to hate the other, right, he wants you to hate the other. He doesn't want you to. He wants you to love him and hate the other. So when sin comes about, he wants you to despise it and hate it. He doesn't want you to embrace it and love it. Because you can't serve God and serve sin at the same time. Okay, you can only serve God. So what happens when you sin and you love that sin, You separate yourself from

God and you are serving Mammon, the devil. Right, That's what's happening. So we have to try to do our best to start being obedient, and then we will not be serving Mammon or the God of money or the devil. All right, we want to serve God. Do not worry. Therefore, I say to you. Do not worry about your life, what will you eat, or what you will drink, nor about your body what you will put on is not life more than food, and body more than clothing. Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow,

nor reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more value than they? Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? So the birds they ain't got they don't have a barn or where they're you know, taking all this food and placing it in a barn, and then you know, placing it taking all this more food and put it in a barn. No, they don't have that, So they're not gathering their food into barns. No, like we're we are

more value than them. So we need to walk by faith, walk by faith. And all the worry that people have. It's it's like it's not going to add one cubit to your statue. It doesn't. It doesn't add a day for you. Right, life is but a mist right. So if you're worrying about something you can't change anyways, you need to stop doing that. You need to walk by faith.

God will provide. God will provide. Now I would also say that you need to make sure that you're not just like I need a job, so I'm just going to sleep on the couch all day and then never you know, the job's not going to come to you. You need to make sure that you you know, you get up and you work for it. But do not worry. Says what you will eat or drink? Is talking about what's more important. Obviously the heavenly things are more important, and that God is going to feed you and God

is going to take care of you. Right, So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin. And yet I say to you that even Solomon, in his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now, if God so close the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you or you of little faith? Therefore, do not worry saying what shall we eat, what shall

we drink, or what shall we wear? For after all these things, the gentiles seek for your heavenly Father, knows that you need. That you need all these things, But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore, not

worry about tomorrow for tomorrow or worry about its own things. Sufficient, the day is its own trouble, so so do not worry about today, right, I mean, it's it's it's crazy because I know that people they worry about some things. It's called resilience. It's something that I learned in the

United States Army to have resilience. Some people they have this little thing they're worrying about, and then it's snowballs and turns into this big thing, and then when actually the time comes when they have to deal with it, it actually is not even as big as they thought

it was going to be. So they snowballed themselves, and they got their mind rushing and worrying and worrying and worrying about something when they when the thing that they actually had to get confronted with doesn't even end up being as big of a deal. Also, if something happened in the past, right, something happened to you in the past, there's no way you can go back and change the past. The only thing that you could change is the future. Right.

The only thing that you could change is what happens to you in the future and how you handle stuff that's in the future. You can't change what happened in the past. Oh right, So you don't need to dwell on your whole life, you know, worrying or dwelling upon the past. What you need to do is because you can never change that. So if you can never change it, then why worry about it? So we need to make sure that we That is not the what this verse

is talking about. But I'm just telling you that, Okay, But do not worry, right, It's not important the clothes, the food, the drink. What's more important is seeking first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the things will be added to you. Right. So therefore, do not worry about tomorrow. For tomorrow we'll worry about its own, right, So understand that. So that's Matthew six, and we are moving right along. I think we could probably get hold.

I think I might have moved that a little bit over. Let me see how long seven is. Oh, we could do seven. Do not judge, judge, not that you be not judged for with what judgment you judge, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not

consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, let me remove the speck in your eye, and look, a plank is in your own eye, hypocrite, First remove the plank from your own eye. Then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Do not give what is holy to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn and tear you to pieces. So God is the only judge, right, So you need to make sure that you know the way

you judge people is going to be measured to you. Right, It's going to be measured back to you, So God will judge you the same. So if you have something going on and you start judging somebody else, you need to take the plank out of your own eye before you try to take the speck out of your brother's eye. Right. So it's much better, it says hypocrite, like Jesus straight says you hypocrite, like you know, so we're over here trying to judge other people when we have this big

old plank in our own eye. So yeah, we got to make sure that be expected to be judged by the way that a measured by the way that you are judging people. Scary, especially when he says hypocrite, Keep asking, seeking, knocking, Ask if it will be Ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find, Knock and it will be open to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds. To him who knocks, it

will be open. Or what man is there among you who is his son asked for bread, will give him a stone, Or if he asks for a fish, he will give him a serpent. If, then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father, who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him. Therefore, whatever you want men that to do, you do also to them, For

this is the law of the prophets. For whatever you want men to do unto you, do also to them, for this is the law of the prophet So yeah, ask and you shall receive. Right Obviously, whatever is the will of God, you will receive, you know, I want to Mercedes Benz S five thousand, whatever an S six hundred, Mercedes tomorrow, I want it, Okay, Lord, thank you. No man, it's whatever God's will is, obviously, but it's saying he who asks it will be given to you. Seek and

you shall find. So whatever God's will is, obviously, then that's what God will provide you, you know, And anything that you have give glory to the Father. Right, So that's that's what it's saying here. And uh, it's also saying that you know, if you ask your father for bread, would he give you a stone? It's like, dude, that's your earthly father. Can you imagine your heavenly father what he would do for you. He loves you more that a gope. Love is way more. So seek right, seek,

knock the door shall be open. And yeah, when you knock, he'll kick the door open and he'll help you. The narrow way enter by the narrow gate. For wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it, because narrow is the gate, and difficult is the way which leads to life. And there are a few who find it, So enter the narrow gate. For wide is the gate,

and broad is the way that leads to destruction. So the so wide is the gate that leads to destruction. So that's where most people go. Narrow is the gate, and difficult is the way which leads to life. So it is difficult. It's a difficult path. What I told you is when you get saved, it's not easy. It's not prosper money, riches, fame. No, it is difficult because

you are in a spiritual battle. You are fighting to be obedient, and your flesh wants you to do what it wants you to do, and your spirit wants you to follow God. So your flesh is like a pit bull sometimes and your spirit's like a little cocker spaniel. Your flesh is like no, no, no, no, no, you're not reading the Bible. You're not going to get up, you're not going to be disciplined, you're not going to be this. And your little spirit, because you never read

the Bible, is just getting attacked by the flesh. You need to make that spirit the pit bull and your flesh the cocker spaniel. And the way you make that spirit the pit bull and the flesh the cocker spaniel is by reading the Word of God, studying the scriptures, by getting relationship with the Lord. Right, So that is how you do that. And you let that spirit be in control and walk in the spirit. We got one more verse right here before we end, and man, we

are moving. Oh wait, sorry, a few more verses. You will know them by their fruits. Beware of false prophets who come to you in scheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bristles thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Even so, even a good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear

good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore, by their fruits you will know them. Yes, you gotta beware of false prophets. You will know them by their fruits. Like if they're trying to preach and they're trying to do certain things, Now, what's the fruit? Now what I would ask is like, what's the fruit of big bang. What's the fruit evolution? What's the fruit of you know, science, It's the fruit is atheism. It's like a separation of God.

You see what I mean. That's just an example. Okay, So you know them by their fruits? So is it producing good fruit? Whatever you're doing, is your ministry producing good fruit? Like some people that listen to my show or you know, hopefully, like I know that good fruit is coming because you know what happens. To be honest, there's some people that come on my show for the first time and they end up becoming podcasters themselves. That's

the fruit of podcasting, you know. And they end up doing a show themselves and they end up having a Christian show and conspiracy show or whatever they end up having. But I see that they're you know, they are still saved and they're still bringing people to the Lord. That is the fruit of some of the podcasting. Right. That's just an example. Know them by their fruits? Yes, very interesting. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Whoa man that is?

That's a that's a very tough statement right there. By their fruits, you will know them. There's a podcast called by their fruits that I know. They're them, they're they're they're pretty awesome. I like them anyways, shout out to them. That was just a little plug. I never knew you. Not everyone who says to me, Lord Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will

of my father in heaven but money. Many will say to me in that they, Lord Lord, have we not prophesized in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name? And then I declared to them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness? Woo, that is, should send up and down your spine here in that. So what is there going to be? People that prophesies in Jesus's name? You shoe with the Machiak's name, cast out demons in

Jesus's name, done wonders, signs in Jesus's name. But he will declare, I never knew you depart from me who practiced lawlessness. So if you are not obedient, and the way you love the Lord is by following his commandments, then you are practicing lawlessness. This says right here. Not everyone who says to me, Lord Lord, sa enter the Kingdom of heaven. But he who does the will of my Father in heaven. So we need to do God's will. That's why I've been telling you guys that we need

to place the kingdom of Heaven first. We need to place God first. So this verse is super interesting, very interesting. You know, we need to take heave of this. And it behooves you to read this verse and understand it. You do not want to be the one that is being told depart from me. I never knew you never want to be that build on the rock. Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them, I will

liken them. I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock, and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on the house, and did not fall, but it was founded on the rock. But whoever hears these sayings of mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who builds his house on the sand, and the rain descends. The floods came, and the winds blew and beat on the house, and it fell, and great was

its fall. Jesus is the rock you need to build everything on the rock, right, and when the floods came, the winds blue and beat on the house, it did not fall. But if you build your house in the sand, like let's say your foundation is weak, you know, like like then it's gonna obviously when the rains come or the or the temptations come or whatever, the floods come and blew and beat your house. Than the house wasn't great and it fell, right, So you got to understand that.

So yeah, we are I'll read the very last person. And it was when Jesus had ended these sayings that the people were astonished at his teachings. And he taught them one having authority. He taught them as one having authority and not as the scribes. So he is teaching them as if he is God, you know what I mean, that he knows what's really going on in the heavenly right. So all right, so next week we'll pick up at

Matthew eight. So what an amazing show. Really appreciate you guys tuning in And it is now eleven fifteen here time, specific time, and I think this is a you know, very fruitful show. And we'll pick up at Matthew eight, I will definitely try to be as studied up as possible.

So thank you guys so much. I really appreciate you listening, and like I always do, we end this in prayer, Father God, in the name of Jesus, and you Shoe of the Mischiak's name, we appreciate everything you do for us. Lord.

Right now, we went over some very very amazing verses that you know that you want us to follow, and I just want to I just want to pray for people that they help me to teach how you want me to teach. Help the Holy Spirit to speak through me to the people that are listening. I know that a lot of people have a lot of things that they're dealing with at this very moment, you know, with

depression or with any type of vices that they may have. Lord, we saw that when when Jesus was tempted on the mountain, when your son was tempted on the mountain, that he

was the word of God against them. So help the people that are listening to remember the word that they need in that very time, and help them to pray, Help them to build their shield of faith, help them to build their spiritual armor, and when they go through spiritual battles, help them to use those weapons that you gave us, and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. So help people to do that, Lord, and help myself too whenever I'm in those situations. I appreciate everything you

do for us, Lord, and I thank you in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you guys so much for listening. I really appreciate you, and thank you Cuolt Conspiracy Podcasts for allowing me to do this. We love you and God bless
