So we had a really good weekend, last weekend. Maryland also helped out on a
big parlay that I had posted. It was a five plus five. Oh, three ODS three-leg parlay, that hit. We have Maryland on the money line in that one. So and even that was dicey for a while as I'm sure, you know, because you're probably watching the Terps since you had a little action as well. So, Yeah, II had some good, it's nice to see I you win. I was also able to make a little money on, you know, Western Michigan and that point line.
So it was nice to see that kind of hit right where you want to or Indiana. Still gets the W but you're able to make a little money. Yeah. I was able to thread the needle there and actually took the Hoosiers in game and got them on the money line at plus 4 10. So I won that and then I had a the hilltoppers plus the points. So Yeah, it's great. That's the best way to win.
I did one of my first like first first quarter bets betting that a Western Kentucky. Would I think they were a three point Underdog in the first quarter? I'm like Indiana just started out slow. So I won that. I've never done a quarters bet in college before but hey you're taking me down the rabbit hole. I love it. Hey you feel good about it didn't you? I did.
Yeah, it's great way. So let's look at This week's in Big, Ten lines will save the Indiana game for last, but these are not in time order, but I will get started with a Chattanooga at Illinois. I'm assuming, this is just a big ten west opponent. I'm assuming, you're just based on anybody in the Big Ten West, and their garbage, that's who it is. But we have Illinois is a nineteen and a half Point favorite over Chattanooga. Yeah, who the hell knows? I'm just gonna think don't bet
this folks. Good God. Here's the deal. If I had to bet it gun to my head, I take the Ojai and I, I just because Chattanooga's spectacularly, bad, but I have no basis other than that. So, and I know Bret, Bielema likes to run up the score if possible. So knowing those two things I would take the Illini and give them points, but I will be staying away from this one, your, your latest team, the Terps Maryland is going to Michigan.
I feel like every year it's like, we're not sure if Michigan's good or not, they just started ranked eighth and so they just kind of stay there. But their fourth in the country, they are also a 17 and 17 point favorite over. Maryland, you like the Terps and points again, this week. This is an interesting game here because you're right. Michigan has played absolutely no one. I mean Yukon runs out of high school Squad. Maryland hasn't really played by until the last week.
They played a very good SMU team that can put points on the board. Um, Maryland, got lucky made a few stops, but that is one boneheaded team. They make a lot of self-inflicted Errors, a lot of false starts, Not A Holdings in key situations and I don't think that they're going to cover this. I think Michigan will roll on them, but I really like the over here, C over sixty four and a half.
And I know that's a high number. But I do think Marilyn will be able to put some points on the board, and I do not think they are going to be able to stop. Michigan it at At all. So I like the over in that game. Next up, we have Central Michigan at Penn State Penn State. Also getting a lot of love after beating Auburn ranked 14th in the country. They are 28 point favorites over Central Michigan. This this I don't want to answer for you but got it feels like a stay away.
I'm not going to actively be betting it but I have love for touchdowns for Central Michigan. I just think that's way way too much. They're going to be able to score though, they will put up some points. I think they In Oklahoma State earlier this year, lost by 14 points, it was like forty eight 234, you know, one of those classic Oklahoma State games. But syndrome is, you can put up points. So I'm going to say, take the
chips in the points. All right, here's where your expert witness needs to be called on James because we have the captain of weird line movement teams and so that Michigan State Washington line last week. I think I move like 45 points throughout the the time of the been up. Now, you have Minnesota at Michigan, State and Michigan State. Who's ranked 11th last week. The line started with Minnesota being a one and a half Point favorite or sorry.
One and a half Point Underdog Minnesota, on the road is now a three-point favorite. What's going on here? I don't know his Michigan State imploded did Michael penix kill their will to live. That's a 4, that's a 4 and a half Point swing and making Michigan State who again was just ranked. And I will say like they did, you know, penix did beat them and they looked that game looked bad at times at Michigan state. Did not look bad.
It's not like they looked awful, they had moments where they were their defense. Look, good, their offense made some moves me. They didn't look horrible in a, in a, not a great loss, but to be a 3 Point Underdog at home is, it's, it's a wild lion, what's going on? James, but what do I think about this Scott? Let me answer your question. This is, why would you put your money this week? Scott take takes party, is home dogs, and getting points. Getting a field goal at home.
This is ridiculous. Do it Minnesota is also just like Michigan plate. Absolutely, no one Trooper per usual for them. Yeah, but their best wide receiver is now out for the year. Chase ottman Bell. He's gone injured. So, you know, without that, how are they going to just in the passing game? I think Michigan State Is going to be able to focus enough on the Run game to, you know, take Ibrahim, you know, at least slow him down a bit. So I likes party at home is dogs coming off a nasty loss.
Do I jump to take the points or take them on the money line? It take the point, okay, I like that, here's a line that hasn't moved at all, opened up with Iowa being a seven and a half Point favorite at Rutgers. It is still Iowa, a seven and a half Point favorite. A trucker's other home, dog. The over-under, on this game is 34. The Iowa over, unders are always fun this week, but who do you like here, a little tip for you, folks.
Whatever you see the Iowa over. Under, just figure out how many safeties it's going to take to achieve, and that's how Kirk Ferentz does it. But 717 here, once again, I'm going to take a home dog. I want points at home and I'm getting over a touchdown against Iowa team that doesn't score touchdowns in general. I think that's going to be a really boring, horrible football game to watch but I love it. This is almost where your money went Scott because I hate you.
Thank you for not, making me watch this game, but that is exactly why I didn't put it. There was like, man, he's not going to have to sit through that crap. So so but give me Rutgers, I have put money on this game already as well. You touch that over under. if I, No, but if I were going to my head, I'd probably take the under, that's wild under it. 34 points on a college football game against to Conference teams, power 5. So I've been told 8:44 that is my prediction for final score.
Okay. I'm going to write that down and we're going to revisit that. Once you bet it, you can bet like, final score prediction. Can you like put two books on that? I will. That would be fantastic if you had a 25 dollar Free Bet On It. There you go. Yes. Cruising hang, it goes to the Bahamas. Yeah, really. Yeah. We reject that you're hosting. Wisconsin. Wisconsin and Ohio, State Ohio State is keeping their streak alive here on Crimson cash. As we said, I think it's very possible. They're going to be a 10-point favorite or more for the rest of the games this season. We were worried about that Michigan State game. That's not going to have Michigan State. Can't even be a favorite at
home. The only option is going to be that Michigan game, but I let's Michigan's undefeated going into it, it's so. Anyway, Ohio state is a 18 and a half Point favorite over Wisconsin. This line has moved a little bit of started at 15. Do you like the Buckeyes to cover this at 15? I would have immediately said, yes, take it. I do like them to cover, the 18 and a half, I like the over in this game the over 57. The Buckeyes are getting good.
I think the office he heard the click now and I think that's going to spell trouble for everybody else. I don't know how many points Wisconsin is going to be responsible for. But Ohio State's defense is still a little suspect and they're going to have to throw. I mean they're not going to be able to, you know, just pound clock. I don't think so. I think the Buckeyes cover but I like the over in that game. Do you think Ryan Day, shaves, his beard this would this year?
I don't know. The whole that beard is odd-looking, it looks like something like a non-playable character would have in a video game. Like it's it looks like it's very, very fake. Like it's like my it's like my brother using his Just For Men like die. He's like, nobody can tell, Mike, everybody can tell like you know like so it's just it's odd and I hope he does. Shame it, it looks beautiful a handlebar mustache so that'd be great double.
Yeah, this is like what you do and like, you know, the the what is like the November when One grows beer and then you just shave it and get the wild mustaches like he needs to do that. Alright. For the Atlantic at Purdue. I mean, if Purdue loses this we got to start talking about Brahman the hot seat, right? I mean that's fantastic, but they are a nineteen and a half Point favorite. I mean, I'd love to put two bucks on the Florida, Atlantic money line, but it's not going
to happen. Who do you like here, by the way? They're already talking about. Braun being on the hot seat. I know. I know but it was is a god Frost may have that can be our new We can move on from frost to Brom I like the boilers to cover. I think they should win this by three touchdowns. I think they're under some pressure to win big after the humiliation of last week. Which by the way did you watch that fourth quarter that game? I did not. I saw highlights but I didn't watch it live.
I had the over in that game. Oh nice. It was like over 62 and a half. There were like 20 points. Going into the fourth quarter and there. Our 43 points scored the fourth quarter. So I looked like it was just a total dead in the water bent and up hitting. So I don't think Ford Atlantis. We have to put the those kinds of points though. So I think the boilers leave them in the Dust by more than 19
and a half. And again, give it up to the Big Ten West teams Purdue playing Florida, Atlantic. And then Northwestern playing Miami of Ohio, just, you know, the quality opponents all the time from Big Ten West teams, it's so annoying. Northwestern is home to Miami of Ohio. Northwestern is a seven and a half Point favorite. Shout out to my boy. Jay Dee who was a Miami Redskin at the time.
I think they changed it to Red Hawks when he went there and I'm going to take Miami Plus at Touchdown in a half Northwestern. They are the worst team in the Big Ten and I don't think it's particularly close, they're pretty bad. So yeah, give me a Miami, plus a touchdown and a half. Speaking of possible, bad teams in the Big Ten, we have our Indiana Hoosiers. You talk about line movements, Good Golly.
Indiana opened as a eight and a half Point Underdog, they are now a 16 and a half Point Underdog at Cincinnati Vegas. I think it's fair to say was highly unimpressed with our win over Western Kentucky. That's a hit, that's a huge jump. That's that's a that's a big big number jump. James, give us your thoughts on
this one. Well, if you're, if you follow me on Twitter, I have been over this line movement and I was, I actually snagged the Hoosiers. +17 the number got up to 17, and then it immediately went back down few hours later. And so, I got them +17, I don't know that I love having that bed out there, but I figured that was probably as good as I was going to get, they should be able to cover that.
I hope they cover it. The over-under on this game is 57, I think the over is probably the play there. You know, here's the question, you know, how many points is I use obviously being put upon this defense. How good is this Insanity defense actually? Well, Arkansas put up some points on them, you know, are they comparable to Illinois? I mean, we were able to have some success there, although, limited against Illinois, you know, and so it's just kind of tough to figure out how the
Hoosiers are going to get. Points, but I do think they will. I think Walt Bell has kind of figured out. Hey, moving faster. And a little bit of tempo is really like, in our favor. At least. I hope he's figured that out because the thing drives me nuts. Frank Reich, does this as well for the Colts is hey this is really been working. We don't want to do it too much. What like, that makes no sense to me.
So, you know, I don't know who's your, don't get into that mind state, but I think they can score and I think they're going to give up. Some serious points as well. So I think it's a high scoring game. I think it goes over but I think the Hoosiers cupboard. Okay. I mean, the one thing that does make me nervous is Indiana, is 110th in the country and Red Zone efficiency. So you need us, you need Indiana to get a couple of touchdowns to hit that 57 and a half over.
Yeah, this is this is a yeah 60 and a half's, a big is also a big number. You get a lot of points there. I'm just I'm very suspect that our offense is going to be able to do enough. And again I think I've always said the season, I think our defense is good but it's Going to be continually put in precarious situations by our offense. Yeah, you know, in my advice to somebody on this game as maybe, you know, if you're not comfortable with this 16 and a half.
Yeah, we're taking a side on either way of it, wait till the game starts, you know, you can still get good value in game especially after like, you know, the first touchdown is scored. You'll usually see some pretty good wind movement there. You know you know when ball gets into the Red Zone, you'll see line movement, you know. So those Kinds of things.
You know, you've watched enough football, I watching a football, I'm guessing the listeners have watched a lot of football, you know, when a team is about to go on a run, you know what a teens about the, you know, you can kind of get a sense if you're watching the game, that might be your play here. Yeah, I mean, I kind of do like the in-game the in-game bets a lot. I feel like you can get a better field. Normally the lines are like you said are pretty good. In that first second quarter
range. Their time you get past halftime. It's pretty well solidified. But I'm with you. I normally do a lot of parlays pre-game start but I kind of like waiting on games like this till to kind of get a feel for it and then get get my money in like I was able to still get Washington at a pretty good
line. During that Washington, Michigan State game, where after the first series mokou panics is back like I'm on Washington hard and the number I forget what it was that had moved that much yet. Yeah. And you know, maybe that. Yeah, that's the strategy, you know. Hey, I want to see how player a looks or. You know, I want to see, you know, because the Hoosiers pick
up a first down rushing. It's like, Be possible, you know, and after two plays you like, yeah, that's just not going to happen today is, you know, like, you know, one of those things are maybe you know what you're looking for and then once you can see it, then you bet. Yep. All right, I'm going to look up. Are we finished the Big Ten? Let's find our friends OHS. Oh, here we go. We have our Hawaii rainbows. They are. Wow. They're playing New Mexico state who's Owen for they're still not
favorite weather on the road. They are a Four and a half Point Underdog over New Mexico State. Give us sure you give us your rainbows take Okay, this may be the worst football game. This may be worse than Miami Northwestern as far as like to bad teams getting together, but I am going to take the Rainbow Warriors plus the points. Okay and if you want points you can get a plus 5 on DraftKings right now. Okay, I'm writing that down. There's James putting the money
down. Wow, just look at the team staff. The offense of rank for Hawaii is bad. 118th and Resident, efficiency, 105 and third down conversions, 117, the country and first downs, 108 and passing yards, 109th and rushing yards, 124th and yards per play. That is a brutal. You sure you were reading India, the Indiana line. Well, hey Hawaii. Off a victory. So you know big win last week for the Rainbow Warriors. They were late three and a three like nighttime parlay. So that was a lot of fun.
