66: Serial Killer Summer: The Golden State Killer: Joseph DeAngelo Jr, Part One

Join us as we dive into one of America's most notorious serial killers, Joseph DeAngelo Jr. 

This man is also known as The Golden State Killer. De Angelo began committing his crimes in 1974 and didn't stop until 1986. Before he was a killer, DeAngelo was known as the East Area Rapist. And before he was the EAR, he was known as the Visalia Ransacker. Over 12 years, he killed 13 people, raped 51 women, and burgled approximately 120 homes. Somehow, DeAngelo managed to evade capture for decades. In 2017, law enforcement received the lead of a lifetime. Finally, justice was served for the many people affected by this man's actions.
