[SPEAKER_03]: I got stuff for you. [SPEAKER_03]: Holy moly. [SPEAKER_03]: I need to get some snakes and release them around my house. [SPEAKER_02]: But I love eat people. [SPEAKER_02]: I love eat kids. [SPEAKER_05]: These guys are the scientists of the supernatural. [SPEAKER_05]: Lecturers leaving lessons for inquiring laymen. [SPEAKER_05]: They are applying the scientific myth that to a world that baffle signs. [SPEAKER_05]: They are the cryptids of the core.
[SPEAKER_04]: Every day, the European mouth. [SPEAKER_04]: I know, right? [SPEAKER_04]: I'm more convinced you're a bunch of aliens. [SPEAKER_02]: No. [SPEAKER_02]: And it just stood up. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it just like kept going on and go on and she goes, what the fuck? [SPEAKER_02]: These are idiots. [SPEAKER_02]: I was laughing reading this because I already knew how you would feel. [SPEAKER_02]: Idiot! [SPEAKER_02]: Where's the story? [SPEAKER_02]: Fits your balloon.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, this isn't a UFO. [SPEAKER_04]: But who else has big black wings and red eyes? [SPEAKER_04]: Um, Batman. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, my man. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, my man. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, everyone, I think we know it's sadly what it is. [SPEAKER_00]: So say it all with me, it was a sand bill crane. [SPEAKER_04]: Would you try it? [SPEAKER_04]: No, you wouldn't need it. [SPEAKER_04]: No, why? [SPEAKER_04]: Because they're probably toxic.
[SPEAKER_04]: There'd be a lot of poop in my face. [SPEAKER_04]: I've seen a six foot alligator go swing into the air and slam into a tree. [SPEAKER_04]: Welcome back to CryptoScore Podcast. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm the Great and Powerful Mystery. [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm Jay Clone 59. [SPEAKER_03]: If D9, is that a meme? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: Like that's, I don't even say it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I threatened to leave four age kids this weekend.
[SPEAKER_04]: Good. [SPEAKER_04]: At the Ohio National's because of that. [SPEAKER_03]: Good. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't even know what it means. [SPEAKER_03]: And people have been saying that at the bowl now. [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm just like, uh, I'm not. [SPEAKER_03]: It's like that nose goes game. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't participate. [SPEAKER_04]: It's accidentally, because I say those numbers a lot. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And so it was like, they were laughing every time.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Enough. [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to talk today. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, you remember we had we talked about the Kudzu Kelpie a couple of times. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, for sure. [SPEAKER_04]: I found an older article talking about maybe the Kudzu Kelpie's writer. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, writer. [SPEAKER_04]: Like the Moss man of Florida. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, like he was horse racie's Kudzu Kelpie. [SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, you think of the thick swamps of Florida as a spooky place, tangles of cypress tree vines, bushes and clouds of mosquitoes, and not to mention a lot of insects, snakes, and murky muddy water, proud with alligators and crocodiles depending on where you're at. [SPEAKER_03]: Mmm, nice. [SPEAKER_03]: Sounds like a pleasant place to be. [SPEAKER_03]: Sounds like some you want to walk around with it.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I would you ever watch that guy That has the TikToks and Instagram reels where he's out there barefoot hunting Burmese python's. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think so I know that one kid that like jumps on the snakes. [SPEAKER_03]: It's like all here we go. [SPEAKER_03]: We got a You ever seen him too. [SPEAKER_03]: I'll probably he picked up like a porcupine He's like you pick it up.
[SPEAKER_03]: I had belly and you can get under him like a little babies and he did [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: So when the sun goes down and the swamp, all the sounds come to life. [SPEAKER_04]: And they're mostly identifiable. [SPEAKER_04]: Every bit, oh, you've been out. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's like that song. [SPEAKER_03]: When the sun goes down, that's inflow. [SPEAKER_03]: That's about Florida. [SPEAKER_03]: Under the water, there's alligators too.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's on the coastal Florida everglades. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm Margaritaville. [SPEAKER_03]: Ah, yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Which is up by Daytona. [SPEAKER_04]: You know, all kinds of sounds. [SPEAKER_04]: There's one supposed monster that wades the water and crashes through the paths with glowing eyes, known as the Moss man. [SPEAKER_04]: This creature in question gets strange from this rather unique appearance. [SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's humanoid.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's bipedal somewhat ape-like in appearance and stands around seven feet tall. [SPEAKER_04]: You know, at first it just sounds like any other big foot, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Or skunk ape or whatever. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's what I thought of. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, but there he gets a little stranger. [SPEAKER_04]: The Mossman urges a usual name for being almost completely made a foliage and grass that seems to grow and unwind an intertangle with its way of it has hair with its hair.
[SPEAKER_04]: Making it green colored camouflage. [SPEAKER_04]: So if there is an animal underneath, it is extremely hard to tell where plants stop and animal starts. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And some people even believe it's just straight up like plant. [SPEAKER_03]: just a living plant creature. [SPEAKER_03]: I got two things. [SPEAKER_03]: It's making me think of one. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, uh, logger heads. [SPEAKER_03]: How they grow them off in the back.
[SPEAKER_04]: Sure. [SPEAKER_03]: There's just snap internals. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Um, maybe think so something like that. [SPEAKER_03]: And so then in nature that that already does exist or happen in. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there's even a mammal that does that. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, because we talked about it. [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, what is it? [SPEAKER_03]: Tooth. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_03]: How was thinking in water? [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, it's lost there you go.
[SPEAKER_03]: So a mammal said do it and then number two what it makes me think of Swamp thing. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I haven't listed down here. [SPEAKER_03]: No, no, that's good cartoon. [SPEAKER_03]: Why I think it was a comic Well, these are easy character a villain or a hero depending on which comic Yeah, just you know it's had it's all like life how you just how you look at it You'll base the green you what oh base of the green. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh base the green.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he's the spokesman for the green What they call it? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I didn't know that [SPEAKER_04]: It's it's like all the plants on earth. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, gosh. [SPEAKER_03]: First one is the green. [SPEAKER_03]: So he's like captain planet basically just plants. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, just the plant part. [SPEAKER_03]: I remember we had swamp thing tape and I don't know why I'm going to talk about this.
[SPEAKER_03]: But we did and we had one episode of swamp thing on tape and I watched it religiously over and over and over and I loved it. [SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was a best show ever. [SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, this camouflage nearly is perfect with its routing areas, but some of the sightings saying that they first mistaken it for an overgrown tree or a log that melted into the swamp. [SPEAKER_04]: Before it stood off, stood up and walked off into the swamp.
[SPEAKER_04]: Doesn't make you think of any other creatures we may have talked about? [SPEAKER_04]: A couple more. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, walking trees. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's where I was going with it. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, something like that. [SPEAKER_04]: Not quite as tree-like. [SPEAKER_04]: But like, when we had them on, uh, oh, gosh, the last name has Apple in it. [SPEAKER_04]: I just forgot it.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's not Apple Gate, but anyways, when we had them on with their walking tree sighting, why can't I think of it either? [SPEAKER_04]: I think John or Josh's as first name, but doesn't matter. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, anyways. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, regardless, the walking trees. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, where they thought it was a tree until it stood up and sort of walking away. [SPEAKER_04]: Walk with a Minnesota or something. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it was up west or up north.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Midwest makes me think of that. [SPEAKER_03]: And another creature we talked about, the lead little lake monster. [SPEAKER_04]: Another one that's been staking for trees. [SPEAKER_03]: Good throwback. [SPEAKER_03]: You know you can learn about the Lelandol Lake Monster. [SPEAKER_03]: Just a little bit about it in that book. [SPEAKER_03]: Aides E. Cryptids. [SPEAKER_03]: My first Cryptid Encyclopedia. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, Lelandol's in there.
[SPEAKER_03]: You can find it in our description of this episode. [SPEAKER_03]: Lelandol Lake Monster. [SPEAKER_03]: So if you got kids, it's Christmas time is coming up. [SPEAKER_03]: You want to give them a nice cryptid Christmas present. [SPEAKER_03]: Written by yours. [SPEAKER_03]: Truly Mr. E. Check out our website or the description below for that book. [SPEAKER_04]: It's said that this creature's eyes also glow as ambers or even a reddish hue.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, so it's not reflected in basically what they're saying. [SPEAKER_04]: It's glowing with intent. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: With some reports, even claimants, they've been almost in hypnotized by them. [SPEAKER_03]: Hypnotode. [SPEAKER_04]: According to some local lore, the Moshman has allegedly been encountered in the Wetland Wilderness since the 1800s. [SPEAKER_04]: Once I report in this area, Erosates a large man-like beast with a rank odor covered in swamp grass.
[SPEAKER_04]: He had been terrorizing the swamps in the area of Clay County and raiding rabbit pens and livestock of residents, prompting a local sheriff to be called, he was sheriff peeler, but organized an armed posse of men, expressed for the purpose of hunting down the creature. [SPEAKER_04]: They apparently spent several weeks slogging through the muck, dodging alligators, venomous snakes and everything else without much success. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: Interesting.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, apparently quite a, quite a stir. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah, 100 for him and they just like, you know, we actually met some of the seminal tribe, you know, Florida, Louisiana, that kind of area. [SPEAKER_04]: The swamp, Native American tribe, not just in the swamp, but there's a reason why they're tribe, they were great warriors also, but they're tribe still survived in a, you know, modern day, very, very well. [SPEAKER_04]: It's because of the land.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, it's because when the European side of us got here, they're just like, well, we're just going to stay here. [SPEAKER_04]: Come in if you dare. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we don't have to fight your navigators in the snakes and the, I mean, the flesh eating mosquitoes. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: other strange reports of that sometimes describe it as fishermen being menest or even attacked by this ape like brute with leaves and branches coming out of it.
[SPEAKER_04]: So still kind of that that swamp like swamp ape, skunk ape thing, but this one just seems to have a lot more like plant matter on it. [SPEAKER_03]: We'll attach to it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, integrated.
[SPEAKER_04]: another even earlier legend sprung from the presence of the screecher according to their particular tale in the fifteen hundreds spanish conquistadors now there's some graphic material here uh supposedly in conquistadors were looking for the fountain of youth and all that stuff right for it yep supposedly raped killed and beheaded some local native american girls that's terrible
[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, subsequently trying or tying her disembodied head to a tree to greatly anger the local tribes people. [SPEAKER_04]: Their most powerful medicine man was said to use a magic to call upon the spirit of the swamp itself, to seek vengeance. [SPEAKER_04]: After which the girl's head grew to be a part of the one who is taking on a human shape of weeds, branches, and other vegetation, and going to hunt down any spanners she could find.
[SPEAKER_04]: Wow. [SPEAKER_04]: In some versions of the story, the doc, the witch doctor, the tribe, and the medicine man [SPEAKER_04]: and then went on when the threat was gone and went off to continue to prowl the swamps this day still guarding it from the Spanish that I mean that would be more explainable than an actual this is very living creature very similar to like I mean even some wind to go stuff where medicine man or you know create them not wind to go sorry skinwalker okay got you
[SPEAKER_03]: where and then this you know a horrible act under this tribe and calling upon the is a spirit of the swamp itself to either make or to it yeah or to make you know it's very interesting now it is it is because it's blending uh well the supernatural and the land element the elemental side of things and with [SPEAKER_04]: When these reports and legends are interesting, the Mossman is truly being used to be in the public consciousness in 1978.
[SPEAKER_04]: In the year, a couple claimed that they've been taking leisurely stroll along the beach in the city of Boca Raton. [SPEAKER_04]: Right up to the Everglade Swampland. [SPEAKER_04]: When they spotted something odd, laying upon the sand by Iraqi outcroft. [SPEAKER_04]: So something's laying down on the sand. [SPEAKER_04]: As they drew near, they saw what it appeared to be a person [SPEAKER_04]: What would you do? [SPEAKER_03]: Probably go help them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: See if they're alive. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, yeah, just laying out there, however, as they passed it, what first was taken to be a man stood up and stared at them with what they call is a baleful glow to his eyes and they could see that he was not a human.
[SPEAKER_04]: The couple apparently fled for their wives as the looming creature was glaring at them with its fire red eyes When they went back later to investigate There appeared to be some Spanish moss sprude out through where the creature had been, but no sign of it to be set self You know what Spanish moss is right? [SPEAKER_03]: All right, I think of like old man's beard. [SPEAKER_03]: Is it similar? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I know where it's hanging off the trees and stuff like that.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I believe it's not a moss I believe it's not a moss. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's a liking, but I'm not a hundred percent sure about divine out [SPEAKER_04]: but grows massive amounts. [SPEAKER_04]: Don't ever touch it. [SPEAKER_03]: Why is that? [SPEAKER_04]: It's full of chiggers. [SPEAKER_03]: Ooh, okay. [SPEAKER_04]: And they weren't like when we were in Louisiana, they're like, yeah, it's the biggest mistake tourists make as they touch it.
[SPEAKER_04]: And it's full of these basically little animals that borrow into your skin and just, that sounds terrible. [SPEAKER_04]: I've had him before. [SPEAKER_04]: You gotta basically, how I got rid of him was a hot knife. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that sounds terrible. [SPEAKER_03]: It was not great. [SPEAKER_03]: Here's the first thing. [SPEAKER_03]: I want a Google Spanish moss First the first question people ask why can't I touch Spanish moss?
[SPEAKER_04]: That's hilarious It's probably you know somebody's like don't touch it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I that and it's exactly what you said the chiggers [SPEAKER_03]: That's terrible. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't want those on me. [SPEAKER_03]: It says they're up produce a small blue or pale green flowers Hangs. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it's not parasitic either. [SPEAKER_03]: They're an air plant. [SPEAKER_03]: That's pretty cool.
[SPEAKER_04]: When this report hit the news, others began to come forward from the woodwork, sharing their own story spotting what they claimed to be similar bipedal creatures, whether they're moss or leaf and crusting the body. [SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, sometimes in the swamp, and other times even on the beach, and even, can be around the waves itself. [SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, this creature's swimming out in the ocean.
[SPEAKER_04]: especially in the vicinity of Red Reef Park, West Palm Beach, and Hillsboro Beach. [SPEAKER_04]: The most famous of these reports came from the 1980s when an elderly couple visiting Red Reef Park, a 67-acre coastal nature preserve. [SPEAKER_04]: The couple reportedly had been hiking through the scenic area in the sight of what seemed to be a giant green object through the trees upon the breach our branch.
[SPEAKER_04]: The woman approached it thinking it was some sort of wondrous swamp bird, perching itself on a mossy branch. [SPEAKER_04]: But the bird then turned around and showed itself to be a fierce looking face of the moss man. [SPEAKER_04]: So she thought the head of this creature was a bird on a branch. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: The branch was the shoulders. [SPEAKER_04]: Got you. [SPEAKER_04]: And so when she walked up to it and went, huh, and looked at her.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you're not a bird. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, the tree itself was its enormous body. [SPEAKER_04]: They terrified woman had apparently been so close at the time. [SPEAKER_04]: She was genuinely feared for her life. [SPEAKER_04]: But what appeared to be the bruise creature just turned its back around and loathed back off into the wilderness. [SPEAKER_04]: It wasn't sticking around. [SPEAKER_03]: It didn't really. [SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't bothered by our presence, but yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: She walked pretty much onto it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: there are mincebredic sightings of the most me in ever since the counts bearing subscribing it was a flesh and bloody animal others claiming that it's a ghost or even a demon uh... and you know we it the fair like a natural creatures as in like uh... you already said i'm not fair uh... like elemental elementals yeah and even the plants and self coming to life and forming a body
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, the, I mean, the walking tree thing after that sighting kind of makes a little more sense, you know, that, whether it be in that type of creature over a big foot or a scunk, you know, scunk A, anything bipedal, [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, when I'm, yeah, um, but yeah, the walking tree thing just seems like a, if you're any longer going to put a pen on one thing, but I, I also believe though that, uh, I wonder with Native Americans, if they are doing or did do something.
[SPEAKER_03]: kind of ritual or some kind of, uh, we're not ritual magic. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, magic, it would be magic rituals. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, rituals right. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: But I guess more or less, yes, rituals doing summoning magic rituals doing something with the intent of something else to happen. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, whether it, whatever that happened or not, whatever that was. [SPEAKER_03]: That's a ritual. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: Even you could even consider like brushing your teeth is ritual to keep your teeth healthy. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's the cause and effect. [SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: I could see it. [SPEAKER_03]: Or you know, you touch the doorway top every time you go out of a room. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's ritual. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, anything that you do repetitive repeatedly. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's like a ritual ritual habit. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, anyways.
[SPEAKER_03]: them do I always wonder though if they were doing those types of things, you know, that's just real. [SPEAKER_03]: Regardless of what people believe or not. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's real. [SPEAKER_04]: That's things that are happening for Christians and there's magic in the Bible. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there's there was beaches and wizards or whatever you want to call them that did stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: they talk about people witnessed.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's happened and it's repeatable. [SPEAKER_03]: Like these things are real. [SPEAKER_03]: Whatever, however, it works in our natural world or in works on earth, you know, we don't have those answers, but we just know you do one thing and then this things happen.
[SPEAKER_03]: If you put the intent behind it, but, you know, where do, so let's say they do someone in some type of protective creature, because that would make most sense, you can't defend yourself to the best you're going to turn to like whatever desperate measure you can to it. [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm imagining, they did do something like that. [SPEAKER_03]: What happens to those things, like, so bye.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, after so if I do let's say I do the ritual and I summon some sort of mud demon, you know, to defend myself or my life or gollum or whatever. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, gollums and Jewish folklore exactly or other words you don't mention things like the other creatures you don't mention and summon in them. [SPEAKER_03]: And oh, oh, not doing it. [SPEAKER_03]: So sorry, I took you a second Jewish folklore.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, and if [SPEAKER_03]: I were to do that and, you know, complete it, make these things happen and then I die past away. [SPEAKER_03]: Does my, does it go away with me? [SPEAKER_03]: Or does it linger? [SPEAKER_03]: Does it stay? [SPEAKER_03]: How long does it stay? [SPEAKER_03]: Is it forever? [SPEAKER_04]: And those stories, that's kind of what it sounds like, is that it's, they're forever? [SPEAKER_04]: Or can't be?
[SPEAKER_04]: Or they could be, or they're more tied to the area. [SPEAKER_04]: So I guess that the area is destroyed, maybe they are destroyed with it. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, maybe, but it's the girl that had all those horrible things happened to her. [SPEAKER_04]: Huh? [SPEAKER_04]: And the tribe, you know, the shaman medicine man, I don't know their appropriate terminology.
[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, but whatever, and he did that, is it, even it was a her spirit, you know, guards that place in. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And how long is that last? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: because the central tribe still there. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And still in abundance, right? [SPEAKER_04]: So is it more that it's connected to protecting the tribe? [SPEAKER_03]: Not really the area. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: The swamp doesn't matter in that aspect. [SPEAKER_04]: It's the tribes people that matters if it was the baby. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: If it was that version. [SPEAKER_04]: Correct. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Where it was her because she was tortured, [SPEAKER_04]: molested and all that, right?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and then, you know, or were they, you know, could they have been so into, you know, in touch with nature and their land, you know, where they lived off of, where they unconscious, you know, it's some sort of contact with it, where they, the land itself is summoning the creature, creating it, and protecting itself, the force elemental. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Is that where that stuff comes from?
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, [SPEAKER_04]: Regardless nature is alive we know that nature is alive it's conscious down to the bugs of the trees of the fungus all in between all of them I guess was watching uh thing we'll do an episode on it uh about regret and animals They're just a new study came out about regret and species like animals have regret no way really [SPEAKER_03]: That's loud. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you didn't even, crabs have emotions. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah, it's true.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, we did talk about that. [SPEAKER_04]: And people forever like, ah, they don't feel pain. [SPEAKER_04]: Throw them in the pot of blood and water. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: That's not screaming. [SPEAKER_04]: That's gas escaping their shell. [SPEAKER_04]: Correct. [SPEAKER_03]: Gas escaping their little vocal cords and lungs. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, they don't vocal cords. [SPEAKER_03]: But they would, you know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_03]: With the equivalent. [SPEAKER_04]: Remember, our family, I did the same thing. [SPEAKER_04]: Or the giant laughter that was Peter and a pot and he's screaming. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't worry. [SPEAKER_04]: They don't feel it. [SPEAKER_03]: It's just gas. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: That's terrible. [SPEAKER_03]: So you put them in the freezer first. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and you just punch a knife in a little brain or that too.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, you'd freeze it first because they just fall asleep. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know where. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's a question. [SPEAKER_03]: Where do these things go? [SPEAKER_04]: But if I have it, it's more like the skinwalker where it's a made product or not a made a human. [SPEAKER_04]: is at the heart of it and it's transformed into something else.
[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, I mean, I think they live indefinitely, probably until killed by whatever means it would take, right, whatever that means and killing.
[SPEAKER_04]: From this story, and I don't know a lot about the seminal tribe, and I got pretend I do, but if this was a guardian against the conquistores in the 1500s and is obviously still being seen to this day, you know, I think it's more about the tribe than it is about the what [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, because you never hear about the Mossman destroying a, you know, a bulldozer that's crushing up wetlands. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, true. [SPEAKER_04]: But the seminal tribe still there.
[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_04]: The seminal tribe survived. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: One or two, if you put the intention, whatever of intention you put behind it, like you gave it a mission certain rules. [SPEAKER_03]: It has to make it to. [SPEAKER_04]: It could be or it could be more that the person that is at the core of it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: You know, where if it was the girl, let's say that the kind of key stores did that too, which the conkies doors, any occupying army or forest does that kind of thing. [SPEAKER_04]: But kind of key stores were famous for it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, being terrible, extra.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they were like gang is kind of like gang is, I was going to say, gang is up there with like that kind of stuff where chingists, they, you know, kill a whole village just to kill a whole village right before just because they just didn't want to [SPEAKER_04]: Conquer this one. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's didn't want to join the club.
[SPEAKER_04]: I even so we will dance on top of you until you're crushed So it could be that were or yeah, like if it's more golem ask depending on you and like Jewish folklore They talk about golem's and I don't know a lot. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not an expert in golem's and Jewish folklore Yeah, just from what I know have we done a golem episode kind of we done it with the [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, what's the thing? [SPEAKER_04]: A topa.
[SPEAKER_04]: We talked about gulms a little bit and some of our topa stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: So maybe that's something we need to explore a little deeper. [SPEAKER_04]: I know that the gulms like have either a piece of paper with like the rules are their task written and inserted in their head or their chest and over time, they can start breaking away from that task.
[SPEAKER_04]: So they are born without a soul or they're made out of soul or will, but kind of even like Yokeye style. [SPEAKER_04]: the longer they live, the more chances they have to start developing, I guess, personality and that kind of stuff really becoming part of this world.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: So there's stories like golem's like misbehaving or disobeying masters or even killing masters and some of those four colors because they were, they got too big of they lived too long or they were added too much to to the programming starts. [SPEAKER_04]: If you want to go [SPEAKER_04]: whether it's protected area or do manual labor or life just finds a way. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there's a lot there.
[SPEAKER_04]: And then this, but the cuts you kelp is in the same areas. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: So is it the forest itself, the swamp itself, just taking forms? [SPEAKER_04]: When we've talked to all kinds about vines and plants and things moving, yeah, a lot more anonymously than people believe they can. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: like trees waving at you and stuff like that.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm even talking about like some of our man eating trees and stuff we've talked about where they can react kind of quick. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, got you. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: So whatever this is even more so that the this the swamp there is connected in it could be even you could even go with the fungus network or anything like that, but it's all entuned and it's manifesting bodies to interact with the world.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, maybe even as defense mechanism, it could be the cut to kelp. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you know, what a horse is. [SPEAKER_04]: It's had horses walking all over it and people, you know, the boss man. [SPEAKER_03]: You're saying the cuts to kelp. [SPEAKER_03]: He could be one of the the same thing. [SPEAKER_03]: Same thing. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's interesting.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, let's even like I mentioned, the lead line all like monster, you know, it could be this kind of in the same thing with all the walking trees. [SPEAKER_03]: They could all be the same kind of phenomena as well, too. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, where do you draw the line? [SPEAKER_03]: But either way it's weird, there's weird stuff in the woods, especially the woods.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, there's just weird stuff out there, and that supernatural element to a part of it, if it can take multiple forms, multiple things, I guess you just can't rule it out for a lot of cryptid sightings. [SPEAKER_03]: Because like I said, where do you draw the line between biological creature and this supernatural force imitating a biological creature? [SPEAKER_03]: That's the best way to put it.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, because I, that's same thing like just big foot in general, trying to you know, explain the people that aren't into big foot like, you know, that aren't into the great detail. [SPEAKER_03]: So, but everybody knows just about everybody knows what big foot is when you mention it.
[SPEAKER_03]: But when you start breaking it down into the details and like what it actually is to some of that's not into this stuff or not into this field, but they're curious that you're just asking questions. [SPEAKER_03]: That's where I break it down. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what it is.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what big foot is because there's just so much evidence pulling it in so many different directions of what it could actually be to nail it down the one thing, but. [SPEAKER_03]: I do know the phenomenon, a big foot is real, but I just don't know what that phenomenon is. [SPEAKER_03]: What, whether it's physical or supernatural. [SPEAKER_04]: I think yes. [SPEAKER_03]: And then throwing this, I guess, example, like this.
[SPEAKER_03]: The Mossman, throwing that in there, with our descriptions, kind of how we're breaking it down, if big foot is just this elemental nature thing [SPEAKER_03]: I guess manifest itself into that form if they would just nature or even some kind of fungal network manifesting itself into that form or taking that form, you know, where do you draw the line between being an actual creature or something, imitating an actual creature are becoming that.
[SPEAKER_03]: What's that I want to say like archetype like that type of a creature a bipedal homin and type looking creature because I that's your like us humans, you know, that's a very efficient functional You know, form that you can take that gives you a lot of versatility us as humans can do a just about anything
[SPEAKER_04]: besides flying and but we have our brains and technology to overcome stuff like that now yeah the guys the guy has literally they make drone boards yeah and the reason they're not selling them is because the F there are not the the F's what's the flight one uh uh FAA yeah the FAA has control over them
[SPEAKER_03]: how that makes sense, I don't know how I feel about that with you being able to fly into wires and stuff like, I don't know, I don't know how the rules should be, I feel like yeah, I don't know either, but I feel like it's definitely a great area and I feel like feel like people want to fly, they should have the right to fly.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now over a certain height, then I can see [SPEAKER_03]: You know, people's lives are at least, it's like driving on the wrong side of the road, just shouldn't do it, whether it's like driving a non street, you know, vehicle on a road with a lot of traffic on it. [SPEAKER_03]: You got to be careful because you don't have blank, you don't have indicators, you don't have things that it requires to drive on that road to communicate with other drivers.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I can see that being like a regulation, but. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think there should be, if you built a flying machine or helicopter, you should have the right to fly it wherever you want, and it's just my opinion, I mean. [SPEAKER_03]: There should be no restrictions of your right to travel. [SPEAKER_04]: We hop back over. [SPEAKER_04]: Huh? [SPEAKER_04]: Hop back over to the swamp monster. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: The swamp monster.
[SPEAKER_03]: See, if you don't build a plane in the swamp monster, see Mossman. [SPEAKER_03]: You should have the right to do it. [SPEAKER_03]: Um, there you go. [SPEAKER_03]: There it is. [SPEAKER_04]: It just sounds like you're saying Mossman wrong. [SPEAKER_03]: Mossman. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: But I didn't even think about that. [SPEAKER_03]: But that would be a slight speech impediment. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: The Mossman.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's probably, I'd say, as a kid. [SPEAKER_03]: There was something. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know why that remind me of this, but when I was a kid for some reason I didn't I was like six or seven, but this memory's burned my brain because my parents always repeated it to me I didn't know like who cares? [SPEAKER_03]: I thought they said Sue cares So I'd say Sue cares Didn't even know what it meant like Sue cares.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he does didn't even know what it meant Sue cares because I guess I heard who cares a lot [SPEAKER_03]: Um, so yeah, they would always point at me and say, so you cares. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, like, yep, she does. [SPEAKER_03]: Cause I get all right. [SPEAKER_03]: It no. [SPEAKER_03]: Um, Elementals. [SPEAKER_03]: Elementals. [SPEAKER_03]: Elementals in disguise.
