32: The Caylee Anthony Story Part One: The Disappearance and Tragic Death of Caylee Anthony

Hello and welcome to Crime & Spirits Podcast where your hosts, Bree and Suze, teach you all about some true crime, spooky stories, and how to make one heck of a good cocktail.  This week will be part one of a two-part series detailing the disappearance and tragic death of Caylee Anthony.  On July 15, 2008, two-year-old Caylee Anthony is reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy. During a 911 call, we learn that Caylee had missing for 31 days by that point. When questioned, Caylee's mother, Casey, told law enforcement that the nanny took her daughter and that she tried to "handle" it herself. It didn't take detectives very long to figure out that Casey was lying and she was arrested quickly. What follows after this moment shocked the US as Casey swiftly became one of the most hated moms in the country.  In part one Bree and Suze will go over the details of the disappearance itself, some background information on the Anthony family, as well as the investigation and discovery of Caylee's unfortunate death.
