This podcast is drawn from a reflection on John the Baptist that I gave at an Advent communion service for the elderly and homebound using the Gospel for the Second Sunday of Advent. The talk focuses first on what is special about John and then on his message, which is as applicable to us as we prepare for Christ's coming today as it was for the people John spoke to before the birth of Christ.
