In this sequel, set eleven years after "The Terminator," young John Connor, the key to humanity's salvation, is the target of another Terminator. This time, he is being pursued by the more advanced shape-shifting T-1000. To help John, a revamped T-800 has been sent back to protect him. Teamed up with a militarized Sarah Connor, this unconventional action-packed family must evade detection from a liquid metal shapeshifting robot, while trying to alter their doomed future.
