This is raising concerns over whether some individuals may have ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), or whether the CCP could be using some of the illegal immigrants for its own purposes. Congress is now planning to investigate what role the CCP has in the mass migration, and whether this could tie into its military interests or its programs for espionage.
