Episode description

Text of the Day: For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in fancy clothes and expensive jewelry, and another comes in who is poor and dressed in dirty clothes. If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one, “You can stand over there, or else sit on the floor”—well, doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives?. (James 2:2-4) Reflection Questions: 1 — Have you ever discriminated against someone because of how they looked? When and where did this happen? 2 —Where you ever wrong about the person you discriminated against? 3 —How can we be sure not to do this in our lives? 4— Are there some limits we should have on our hospitality?
