And Upland Brewery with the Hoosier game day logger, the iconic can. I'll be drinking some this weekend. Go check them out wherever Hoosier Upland Brewery is sold. And please drink responsibly. Go Hoosiers. So James, my son last year was an Ant for Halloween. Ant costumes are not sold. So my wife made a homemade Ant costume with a black thorax I guess, and filled it like well, she made a pillowcase. Black pillowcase. That was the thorax.

There we go. That's such a teacher mom thing to do. I know, I know, I know, I know. So he he had that for all year and then this year he's like, I want to be a red Ant and we're like, well, dude, that we're not doing it again in red. So he's like, I'll be a fire Ant and I'll wear a fireman costume with my aunt costume. We're like great, that's good. The job today after school was to look for the Ant costume. We looked high and low, could

not find the Ant costume. It is currently 416 on Halloween Eve. So he's like I, oh, I have a bee costume. So I'll be a fire bee. I'll wear. I'm like great. Like I love it. He's so easy going. He's you know, it's like great because you're going to be whatever we can throw together now at this point, there is no more getting a new costume or you're going to get whatever is on the shelf at Halloween Spirit Halloween. We don't want to go into that. So, Firebeat, that's what my son

is going as tonight. Would have been much better if he wanted to be an Ant AUNT and he could have been like, really like like a Misses Doubtfire costume or something like that. Or like, you know, tooling around with a glass of wine, you know? And book like be part of my book club. Yeah, yeah, something from the Oprah Book Club, you know? Oh no, we lost James. Again. This is the second time we've recorded this. We're making the same Ant joke multiple times and we keep losing James.

Oh my gosh. My gosh, my gosh. Nope, we're going to keep going. I'm bringing you back, man. What's up? Dude, sorry man, it's all right. We're not going to restart it. We're still I'm just going to cut it. I will do AI will do an edit. So Ant story. We we got the Ant thing. We did it twice. We're not doing it a third time. It's a good joke. All right, let's let's go on. I got to help my other, my oldest son become a he's like an axe murderer. That's as you get older, you get

into the crazier stuff. So let's we're going to do as quickly we have our picks for the week and then we're going to get into our Hoosier hot streak. So let's start. We are going to go out to West Lafayette and Northwestern can't do both sounds at once. Northwestern is going to Purdue and Purdue is a one point favorite at home. This is Purdue's chance to get a win this year, right? Yes, it is. This is it. Will they be able to do it? I'm not sold.

These teams are pretty even, I think, But I think Northwestern's slightly better. So give me the Cats to win. OK. Just straight on the money line. Yeah. All right. We're next. We have, we have a bunch of teams about songs this this week. We got to keep thinking of it. We need to get something for Penn State, but we'll use this for now. We have Ohio State going into Happy Valley, probably the game of the week, Ohio State at Penn State. Penn State is a 3 1/2 point underdog at home.

Boy, is this ever the game of the week. And this has huge implications for the Hoosiers. We have a rooting interest here. We want Ohio State to win because at this point, we have to beat Ohio State. So we want Ohio State to win this game. But I think 3 1/2 points Penn State at home is a little rich for my blood. So I'm going to take 3 1/2 points if I'm taking the spread here. Next up we have Minnesota going in to Champaign, IL Minnesota at Illinois. Illinois is a three-point.

They have 3 point underdog at. Home. They are a three-point underdog at home. Why? Hold on, They're ranked Minnesota. What's? What's going on? I have no idea what's going on with this, and I did a little research in the last three meetings between Illinois and Minnesota. Minnesota has been favored in each one of them, and Illinois has won outright in each of those 3. So I have no idea what's going on here, but I'm going to take the Eli and I, and I'm going to get three points.

Damn straight, I'm doing it. I might take him on the money line. Sprinkle a little on there, too. Yeah. I don't that's, that's weird. All right, Next up we have Oregon going to Michigan. Michigan. This one makes more sense. Is a 14 1/2 point underdog at home. Yeah, I think Oregon's going to cover this. They're beating the pants off of everybody. And like 14 1/2 is almost a disrespectful line for Oregon at this point. I don't think Michigan's that great. So give me the Ducks Went went.

I like that. We might need to add that next time. I'll I'll try and pull that later. Next up we have UCLA going to Nebraska. Nebraska is a 6 1/2 point favorite at home. I like the Huskers here a lot. I think their defense is going to be able to stifle UCLA and I think they're going to win by a touchdown at least over and around. This is 39 1/2, so an incredibly low over under and I I think Nebraska definitely wins this game. USC who has the highest paid

coach in the Big 10? By the way, just read an athletic article about that. USC going into Washington. Washington 2 1/2 point underdog at home. Yeah, I have no idea what to do with this game. USC is an enigma. I like. I cannot get a read on that team. Just saw Washington and I kind of like what I saw. 2 1/2 points. They're at home. They're both four and four. I'd stay away, but I'll take the home team plus the points. OK. And last one non IU game, we have Wisconsin at Iowa.

Iowa is a three-point favorite at home. We've got an over under of this a 40 1/2. Let me take throw a couple stats at you here. OK, Iowa is over under them the year 7 and one really seven of their eight games have gone over the total and and. The last year. And that's and includes three in a row. So I'm going to take the over here 40 1/2. That's a little too low. I think this is a different Iowa team. They do score a bit more. So I I like the overhelm this.

And finally, we have Indiana going in. Oh my gosh, wrong button. Indiana going into Michigan State, probably the biggest Rd. game, the biggest true Rd. game we've had thus far this season for Indiana going to Michigan State. Michigan State is A8 point underdog at home. I was thinking about this, James. I don't. I think Indiana has covered their line every game this this year so far, correct? It depends when you took the Fort International line, But other than that, yeah.

So there was a there was a way you could have not covered the Ford International game if you took it right before kick off. But if you took it earlier in the week, that week you would have. So it just kind of depends when you took that one. But other than that, they've cleared it with ease. This is, I think this line was made with the idea that Tavan Jackson would start again. And while he was decent last week, he was no Curtis Rourke it sounds like. Rourke's going to start, or at

least. Going to sounds like it sounds like Rourke is trending to play and Chris Igneti, unlike, you know, other football organizations in this state, understands that, you know, QB one, when he's ready to go, he goes, you know, so that's what we do. And I think work's going to play and I think the Hoosiers are going to cover this with ease. I think you're fine putting a little extra. If you want to go to 9 1/2, get a little extra odds, that's fine.

I actually took it when it first came out at 7:00. So I'm I'm I'm feeling pretty good about that. I used to win this game handily. And and I know, I, I know that I've watched a lot of IU football and I should be much more tentative saying things like this, but this is the game they should win handily. They should win this by two touchdowns like they've won every other damn Big 10 game by two touchdowns or more. There's no reason that shouldn't

happen here. East Lansing is, I mean, it's a big stadium and they do get loud, but how up are they really going to be for this? You know, I mean, I don't know, they they just had that Michigan game. This is an afternoon game. I don't know what the atmosphere is going to be like, but I'm hoping it's good because it'll help prepare IU for Ohio Stadium here in a few weeks. Which I think they have a shot at, but we'll see. We'll see how it's all going to come down to how Rourke looks

and. We'll I do have a couple thoughts on the IU in game experience because I was able to make the Washington game. Yeah, blast. OK, I want I want to get this out there and I want people to spread it when they're playing the ACDC at the beginning of the game instead of when when you know, the Thunder, we should go Hoosiers and it like if everybody that used and I think that'd be pretty sweet. I tried to start it in my section. Nobody was game.

I did have a Karen behind me who asked me to sit down at one point and then she asked like all the rows in front of her to sit down. And so yeah, her husband left and moved like 2 rows down because of that. He was, I would have been like, you're on your own woman's. So I like. I like the Hoosiers Thunder setup. That's a good idea. Yeah. So that's just, that's something I wanted to throw out there, try to get the crowd on board. All right, it is time for YEAH. It's pretty.

Simple, I win. Google me. Do it again. It's pretty simple. I win. Google me had the sound down. Who's your hot streak time We won last week getting money again. So we're back up. We're doing a three-part parlay. I'm going to go with the one that you texted me first. So give us your who's your hot streak? Make sure it's right in the text

that I have going down there. All right, so I had last night, I, I'd had a few drinks and I'd taken the Dodgers and I was feeling salty about things and I was like, you know what, I'm going to go ahead and make my Hoosier hot streak bet here. And so I took IU -3 Nebraska on the money line and Illinois plus 10 1/2. And if you combine all those together, you get plus 155. And then I remember today I'm like, oh, Scott wanted this to be a money line thing.

Doesn't. It have to be I I like none of you. You can make it, but I have. I have a money line alternate for the people if you want to get down on the three. I'll probably take this one too. But if you combine IU Oregon and Nebraska you'll get plus one O 9 odds. I think those are pretty 3 pretty safe money lines to take in your parlay. So I think either one of those is going to hit for you. Help take them both. I think I'm going to.

I, I will, and I like the Let's Go for a double Hoosier hot streak win. It really is. IU is going to win this game. I'm just going to say that they're going to win this game and I I don't see a scenario aside from some sort of crazy turnover fest where they don't. So yeah, unless Rourke just comes out and he's really,

really hurt. But I think Cinetti would be quick to pull the plug on him if that's the case, you know, if he, if he can't grip the ball, if he can't throw the ball And who knows what the weather is going to be like. It's, you know, I I'm about an hour and a half South of East Lansing where I'm at, and it's going to be, you know, 50s and possibly rainy. Yeah, that's just good football weather. I agree. For a Canadian, good Lord that's damn near summer.

And then you're going to beat and then you're going to be there for Michigan, right? Hopefully I'm I'm hoping Michigan can be a night game. Yes, I will be down there for the Michigan game. All right, well, we're going to cut this short because it is Halloween and I need to go get costumes ready and the trick or treating starting starts early 5:00, so got to go do. That 530 up here so. It's candy ready. Unlike you, you're not handing out candy. So you got.

Nothing candy. The wife went and bought Cheetos, so I've got the Cheeto variety pack. So older kids or kids who put no effort in their costume. Wrap a bag like open bag. I know like. Individual like, you know, like the bags you pack in your lunch or something you know, so like the kids who get have shitty costumes or who are too old, they get like the limone flaming hots and like the cute kids will get like the puffs and regular Cheetos. That's kind of how I'm going to

do this. I. Love you like picking out which ones get which that is. Every year and every year, whatever. Whatever doesn't get eaten. Bring, bring, bring next week to Memorial Stadium, please. Absolutely. All right, man, James, as always, good times. Thank everybody for I thank everybody for listening and for Crimson Cash. This is Scott signing off. Post code. End that recording and then we will end this recording. Goodbye everybody.
