Episode description

Today, Fei and Nick sit down with Dr. Tamandra Morgan and Dr. Rachel Bervell, the founders of The Black Ob/Gyn Project to talk about systemic racism in medicine and Ob/Gyn.

Dr. Rachel Bervell did her intern year in ObGyn at University of California Irvine, and is continuing her training in family medicine with a focus on obstetrics and public health at Boston Medicine Center.  Dr. Tamandra Morgan is a current second-year ObGyn resident at the University of California San Francisco training program.  Together, they run the Instagram page @TheBlackObGynProject, a space dedicated to educating and promoting anti-racism, equity, and inclusion within ObGyn, women's health, and reproductive health care.
