Episode description

Born in La Tuna, Mexico, El Chapo founded the Sinaloa cartel in 1989, over time building it into what was said to be the largest drug-trafficking network in the world. Known for his violence and inimitable influence, Guzmán successfully orchestrated numerous outlandish escapes over his fascinating criminal career. The drug lord was convicted of a slew of charges and sentenced to life in prison in New York City 2019.
