In Bristol, 1957 in the middle of a heatwave and a young brother and sister leave home to visit a nearby field to look at the horses and ponies. When they don’t return home their parents are worried and immediately call police. The children are missing and it seems they have disappeared without a trace. Their disappearance sparked one of the biggest searches ever in England. Thousands of people came and offered help.
