And with that, I bring it to James James man. A lot of big lines out there this week in the Big Ten.
It's a it's kind of scary out there. It's it's interesting, but I think we got a few few games that I'm keying in on it like a few few of the numbers out there so hopefully we can win some money again this week. Get yourself some Hoodie money. Yeah, we won last week, good call on the over on the Ohio, State game, I did really well on that game. I used I don't want to say James advice because I've been doing it as well for a while.
I'll but I will call it the James advice, I waited until that game was like in the second quarter it was a tight game. I got Ohio State only to cover a think of six and a half point line at that point I felt pretty comfortable got a little more nervous but I won the over. I had a parley of Ohio State moneyline plus, I think Stroud like 300 yards passing and and the money line again, or sorry, the over. And then I won the the in-game bet. So Oh yeah, I did really well in the Ohio State game.
Yeah, the over was not looking very good there for a while. In fact, I think I tweeted something, like I'm going to throw the damn hermana go away. So the flurry of points there in the fourth quarter really helped us out. So it was, it was nice to get that, you know, sometimes you get the bad beat, sometimes you walk out a win, I think we got a little lucky there. So that was, that was kind of nice. That was a nice one. I will say watching, it was nice.
We were out with the family did a little like, Pumpkin Festival around here but came home. Watch the fourth quarter saw, my bets win, which is always nice, but watching the fourth quarter, that game will know it in two weeks when we play them. But Ohio, State's brightening, like, when they turned it on, they just turned it on and Penn State. That's not an easy place to play. I don't think Penn State's a bad team and they just they, when they hit the throttle, it was, it was wild.
It kind of you. When you watch the game, you kind of felt like they're real close to just breaking the doors. Soph and how long can Penn State? Hold on, and they held on for three and a half quarters, which was longer than I thought they would. But but then it just happened, you know. It's like they're like water, you know, there are, you know, and the other teams defenses are just a damn, and it's just only a matter of time.
It's eventually going to happen. That sounds like something Ryan day would have up on the wall. Like be the water. Don't be the dam or something. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know how clever Ryan dais Yeah. He's a shave beard. Not a good. Look on him. All right, let's go with me. Look first the colored beer. Yeah. Yeah. Just for men. Fake coloring in the beard. It's no good. Well, I think that's just natural hair. I don't think it Colours is beard.
No, there's no way that color is natural. Hi. I would disagree with you. I would bet the under on the amount of Just For Men he uses I bet there's something in there, there's something may not be the gene Keady spray but if there's something he's using well, he's younger than me. Why would you color it? I don't know. That color looks unnatural, I may be wrong. Okay, well deep deep Ryan day beard, talk here today on drugs and cash. The three listeners we had of all checked out.
All right, let's go to the lines. I wish you would have kept track of all the, the Iowa over under Point totals because they are ridiculously low, all season and rightfully. So I was at Purdue, Iowa is a three and a half Point Underdog, and the over-under is 39 on this game. Do you like it was 39 and a half yesterday? I like the under in this game and I'm going to tell you why West Lafayette is getting some
weather had their way tomorrow. They're predicting 40 to 50 mile an hour wind gusts and rain so that might help kind of shut down the Purdue passing attack a little bit. And I think that we're going to see something like maybe 20 to 17 or something like that. We'll see a defensive touchdown. I like the under in this game also ate and O'Connell prop for his passing yards, is it to ninety four and a half.
I like the under there as well. If you're looking to play a little prop bet, and if you're going to give me to choose on the spread on this one, I would take Iowa plus three and a half, just because it's over that field goal. If you like the boilers wait till kickoff, that line will move a half a point as soon as the game kicks off.
So, I mean, you know, that's one of those things, you know, maybe wait a little bit if you Do I think this game is going to be close to the whole game, so I think you're going to be able to get around three points. Probably most the game. Okay, why do you think it's going to immediately drop a half point one thing I've noticed. Okay, so this is really weird. I've noticed these lines when you're looking at like a game, just starting on like DraftKings and it goes from pregame to
live. So let's say, produce a three and a half Point favorite, right? And they kick to Iowa as soon as I would gets on offense, it's going to move, two, three. Points on the live line, I don't know why but it doesn't like almost every time that I'm watching for it. And so if you're if you're really wanting to have Point here there, I've seen it happen.
So you've been you gotta be johnny-on-the-spot with this stuff, you know and really be looking for it know what you want but those lines move pretty quickly. As soon as the game starts, you get a half Point movement almost immediately. That's great advice. Good stuff. And I just literally while we were talking I live bet the I think you're right on that. I think it's going to affect Iowa's offense. Just the fact they're playing is going to affect Iowa's offense.
All right, we have Maryland at Wisconsin. Maryland is a five-point Underdog. Just making sure I'm getting this right? Yeah, they are a five point Underdog. So Wisconsin is favored at home even though Wisconsin's for and for Maryland's, 6 and 2, I guess, based on who they played. I mean I kind of like there's so many big lines out this week.
I was thinking that, you know, her Penn State covering that 14, might be the harmonica bet for me, but I'm gonna go ahead and say I like Maryland to cover that 5. I might even like Marilyn Monroe. Line but I'm going to say Maryland. Plus 5 is the harmonica bet. It is not oh God Applause. I do like Marilyn plus 5 but I'm this is why it's not the harmonica bet Wisconsin's. Bit me a couple times here because they don't seem to suck as bad anymore.
And so that's my concern. Home game in Madison, you know, is Marilyn going to be up for that. You know. So they concerns me a little bit. I think Maryland's the better team and I think five points is a lot to be giving them. So I do like them but not enough to make it the harmonica bet man. I thought I thought we were there I mean you know funny you say that Wisconsin is a suck anymore. It's amazing what a coaching change does and read into that what you will?
Alright. Minnesota is at Nebraska. Minnesota is a 16-point favorite going into Lincoln. Yeah, the over-under on this thing's 46. We seemed kind of low to me. This will be 40 45 and a half on a bed mg/l. This will be a Minnesota, will get out like a, you know, 6:39 lead, 6:36 and the game of kind of hover around that number. I think probably because they're just going to take the air out of the ball and run it. I think they'll be able to do that against Nebraska.
I think Minnesota, probably covers. I don't super love it but I think they definitely win this ball game. Ohio State traveling to Northwestern Ohio, state is a 38 and a half Point favorite. It is a huge line. I think the real question is, what lines? Here's the real question. I want to ask you about this game. What line is going to be bigger? This one, thirty eight and a half or the line next week. What Ohio state is home to Indiana? That's the question. I want to ask you. Huh.
I think this line will be higher, okay, because Ohio state was what They were what 14 point or 15 Point against Penn State and Penn State's 14-point against I you. So I assume next week we'll probably see somewhere around 34 and a half or something. Yeah, I would, I would say next week is, it depends how this week goes II. Have a hard time seeing Indiana being a 40 Point Underdog, going into Ohio state that said it's at Ohio State. And if we get throttled by Penn State, it could be.
But I tend to agree 40 points as a serious number anyway. Once again, another week, we're house dates double-digit favorite. Tell us what you think these are stay away games for me. But what do you like here? Well, I think they'll cover this really will be like you have 49 2749 210, something like that. I think the over might barely hit or the over hits, because Ohio state did it by themselves. So I think Ohio State probably wins this.
The only thing would be, you know, are they, you know, not really paying attention to Northwestern because there was a, you know, they're looking ahead to the Hoosiers next week. So is that going to be a distraction for him? I would watch out for that but I think The Buckeyes probably cover this. Michigan State a little bit of life, but they are, they played Michigan tough for a little bit.
Then they didn't, they are a 17 point Underdog going into Illinois, who would have thought that beginning of the Season? Like I would have loved like, obviously, they're not doing like future lines. This far deep into a season, but I would have loved to have seen where a future line. If this game was first game of the season, I mean you probably would have had like it almost would have been flipped but Way. Michigan State going in as a 17 point Underdog in the champagne.
What was I, you Week? 1 against Illinois? That's a great question. I feel like it was all worn a half. It was four and a half. Yeah, and yeah. And now, Illinois, 17-point favorite against Michigan State, unbelievable? Yeah. So the over-under on, this thing is 41, which is a really low, I think there's a chance, Michigan Steak, get some garbage time. I'm points and hit a back door. Cover on that over but I think Illinois probably wins this
game. 17, that's a big number. I would stay away from this game if you're forcing me to pick anything on this game. I'll take over 41. Okay. Yeah, I'm this game freaks me out of it. I haven't watched a ton of Michigan State. I watched some of that Michigan State Michigan game and my watch some of the Michigan State Washington game, which I know was a while back, there's still times of Michigan State plays
tough defense. Like they're not a complete disaster and I could see I think them winning in. Illinois is not like a bridge too far. Well they're capable. Getting a big player to on offense to. Yeah, you know, I mean, they've got a couple of, they've got a big play mentality, they will take deep shots. And so when you take enough deep shots, eventually, hit one or two, so, you know, it does get
there. There would seem I don't like betting, like especially at this level, like I feel like they're going to crush one of these lines at some point but also maybe even just like moneyline when I'm not saying it's going to be this week, but they're they feel? Oh better. And a little more Punchy than a 17 point Underdog. Well, I mean, they one is outright dogs at home against Wisconsin. So, I mean, they, you know, they've blown up some parlays
already this year. So would not put us in a parley, all right? That leaves us with Indiana, Penn State Penn State at Indiana Penn State, forgot, Michigan, Oh my gosh, I just rolled out. You're right, you're right. I didn't, I didn't scroll all the way down my bad. Another big line mishkin is at Rutgers Michigan. Again, is kind of in another realm of like, are they good? But another ranked fifth, but they also started ranked High.
They're beating a lot of bat. They can definitely beat the bad teams, but like, are they good? Don't know, but we won't know again after this week, Michigan is a 25 and a half Point favorite. It's a trucker's, take the Wolverines here and I this is my theory behind this. Okay, if you ever noticed when they're introducing the Michigan players, like they're all from like Connecticut or New York or New Jersey like somehow they're all from the East Coast.
So my guess is this is a big like Showcase Event for Jim Harbaugh and his recruiting efforts on the East Coast. So I think they're going to run up the score. Blow the hell out of Rutgers I think they went by for Touchdown so yeah take that 25 and I really like that theory. I also think that what you I think that's a, that's a great Theory. I will bet that based on faith that I'm James has that. I really like that.
I would also say this, that, if your Michigan, you've got to start playing a little bit of like, you know, three-dimensional chess here. And what I mean is, you're probably not going to beat Ohio State. If your, if your Michigan like that mean, if you beat Ohio State, you're fine, you're in the playoff, you're good. But the more likely scenario, Rio's, you don't beat Ohio State. You've Got to.
Now, find a way in to the college football, playoff if you can and it's like, you know, Ohio State's going to take a spot, you know, that, you know, Tennessee's playing Georgia this week, which I want to ask you about two but that that winner, you know, is probably going to make it.
Maybe Alabama comes in like you're at a point where it for you to still have a path in you've got to play Ohio State really tight but you probably got to start really Really crushing in some of these last few games. So I also can see a world where they just run the living hell up on that score. Because it's like we're trying to get up to like the 4th ranking. Well, and the over-under on this is 45. Michigan might hit that by themselves. That's a great call. That's a great call.
Yeah. All right. Wow, good thing. I scroll down in almost didn't forget that, that's a great call. I like a lot of stuff on that game. I like it almost too much, so we're probably going to get crushed. Its gonna be like, when I 22:17 going into the fourth quarter and it's like what it's what is
going on? All right, that brings us to Penn State. Let's I miss any other big 10 games Penn State at Indiana II. This was my second choice for the harmonica game, but obviously, I was incorrect. You have Penn State coming in as a 14-point favorite, I'm going to assume that I'm going to hear the harmonica and I'm going to assume that you're having me bet on Penn State to cover that 14-point line, but I will leave it to you. You are correct. My friend.
In fact, if you go to FanDuel they've got it at 13 and a half 0 which is where I've already placed my bet. So just an FYI there but I don't think you're going to have to worry either way. Quite honestly last year. What was a 24 to nothing is like? That is what Penn State won by. I think we're going to see a similar effort here. Do you know who the starting
quarterback is for IU? I would assume it's still going to be Bay's. Like right, I mean that's my assumption because it matter does, it matter? I mean was it unless antwaan, Randle Elle walks out that tunnel, it doesn't matter. So, you know, the only thing here is Penn State is chomping at the bit to play some Phenom freshman quarterback that they've got it, so they may bring him in. I don't know how it'll affect their scoring, but I'm guessing if he's such a, you know.
Prized recruit, he's going to Penn State. He's probably pretty damn good. So I magical be able to move the ball but, you know, on the offensive side of the ball, I don't know what the Hoosiers are going to be able to do against Penn State. I mean, Penn State played Ohio State, very, very very closely for 3/4. There's I mean, I don't know how many points that users can possibly think of putting up and, and we know that they give
up a lot of points. So I think at this this has disaster written all over it. Do you also have you mentioned the wind advisory in West Lafayette? There's also a current wind advisory in Bloomington. I haven't looked into it but I know it goes from 8:00 to 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to 3:30, kick off. I'm assuming there's still going to be some strong winds.
If that means that Indiana's got to play on the ground, that is not good for this crap to run the ball like you're talking about quarterback and it's like, all right we got to run the ball with our, you know whatever. Like, you know, one and a half two yards average per run, that's not great, especially when Penn State has two absolute studs back at running back. I could easily see one or both of them. Breaking a 70 e + yd, run some point during the game.
I agree with you. I think this is a complete Get Right game for Penn State. It's in a good spot. I think this is also. I've mentioned this at length many times in different podcasts. It's I hate the Trope of. Oh it's you know, November all in Indiana fans was in the basketball to know. You'll most fans are into sports that Really don't suck and are fun to watch and unfortunately, I you football doesn't meet that category in, you know, October November December.
And so I just think we're going to be at that point where there's not going to be a ton of fans in the crowd. It's not going to be a you know great home environment. I hope I'm wrong but I think we're at that point in the season and so it's going to be kind of a lackluster crowd and the last thing I will say is this season has shown us that the more tape other Is have on Indiana, the better they seem to do. And this this team is kind of Indiana seems to be on a downward Trend.
And the only explanation you really have for that Illinois, game is as you joked on our last pot, maybe, you know, Alan was right. Play the quarterback game. Like there's wasn't a lot of tape and what we did and it looked like they weren't quite sure what to do. And it seems like as more and more tape has gotten out teams. Have a better better feel for how to attack and go at this team. And definitely halftime adjustments are not in our corner.
Just I'm with you this this feels like a disaster all over the place well and you know what really concerns me as last year. I really felt like the team gave up the end towards the end of the year and they just didn't try. You know, you get that feeling you, you know, I hate to say that but it looked like that, you know, and I'm worried that we're about to see that same thing happened. I mean, the season's over, you know, there's no chance of a bowl game. There's, you know, I mean, they
go out and they get down. Two touchdowns at home on a you know Saturday November and this is the done with it, you know, I mean you know Camp campers and everybody who's good is injured, you know, I mean so it's a it's a bad situation. I'm worried they're going to fold like they did last year and with Penn State and Ohio State this week. And next week, it could get really, really ugly. Yeah. Well, you're already kind of see, you know. I don't think they gave up a,
they didn't have that. Give up feel, but you you lose a game at Rutgers. Like just a gave you have to get, you don't get it. It's like I really it's weird that I'm saying this where I was 24 months ago feeling like Tom Allen had a really good pulse on the psyche of his team in the motivational piece but you know, all I can say for recent history is he seemed to get them over hyped for the Outback Bowl.
So like it seemed like he, you know, over throttle bat and then, you know, last year he did a he or the coaching staff did a very poor job of keeping that team locked in. They, like you said, they gave up the team, even admitted like their, you know, their explanation was. There are some bad apples and yada yada yada, all right?
Well it but if it feels like it's happening again and I'm agreeing with you that it feels like it really could happen again in this game where you just, you get down 7 to 10, you can't throw, it's windy, you can't run your offense isn't doing. Anything and then maybe you get down to 14 and it's like the light. At the end of the tunnel is gone. That you're staring at Ohio State at Ohio State next week.
It's like it's it I'm with you you could see the light kind of being choked out of this team during this game. Yeah, I went to a Penn State like blog site or whatever, just to see what I say fans were saying, yeah, because it was like, Get Right game for the Nittany. Lions, I'ma go, let's check this out and it was like reading the bill schwer ski super fans like their predictions.
It was like, you know, Penn State 922 I you for, you know, I mean the closest one was 34 to 17 but they they all agreed that it was just going to be blowout. Another Penn State was going to join to annihilate them and why would they not believe that? You know and so I always find it interesting you know what are the other you know was the other teams fans? Thank and they don't think they think much of yourself and I think rightly rightfully so, you know this?
Yeah I did that. Yeah. And the last thing I'll say for Penn State is, you know, they they feel like they've fallen into this this spot in the big Ten, which is where I'd love. I you to be at some point in my life, but they're, they're a notch below the upper echelon. Like they're obviously a notch below Ohio State there a notched. It seems like below Michigan now, but they're the next best. And they can pretty much beat up on everybody else, and they don't lose.
They don't lose those games or suppose they're supposed to win. They don't get tripped up here, there they really are good at beating the bad teams and then it's like, they just need to work on their upper echelon. Stop. And you can say what you want about James Franco. It's like maybe you can't doesn't have the horses to compete with Ohio State or can't win the big ones.
But it's like he has shown he very similar to Harbaugh like he they can beat up on all the other teams in the Big Ten and this is one of those games where I think it's going to happen. Yeah. Well let's not forget the reason those top three are the top three is they have the best recruits. I mean hearing your out. The best recruits in the country that go to the Big Ten schools, go to those three schools. And so you know that there's a reason for It in college football, that makes a huge
difference. Except here we seem to get better recruits and doesn't they don't show up on the field. Well we go. I mean we get we got one recruit that would go to like an Ohio State or Penn State and he stands out on the field compared to everybody else. Right? To some McCullough is noticeable on that football field as a true freshman and Penn State's roster is littered with those guys, what are your odds McCullough's on this team next year, is he playing for Notre Dame?
And it's the biggest joke but it feels like it's going to be real and I don't know I mean is going to name that much If I were him, I go somewhere. Sunny and warm. Yeah, good UCLA. Do you play us in two years? Yeah, I'd go wherever the ni L money was the most if it were me but you know fair and you know, I mean that's what I'd do but but I'm not I'm not a world-class athlete in college. So don't as now you're not, have you ever smoked your heater yet today? All right.
Let's go. Let's go is Hawaii off. No, they're not. Hawaii is at Fresno State, my bad. And they are a 27 and a half Point Underdog. I've got to be honest, we go through this every week. I kind of, I'm just not able to stay awake that late and a lot of the games are on garbage networks that I'm YouTube TV doesn't carry. How have you been doing betting the Rainbow Warriors were wearing bow? Warriors this year I've tossed
him in a parley. I do a late-night parlay like a West Coast parlay and they're all One of the legs in it. And so when I wake up to go to the bathroom, in the middle of night, I can check my parlay is here on in you, since the games, don't start till midnight. It's weird because like, your parley or show up on your Sunday, totals. You know, I hadn't is the fourth leg on a parley and the other three legs it hit, but they didn't start till technically Sunday. So, so I showed up, I started
football set Sunday with a win. So, it was nice. So, I've been doing all right with them, they lose a lot. So it's pretty easy to do. Well, actually this one I like the under 63. Why is not going to be able to score and I don't think Fresno will put up that much. I think the numbers kind of run on the ballroom, the clock out. So I kind of like the under here. But if I'm going to take the spread, I think the Rainbow Warriors will probably cover, but I think the under is the

be really crazy going. You know, at the Morehead State game, I do, I might cost five bucks on it or something, but you'll see it on Twitter. I'll say that, I'll put my every IU game. Y'all have a post of what I would bet on it. So okay, do they have, you know, they have like, future Heisman picks. They have future like Player of the Year stuff in Kali. Do they do they have Naismith Player of the Year watch list and they have, you know, final for futures and Conference winner. Futures.
And so all sorts of Futures bets out there. You can get TJ D to when player the year, I will sit with the odds for that. I can't remember the eyes off the top of my head, but I do remember they were like the same exact Edie's. So it was like in the top 10 of odds to win it. I think Oscar she Buey was the number one favorite for that. Okay. Yeah. Let's see what we'll check this out. Maybe you can. You can post your thoughts on Twitter about that will push
