On June 18, 2025, a Massachusetts jury found Karen Read NOT GUILTY of second-degree murder, manslaughter, and leaving the scene in the death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe. However, she did receive one year of probation after being convicted of OUI.
