Alison Mitchell has established herself as one of the great modern cricket commentators of our time. From tennis to pommel horse, Ali has also covered a number of other sports but it’s cricket that is her mainstay. She’s a previous winner of the Sports Journalists’ Association award for Sports Broadcaster of the Year and has found herself reporting on more poignant and serious events alongside the triumphant sporting ones.
In this episode, Ali talks about learning from Ritchie Benaud, becoming the first female commentator on TMS and hoping that the path she has trodden can help others.
