Encountering the Parking Spaces & Exit Ramps Along Our Path

Will Rogers is quoted to say "The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking spaces." I will go a step further and say that there are many exit ramps as well on that road. But whether it's a parking space or exit ramp there's no question that choosing them will not lead to a successful ending. Parking spaces will keep us stuck in one place, while exit ramps will lead us completely away from our goal. This seems like a no brainer but when we are on whatever path we find ourselves on and we begin to face constant challenges, trials, and hardships; the parking spots and exit ramps begin to look like a lot better option. Mental and physical exhaustion causes us to start wanting anything that will give us a break from the constant clawing and fighting our way on this path.
