The Abnormality of a Normal Christian

The hyper Pente-rascal movement today has brought in mega churches and mega problems. one of it i that it has deregulated the Christian faith walk so much so that the born again title is now a million for a penny.

This movement thrives through display of emotions, excited utterances, spiritual ecstasy and demonstration of feelings. The services are with social appeal with an eclectic orgy of soul music. The pastor is a motivational speaker not really a Gospel preacher. He must heat up the atmosphere with some gyrations and orations to charge people’s emotion for spurious healings and miracles, which are a mere placebo. But this is what some people think Christianity is and have thus accepted as normal what is really abnormal.

How did the church fall into this system, religion, and denomination doctrine? It is clear that God did not give us religion, including Christian religion: He gave us a Person, Christ Jesus. Christian must reject the new normal as religious knowledge is always a deterrent to spiritual revelation.
