One of our biggest problems with the Bible isn’t actually a Bible problem. It’s an authority problem—we hate being told what to do. Today we’re going to talk about how following an authority actually brings freedom.
The Bible can be confusing, controversial, or even outright offensive. It can also change your life. Today we’re going to talk about why the Bible is our single best way to encounter God.

Symbols are weird if we don’t know what they mean, and Palm Sunday is full of symbols. Today we’re going to look at what Jesus was doing as he started his last week of life on Earth, and what it means for us 2000 years later.
This is our moment. Today we get a chance to choose a different obsession. We get to step away from a world that simply wants to consume us, and to demonstrate that we are obsessed with God and his mission for the world.
God owns everything, and he has generously blessed us with everything we have. Everywhere else in life, our money is tied to our obsession. If we are obsessed with His kingdom, then our life should be marked by radical generosity.
God offers one antidote to the barrage of obsessions surrounding us—to seek His kingdom. One catch though: this isn’t a solo sport. If we truly want to seek God’s kingdom, we have to be connected to the church.
The right obsession can change history. Yet there are three temptations constantly tugging at us, trying to pull us toward a meaningless, burdened, and wasted life. If we’re going to choose the right obsession, we have to recognize the wrong ones.
Obsession is a great thing. If you want to have a life of impact, you have to be obsessed. But you have to choose to be obsessed with the right things.
