[SPEAKER_01]: I got stuff for you. [SPEAKER_02]: Holy moly. [SPEAKER_02]: I need to get some snakes and release them around my house. [SPEAKER_01]: But I love eat people. [SPEAKER_04]: I love eating kids. [SPEAKER_04]: These guys are the scientists of the supernatural. [SPEAKER_04]: Lecturers leaving lessons for inquiring laymen. [SPEAKER_04]: They are applying the scientific myth that do a world that baffle signs. [SPEAKER_04]: They are the cryptids of the corn.

[SPEAKER_01]: Every day, the European mouth. [SPEAKER_01]: I know, right? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm more convinced that you're a like the aliens. [SPEAKER_04]: No. [SPEAKER_04]: And it just stood up. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it just like kept going on and going on. [SPEAKER_02]: And she goes, what the fuck? [SPEAKER_02]: These are idiots. [SPEAKER_02]: I was laughing reading this because I already knew how you would feel. [SPEAKER_01]: Idiot! [SPEAKER_01]: What's the story?

[SPEAKER_01]: It fits your balloon. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, this is a UFO. [SPEAKER_01]: But who else has big black wings and red eyes? [SPEAKER_01]: Um, Batman. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, mach, man. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, mach, man. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, everyone, I think we know exactly what it is. [SPEAKER_00]: So say it all with me. [SPEAKER_00]: It was a sandville crane. [SPEAKER_01]: Would you try it? [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: You wouldn't need it? [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: Why?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because they're probably toxic. [SPEAKER_01]: There'd be a lot of poop in my face. [SPEAKER_01]: I've seen a six foot alligator go swimming through the air to slam into a tree. [SPEAKER_01]: Hello, hello, and welcome back to Cribbs of Going By Cast. [SPEAKER_01]: I am the Great and Powerful Mystery J. [SPEAKER_01]: Clones 19. [SPEAKER_01]: Recording this five days after everything else has been recorded. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, definitely an off day.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's the middle of the week. [SPEAKER_01]: All the episodes before and after this, I was extremely sick. [SPEAKER_01]: I still am sick. [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm not like deathly ill. [SPEAKER_02]: They get a little break in the middle of the week. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: This is your break. [SPEAKER_01]: This is our heads up for the rest of the week. [SPEAKER_01]: There's more sick ones coming. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, this is one.

[SPEAKER_01]: It is not our typical bag that we do. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, this is new. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but during Crypticon couple on now like four weeks ago three weeks ago whenever recording this like a month ago. [SPEAKER_02]: Just say a month.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: uh... a bunch of people did not know this existed okay and i think it's adjacent to what we talk about a lot okay you remember what this is it all we learned it at cryptic on i told a bunch of people about it at cryptic i've learned i've learned as many years ago it's not the ohio irita now that's good one we will [SPEAKER_01]: that was a different conference. [SPEAKER_01]: Now that Cincinnati had super heroes and villains. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I do remember this.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: The super hero is a Cincinnati. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Like literal, actual like we're not talking about like like just good people. [SPEAKER_01]: That cops and firefighters are which can be super heroes. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: Now we're talking out literal like a guy dressed up comic book super heroes punching a guy that's trying to poison [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it happened.

[SPEAKER_01]: It happened. [SPEAKER_01]: It happened for a long time actually. [SPEAKER_01]: So this is a, yeah, adjacent. [SPEAKER_01]: I'd say. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not quite because you remember in our mouth, man, our first ever season finale we ever did. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, that they thought mouth man was like a vigilante for a second. [SPEAKER_01]: It was like at one newspaper article.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's in the book by Jeff Warmsley with all the newspaper clippings. [SPEAKER_01]: They literally said anything back then did they just because they seen a humanoid thing right going over roofs. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but like, come on. [SPEAKER_01]: Real vigilante must be that or maybe that super hero vigilante, but like a guy dressed up running across. [SPEAKER_01]: Gotcha, okay, okay, more like that a costume crusader, okay, that makes a little more sense.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, this is he had he's from Milford, Ohio. [SPEAKER_01]: And there are people that know as identity and nobody is sharing it. [SPEAKER_01]: It's still not public who he is. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I know people that say that they know some of the crew, because there was a whole like league of superheroes and a whole league of supervillains. [SPEAKER_01]: Like a shadow hair, though, is the main guy. [SPEAKER_01]: Shadow hair.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Like hair, like a rabbit, rabbit hair, not yet the hair on your head hair. [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of a Batman S costume. [SPEAKER_02]: That's interesting. [SPEAKER_01]: It was actually kind of scary. [SPEAKER_01]: Look at like if he was on out the alley out of you, it would be scary. [SPEAKER_01]: And he was a real-life superhero. [SPEAKER_01]: So we kind of think he was born in or in or [SPEAKER_01]: What? [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so he's a little older than us.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just a few years older than me. [SPEAKER_01]: He's from Milford, Ohio, but he is all over the Cincinnati area. [SPEAKER_01]: Him and his team. [SPEAKER_01]: He definitely had martial arts training. [SPEAKER_01]: And we'll get to it later. [SPEAKER_01]: Probably some kind of military training. [SPEAKER_01]: Some people claim special ops with his behaviors and how he conducted certain things.

[SPEAKER_01]: and that was from about 2005 is when they say it started to about 2010 it's pretty long time and it was an injury that why he stopped he got wow super heroine and he ran the allegiance of heroes out of Cincinnati that's pretty sweet who is on this crew hmm well that's cool we'll get to that but like any of the else the police department did not like shadow here [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you got the egg. [SPEAKER_02]: No, I don't. [SPEAKER_01]: I just had a little take off.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're just going to dump about a gallon of mulling and horse radish alcohol in the year. [SPEAKER_02]: Oil. [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I need. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, the horse radish is also for congestion, but it's an alcohol based one. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's an alcohol, but alcohol based one is old. [SPEAKER_01]: You use like two milliliters of it. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, but it's still strong. [SPEAKER_01]: Like horse radish. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Did not get any less potent. [SPEAKER_01]: A shadow hair is a suit Newton for a vigilante superhero who operated Cincinnati from 2005 to 2010. [SPEAKER_01]: He stated that he lived in Millford, Ohio. [SPEAKER_01]: Millford is like one of the little suburb towns of like blue ash. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's actually quite pretty close to blue ash and all of them. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So a bunch of people were like, well, you know, probably know who he is.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's only a couple you can really point at.

[SPEAKER_01]: uh... he where he was wearing a handmade black suit with a stylized hair as in the rabbit on the front along with a cape and a mask he patrol the streets looking for crime in progress but he also gave out a lot of meals to the homeless now that's cool [SPEAKER_01]: Um, although not supported or endorsed by this incident in a police department whatsoever, he he cooperated with the police department, making citizens arrest when necessary.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: As you should, the police department did not care for him very much. [SPEAKER_02]: And they were cut. [SPEAKER_01]: He was cutting into their budget. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Shadow here claimed that he had the skills in. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: This is the martial arts I could never say right? [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: shawr on it real. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I have to see it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, it's like, it's got the use with the little lines over it. [SPEAKER_01]: We're, uh, we're about that one line by itself. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, shadow error claim to be skilled at. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I got show Ren Ryu. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that was pretty close. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you were.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I would say maybe show one re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re re

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, not me, not me. [SPEAKER_01]: You thought like the medieval. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm like, wow, the spike in fall. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a little different. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, a morning star had the spike in the ball on the stage. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: The mace is just a big. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's basically just a bludgering, a bludgering instrument.

[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, like if I was back then, that's what I would probably carry because I have no skill. [SPEAKER_01]: The mace. [SPEAKER_01]: So you just, yeah, you just need something big and heavy to swing to hit them hard with it. [SPEAKER_01]: But no, he carried mace, a taser and several pairs of handcuffs. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I kind of wish he had a mace.

[SPEAKER_01]: That would be cooler imagine you're trying to rob some lady in a guy dressed up as a black rabbit It comes out of the shadows in the head with the mace and kills you like you know what I'm I'll turn myself in That'd be a way to go though. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like Shadow hair unfortunately was injured [SPEAKER_01]: He received a dislocated shoulder while assisting a woman who was being robbed actively robbed. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wow.

[SPEAKER_01]: A lady was being mugged and he ran out and was fighting the guy and received a dislocated shoulder. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just like from a movie. [SPEAKER_01]: He frequented Cincinnati public events though, especially once he suspected May turn violent. [SPEAKER_01]: Using the tagline, I see the shadows of the shadows. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's pretty good.

[SPEAKER_01]: he received international internet television news coverage ranging from support to mocking okay so there's a bunch of people there like he had fan clubs and stuff like that how could you not and there were people that were like uh... always uh... was a guy that he picked a spire man i need more change on james and change on james and there was a bunch of people and i like that like maybe pictures of they just like he's awful yeah like we're under the mud yeah

[SPEAKER_02]: uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh

[SPEAKER_01]: So that rest of that sentence was he's putting himself in jeopardy for something he is not trained for. [SPEAKER_01]: We don't want to see anybody get hurt. [SPEAKER_01]: So nothing about the woman that he saved. [SPEAKER_01]: And that was that happened several times. [SPEAKER_01]: And then he also, like I said, if I had the homeless, he'd just, and he would just show up to stuff and kind of hang out in the back. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Like just be there.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was going to be violent. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I can't put could be violent. [SPEAKER_02]: I can't put no one like bum rushed him and like a group and unmasked him. [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I think he was very trained. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you could do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, not according to police. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And they know everything. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I think you could do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I think several people are going to be severely injured in that in that process. [SPEAKER_01]: But shadow here continues activities until at least 2019 stating, if I have to save someone else in an alleyway, or if there's someone right now who needs my help, I will rush in and willingly give my life. [SPEAKER_02]: Wow, not many people who can say that about. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_02]: So, she knows what it is. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, that's one of the last things you ever told the news. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: He was also a part of an allegiance of heroes. [SPEAKER_01]: A group that included many other masked crime-fighting and calling themselves a clip-to-call, wall creeper in master legend. [SPEAKER_02]: That's their three and the three others. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the other famous famous ones.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: He, uh, they, he patrol this in any area alone, or sometimes with a few of the members of the allegiance. [SPEAKER_01]: Distributing business cards to any of those who are interested. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, she's going to say, I was just about to ask, how do you like form this group if you don't want no one to know your identity? [SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's pretty much just got to be a group of friends.

[SPEAKER_02]: Unless you're a little someone else just starts doing it and they decide to meet out in the street one day. [SPEAKER_01]: So the what we can talk about theories of this group in a second. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's not much on the other guys besides there's a little tiny bit on map about master legend, but they did a really good job of keeping themselves like when it was over it was over.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they didn't come out and still, I mean, it's 20 20 almost 20 26, you know, so this is 16 years later. [SPEAKER_02]: To me, I don't know why, but to me, it's telling me they maybe they were military and stuff to have that kind of discipline to keep it under wraps and just to keep the discipline of keeping it just between them. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: At the time, he traveled to work with other local superheroes in the city such as Mr. [SPEAKER_01]: Extreme in San Diego traveled to work. [SPEAKER_02]: Where's work? [SPEAKER_01]: According to Shadowhair, the two attempted to identify and locate a rapist. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So now we can talk about that, I think. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess I, I'm not a person sure he did catch it. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, there was a local rapist going around.

[SPEAKER_01]: And this is, I think, a big thing with the police. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Is he did catch the local rapists? [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: And then police were mad because then they can't use it. [SPEAKER_01]: Now, here's where I guess maybe some of the police makes sense where all the evidence during that is in a miscible decor. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: The arrest is in a miscible decor, because he just grabbed [SPEAKER_02]: That's good.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I guess for putting the guy in jail There was other problems from a vigilante doing it. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: Does that make sense? [SPEAKER_01]: I guess so. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah I can't use any of that stuff because who's to say that he didn't just put it on the guy or you know Yeah, I'm not saying anything that Shadow here would do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying right as far as our legal system goes in the benefit of the doubt [SPEAKER_01]: there's a guy you don't know who he is. [SPEAKER_01]: Right, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: This guy said he is the rapist. [SPEAKER_01]: Here's what I found on him. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, then it's his word against hit, you know, and one guy doesn't have an idea. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, true. [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know. [SPEAKER_02]: It is complicated.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not saying he shouldn't have stopped the rapist because he should have, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, Mr. [SPEAKER_01]: Extreme helped him catch the rapist. [SPEAKER_01]: That's pretty cool. [SPEAKER_01]: So in 2011, early television, premier journalist Brian Hartman investigated a disappearance from Cincinnati, and his disappearance from Cincinnati, and revealed that he may have went back to the military.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if that's uh, well, yeah, I guess maybe, but if you want that, I think what he means is maybe it's like a, there was a guy that they suspected was shadow air. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And he left Cincinnati by the same time shadow here did and he rejoined the military. [SPEAKER_02]: Interesting. [SPEAKER_01]: So like I had a military career.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I wonder, whoever that guy is, if it is that guy, what position, you know, he went back to the military for because you know, if you're, obviously, it's [SPEAKER_02]: on the boots on the ground position, or because if you're injured and stuff, I ain't going to take ya, I ain't going to take you back, so it must be some kind of like, you know, role-like. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know authority role kind of that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I do have some of that and I'm not an expert in the military whatsoever. [SPEAKER_01]: I just want to help me a lot of vDup or veterans veterans associations and stuff like that VFWs and what's the hospital. [SPEAKER_01]: I just forgot the VA the VA. [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't that I've spent hundreds of hours of years. [SPEAKER_01]: He could have been hired back for training as in boot camp stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, especially if he had certain special ops and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, come back. [SPEAKER_01]: It's, you know, not an easy job, but it's not like you're not Punching people in Cincinnati. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, or being a green beret on blind enemy lines. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: that's pretty much it that he did a lot they showed up to a lot of parades uh... they were never purposely i don't think they ever had floats uh... like their own float but they would just show up on other people's floats and walk around the parade and stuff like that they would be invited uh... you could there used to be a contact like a phone you could call uh... they get a hold of the association that's pretty cool

[SPEAKER_01]: That's just not a lot on these guys and I just think it was cool that since the adio high and there were other real life superheroes like I mentioned Mr. [SPEAKER_01]: Extreme from San Diego. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah in California. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's pretty yeah, I mean Since an adiates our home state or dinner home state, you know, I didn't until we talked about it this boy at that conference there. [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know about date this.

[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody know about these guys. [SPEAKER_02]: Everybody thought I was making it up. [SPEAKER_02]: Kind of yeah, I mean, they did, but I didn't know like a Bruce Wayne guys out there actually doing it, you know, minus the attack, but that would be cool to get a yeah, I do wonder how wonder who was I mean it doesn't at the end of the day doesn't matter, but there were superheroes out there protecting us.

[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't like how that I get like the police how they don't want them to I guess step on their toes or get I don't know get hurt or anything but why do the comments always have to be so like so negative because they don't want to encourage it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but they weren't like, if they wanted to catch him, they could have, you know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: Because he was out there. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because they were at parade.

[SPEAKER_01]: He was at parades and stuff like that publicly with cops. [SPEAKER_01]: But he wouldn't, like you say, you didn't do anything wrong. [SPEAKER_01]: No, but like if they wanted to stop him, stop him. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they could have. [SPEAKER_02]: And that would have looked really bad on them. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'm just saying that I think it was more just to maybe, [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, discourage that kind of stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just how it all just seems funny. [SPEAKER_01]: So, there's a theory that this group was, at least him, Miss Shadow here, ex-military. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking at Mr. Xtreme right now. [SPEAKER_01]: I would be very scared of Mr. Xtreme was coming in at me. [SPEAKER_01]: There's their pictures of these guys. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Like an action, I guess. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: In the field, there's a picture of Mr. Xtreme.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that would be scary. [SPEAKER_02]: He looks pretty wide. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, mostly why it's very jacked. [SPEAKER_02]: He looks like a mesomorphic minitar. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, you use words, I don't know. [SPEAKER_02]: You know what, Mesomorphic is, like a big bone. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's just say, you're white. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, why, who's stoutly like your bone structure? [SPEAKER_02]: You got it.

[SPEAKER_01]: So he was the leader of the other, that's why him and Shadowhair did stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: He was a leader of the West Coast version. [SPEAKER_01]: They extreme justice league. [SPEAKER_02]: They look, he looks like you'd be like some kind of private security like private military. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I remember I was telling you about Officer Me Hammer. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's what he looked like.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, like he was only like five foot five, but he was probably five foot five wide. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah Built like a big square. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, they used to call it a brick something house, but Well, I'll just call it a crap house. [SPEAKER_02]: Is that it was that safe to say? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so the the military training like you already said the secretive nature How everybody kept their mouths shut? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, was this guy?

[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm talking about shadow here. [SPEAKER_01]: No, no [SPEAKER_01]: how the big theory is that they were a group of ex-military, they got out together, whether it was just a group of buddies, or they were in the same unit or whatever. [SPEAKER_01]: And they just kind of formed this and started doing this. [SPEAKER_01]: And it was more of a deterrent, like the kind of the Batman idea.

[SPEAKER_01]: there's a giant scary dude dressed up as a monster like it didn't look like a rabbit shadow here is not an accurate name looks like it he looks like a demon I'm off to look him up yes you picture him he looks like a demon coming out like why being certain batman does too if you're not yeah i'm not saying that i'm i'm saying that a bat doesn't sound like a scary thing until it's a jack dude yeah i'm out of the dark at [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, yeah, he looks like a version.

[SPEAKER_02]: He looks like a mix between like Segway. [SPEAKER_01]: Let me see the picture. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, this is great radio. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, he's like. [SPEAKER_01]: That's one of his early costumes. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: The early match and it's dark and then he starts beating the buddy out of you. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that would suck [SPEAKER_01]: That would suck like the segue making it goofier than it is.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: No, that's I would be embarrassed too. [SPEAKER_02]: So like yeah, I'm I'm Imagine just trying to imagine myself being a guy, you know, like mugging that lady [SPEAKER_02]: You got, you got the nuts enough to, I guess steel mug from, or I guess a lady, yeah, I guess hit, you know, I'm that very big nuts, but you're still in a mug? [SPEAKER_02]: No, you just said you're still in a mug, huh? [SPEAKER_02]: I, to mug, a lady to mug a lady to steal or mug.

[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, this deal or mug, but I guess yeah, but then having this guy pop out of the shows and it's like Halloween [SPEAKER_01]: Now, if you go back here, oh, no, he got he doing was arrested. [SPEAKER_01]: He was handcuffed to a pole. [SPEAKER_02]: That guy was, okay, so you're that. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but then you can get arrested. [SPEAKER_02]: You finally, when you get out, you go back to the boys, you know, and you're, what happened?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's the shadow here. [SPEAKER_01]: A kid came out of the doors. [SPEAKER_02]: Getting an Halloween costume. [SPEAKER_02]: Beat me up and handcuffed me to a palpable. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that would be embarrassing. [SPEAKER_01]: The other guy had vigilante spider, the grim, divine force, night, and midnight moxie. [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: I like it. [SPEAKER_02]: I-I'm all for this. [SPEAKER_02]: It was like that movie that were those kids were superheroes.

[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I don't-I had Mclovin' in it, and so I remember. [SPEAKER_02]: I came here. [SPEAKER_01]: I never, I never, I never, shout out here did have super villains too. [SPEAKER_01]: They had real super villains. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So like, I, so there was a little bit of like a comedy thing with it. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Where I think the super villains were some of their friends.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they would show up during float like praise and like fight kind of play fight and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: That'd be, that's great. [SPEAKER_02]: That's great. [SPEAKER_02]: I think it was for more little kids entertainment. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Just, it's a real life entertainment. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not even a TV show. [SPEAKER_02]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's gonna be year old.

[SPEAKER_02]: I hope we don't ruin this parade and then he shows up to ruin it. [SPEAKER_02]: We could do that here. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, wouldn't be hard need of [SPEAKER_02]: Now, it didn't actually be really fun. [SPEAKER_01]: Imagine like that, parades, we have, you know, a carpenter festival dressed up in a big, like, blue suit carrying a ballping hammer on. [SPEAKER_02]: And then I'm the villain. [SPEAKER_02]: Like some squirrely, like, rat tail. [SPEAKER_01]: We're early, damn.

[SPEAKER_02]: Squirrely, damn, that'll be my name. [SPEAKER_01]: Penhead Larry. [SPEAKER_02]: And I'll, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I'll just basically be like, uh, I gotta have, I'm basically while he coyote. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to be that mixed with like, neocortex from Crash Bandicoot. [SPEAKER_01]: Gosh, I just imagine me in a morpsoot. [SPEAKER_02]: Ah, jab. [SPEAKER_02]: Jab, I think we need you to draw this. [SPEAKER_01]: He's already backlogged.

[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, no, I think they are military. [SPEAKER_01]: I think there was a group of guys that were hanging out and they were tired of seeing stuff or maybe what in some action, you know, I can see both that it's hard to step out of the military. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, especially to I'm a website, would you say 2010 the 2015 something five to ten to five to ten so yeah, especially then what was I when high school graduate high school all that time.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's a post 9-11 desert storm on land. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's true. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, because what was uh, yeah, because yeah, 2001's a guess off of that one news reporter thinking that they knew who he was. [SPEAKER_02]: Gotcha. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's a proximation. [SPEAKER_01]: But he was younger.

[SPEAKER_02]: You can tell from the pictures and the, like, because well, let's say, you know, 2001, 9-11 happens, you know, you enlist four years later, if you get out, [SPEAKER_02]: but that'd be actually right yeah i mean it would time up right i'm just wondering if you're in there long enough to learn yeah you probably would four years enough to learn all that crazy stuff i think i could have been in there longer to like before than even yeah

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because I mean afghanistan itself. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean it was we shouldn't. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not that. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not that show either way, but if I was a soldier there You know, and you see you go over there and you see what's happening and all that and you don't you know you come home You know that can be a big and there's a rapist shooting neighborhood. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Why don't I just go do that? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, he's take care of it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're trying to stop that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're trying to do it. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, being over there that long [SPEAKER_02]: Left with you. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to wear costumes and go beat up criminals. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I wonder if they talked about it It's like because I would have probably talked about it back when you're in think about this is like Captain not the real Captain America. [SPEAKER_01]: Captain America.

[SPEAKER_01]: The guy that gets back kids And he's group the guy. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is not uncommon. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for military dudes when they get back. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think there's probably four or five groups that Are stopping drugs or recovering kids if anybody didn't know I let me or find his name the Captain America dude [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, you're referring to the Captain America, not like you said, not the comic book character, but the guy.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's a guy out there that, uh, he has a basically stopped child trafficking. [SPEAKER_02]: It saves you. [SPEAKER_02]: It covers kids from child traffickers yet. [SPEAKER_01]: And the people and the traffickers don't ever go to jail. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they don't ever go anywhere. [SPEAKER_02]: They don't ever go anywhere after they just don't they disappear. [SPEAKER_02]: But the kids show up and he says, and so that's the Captain America you're referring to.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, that's good work. [SPEAKER_02]: There's just so much evil out in the world, especially nowadays. [SPEAKER_02]: We need superheroes, not just literally like these guys like Shadow Air, which is nice. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I welcome it. [SPEAKER_02]: It'd be nice. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, it's just nice. [SPEAKER_02]: It's nice knowing.

[SPEAKER_02]: that's I guess somebody's out there just put putting that little bit of fear in our hesitation and someone that maybe I shouldn't do that maybe I shouldn't mug this lady maybe I shouldn't rape this person I mean horrible horrible things but it's nice having that counter out there that's not just a I don't know I guess religious based or anything like that like the fear of God and you know some some people that do all that stuff don't believe in that and that don't really work for

[SPEAKER_02]: So having a guy in a costume, scary costume show up out of the shadows of an alleyway at night when you're doing mischievous things might be a little frightening. [SPEAKER_02]: Did you ever find that guy? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm working on it. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: There's, there's been several. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_02]: Guys, that do that. [SPEAKER_02]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, American visually any of them.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, block is one, but I don't know if that's the guy that was recovering kids. [SPEAKER_02]: Two, like this also makes me think of it.

[SPEAKER_02]: stuff just going on, not just in our hometown, but I think across everywhere is as like technology grows and we in our relationship with technology grows, you know, we we're losing that relationship that community, the fellowship with our community and our neighbors and our friends, where, you know, that prevent things like that, that prevent, you know,

[SPEAKER_02]: horrible just bad negative things that aren't good for community, you know, and usually it's just people in need that are doing that stuff and there are sometimes just people are awful a little bit either in need or they're stuck or they're hooked on something and but we don't with that as our relationship with technology grows, we sever that relationship with each other, we can kind of watch over each other. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's nice to have, I think we need more of this back.

[SPEAKER_02]: kind of get people together again, something a rally around and like, hey, something good to rally around, not like the new hits, sawing that's out that hypnotizes everyone, you know, like that demon hunter song, that's the most recent example, you know, I'm talking about. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, I know, odd that every single person knows that song and I just love it for some reason, just some odd reason, I love it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And let me guess you do too, huh? [SPEAKER_02]: I do like, see, it's weird. [SPEAKER_01]: It's weird. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like Thomas [SPEAKER_02]: No, it's not like that, it's not like that at all, because there's not a campaign where everyone is like really against him, because he says something truthful. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, not this show. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know. [SPEAKER_02]: I just think this is great. [SPEAKER_02]: I think it is, too.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think we need more of this, but I don't encourage people going out and post teams. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't encourage that. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_02]: But I encourage like, you know, when our military comes home, we have too many problems where they're not taking care of. [SPEAKER_01]: They are not taking care of and they're very skilled.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't think our country does a good enough job at taking care of people who risk their lives and their time and their their lives to take care of us at home. [SPEAKER_02]: And then when they get back here, there's nothing for them or when they're in need, their resources aren't there to take care of them. [SPEAKER_02]: It's sad. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, so I don't know, I just, I, I like to know you can come home and be a superhero.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, come home be a superhero like we will, we will take you. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, the the extreme justice league. [SPEAKER_01]: They had a little bit bigger budget was that the other one group. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: They're costumes are terrifying [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they had a production. [SPEAKER_02]: Was that the one in California? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, that makes sense. [SPEAKER_02]: They got, you know, Hollywood connections.

[SPEAKER_02]: They can get that costume. [SPEAKER_01]: The one that had a guy is had a, it's like the West Coast version because there's a bunch of our in Texas. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Like there's, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, the Graham is, is a giant bike or a dude that wears a giant blue skull and his beard comes out at the bottom of it. [SPEAKER_02]: These guys need a movie. [SPEAKER_02]: These guys need. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you ever seen the movie mystery men.

[SPEAKER_02]: Here's my reference. [SPEAKER_02]: Someone made that comment. [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, you make a lot of references. [SPEAKER_02]: Someone's a community encounter or a countdown that says, uh, [SPEAKER_02]: This mini day or what was it this many days since Jay's reference to 80 or 90s movie Well, here's well, I think this one might be early 2000 so mystery man with Ben Stiller. [SPEAKER_02]: You ever seen that movie? [SPEAKER_02]: No, it's like got the and it's got the dad from shameless.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, will he make me see you know who he is sure you see that show, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, the dad you know the drunk. [SPEAKER_02]: He's in it too. [SPEAKER_02]: He's so they're all superheroes just like this [SPEAKER_02]: Um, but they all have like weird unique powers, like, uh, Cal from Keenan Calz in it. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: His superhero power is easy and visible boy.

[SPEAKER_02]: So he can turn invisible, but he can only turn invisible if nobody's watching him. [SPEAKER_02]: So that's his superpower. [SPEAKER_02]: but there's a part in the movie where they have to sneak by these like motion sensor cameras he's like I can do it I've seen this but I need none of you can watch me do it and they're like oh yeah all right and he does it and watch if he really does go invisible and he sneaks fast [SPEAKER_02]: Or yeah, P. We Herman's even in it.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's the, the split, the splemes his, his, his, repower as he farts on command. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I just was going through the directory of, uh, the superheroes on the East Coast or the West Coast, the extreme Justice League directory. [SPEAKER_01]: There's one guy that just called the bare man bare man. [SPEAKER_01]: He is a guy with my build, okay? [SPEAKER_01]: So a little bit larger man that wears a mask and bear ears.

[SPEAKER_01]: Pretty, I need fights with his bare hands. [SPEAKER_01]: Like does he have like clawed hands? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like bare gloves on, you know, with big claws or is it actually just his fists? [SPEAKER_01]: It's just his fists. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So bear B-A-R-E hands. [SPEAKER_01]: He has a foe named Apathy. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_02]: Lazyness. [SPEAKER_02]: Is that is app is that like a joke to I think so too.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think there's a villain out there named apathy Although, you know what apathy is a villain inside all of us It does not serve you. [SPEAKER_02]: It is a villain. [SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully you guys enjoyed this episode. [SPEAKER_01]: I think this is fun This was cryptid adjacent. [SPEAKER_01]: I think you're right. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I wouldn't quite it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I almost gets on that an anti spring-hilled jack Try to yeah that it may have just been a guy with some money [SPEAKER_02]: I would am obvious. [SPEAKER_01]: I would imagine they had to have what at least the West Coast ones had have some money's worth connection They're corresponds are they're costumes What it could they could just be like they got one buddy that's a lourper and he's just like I've been waiting for this.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, forever Yeah, I love making costumes. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know maybe I Wish I could have got their autograph. [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we can one day. [SPEAKER_01]: There's the East Coast ones still at or the West Coast ones still active. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh really It's like today. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [UNKNOWN]: Wow [SPEAKER_01]: You don't hear about them on the news. [SPEAKER_01]: How the grim, they say he's retired, but he just had to interview him like 2022.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's three years ago, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, then he just was walking around and a giant, like six foot five, a bike or a dude with a big beard coming out from underneath of a giant blue skull. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: No thanks. [SPEAKER_02]: How would I want to cause you mischief around him? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, imagine acting up. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, don't be acting a fool out there.

[SPEAKER_02]: It'd be like when you're little and you act out in front of your dad. [SPEAKER_02]: Not good. [SPEAKER_02]: Don't do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, hopefully you guys enjoyed this. [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, have a Merry Christmas. [SPEAKER_01]: Remember next week's episodes are still Christmas themed, including the man that ruined Christmas and a special appearance from Santa. [SPEAKER_01]: And then, uh, we'll be back to our normally scheduled programs.

[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you guys did a lot of, we got a lot a lot of comments about the, the plasmoid episode. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And most of you guys, I haven't heard any comments where you don't want us to go into anymore. [SPEAKER_01]: Some people are very like, yeah, do the whole thing and it's straight. [SPEAKER_01]: Josh, the 90s, some pages because we're on page two, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: But they said they loved it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of other people said, yeah, do like an every other thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I see a bullet in there. [SPEAKER_01]: We just, yeah, which enterprise is more accurate of what we'll do. [SPEAKER_02]: We should just start reading scientific papers and then breaking them down with my zero experience and your biology experience.

[SPEAKER_01]: Very, I have a very limited knowledge of science, it's just the layman's man's interpretation of, that's not a real word, scientific papers, a guy named Ed at my old job, I won't say his last name because he's a very, very high ranking biologist. [SPEAKER_02]: Hmm, like discombobulated. [SPEAKER_01]: No, like, I'm talking, like a $30 word. [SPEAKER_02]: A $30. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's maple. [SPEAKER_01]: It made up some letters.

[SPEAKER_01]: Dang, get that triple square, but uh, because he was using it for like scientific dissertations. [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, so it's just But it's he was like one of the guys. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so who was gonna be like, well, that's not a word, Ed, but you don't know the word Yeah, just like you just don't know it. [SPEAKER_02]: You don't know it. [SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna look dumb if you ask with that word, man. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah I like that a lot though.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was fun. [SPEAKER_02]: You don't question people like that. [SPEAKER_02]: You just nod your head and agree [SPEAKER_02]: I think he just wants somebody to ask him because he just mildly like waiting for the moment. [SPEAKER_02]: Someone questions it. [SPEAKER_02]: Finally got caught. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: I've been the Great Powerful Mystery. [SPEAKER_02]: I've been Jay Clone 19. [SPEAKER_01]: Merry Christmas.
