ALMSGIVING: A Forgotten Church Tradition - Part 2 (Take Heed Series)

Almsgiving was not only a doctrine preached by Jesus and upheld by the Apostles, it was one of the fundamental traditions of the early church. However, Almsgiving has sadly disappeared from the pulpit today, no thanks to Pentecostal movement leaders. Possessed by the spirits of greed, materialism, and mammon, these Pente-rascals have changed the God-ordained practice from giving to the poor to giving to themselves. Jesus said there is a “reward” for this practice from “your heavenly Father” if you give correctly, to the right people, and at the right time.
