Episode description

Hello and welcome to Crime & Spirits, where your hosts, Bree & Suze (that's us), teach you all about true crime, spooky stories, and how to make one hell of a good cocktail.

Join us this week while we dive into one of Australia's most infamous women: Katherine Knight. In the early 2000s, she brutally took the life of John Price, the man she was seeing at the time. The murder was vicious and brutal. The crime scene looked like something from a horror movie. Katherine's a violent and vindictive woman who derived joy from hurting those she loved, most specifically, her romantic partners. To say this crime shocked the small town of Aberdeen is an understatement.

This week Suze wanted to make the most popular cocktail in Australia. Google led her to the "Japanese Slipper," a sweet watermelon-flavored cocktail that will help take the edge off while we tell you about this crazy lady.

So grab a drink and find out why the media called Katherine Knight the "Cannibal Cook."

Not a drinker? That's okay! Make yourself some coffee or grab a bottle of water. It doesn't matter what you're sipping along with. We're just happy to have you here!
