Poveglia, the Ghost Island

Happy Freaky Friday! On this mini episode I speak about the island off the coast of Venice, Italy known as Poveglia. The island is also known as Ghost Island for its haunting past. It was used for centuries as a plague quarantine island and many lives were lost. It was then used as an asylum for mentally ill patients who claimed to hear voices and to see many spirits. The island sits abandoned and off limits today.
