Richard Chase: The Vampire of Sacramento

Holy crap guys! This is a wild one.  Richard Chase was a man who suffered greatly from mental illness, a paranoid schizophrenic with an obsession with blood.  At his best, he was a hypochondriac that thought he was part of an outlaw gang with Jesse James.  At his worst, he was a sadistic monster who did unthinkable things in order to satiate his need for blood.  This case has influenced the way that law enforcement views disorganized killers.
