Episode description

Micah Tuttle :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, May 1, 2022 Creekside’s centenarian Gene Arns, a few days before his 103rd birthday, began the service sharing what God’s accomplished in his life. Inspired by Gene’s testimony of a life well-lived, missionary Micah Tuttle abandons his planned sermon from Revelation 22 for a more relevant message from Mark 14, asking “Where are the men?” Micah preaches an urgent warning from the account of Peter’s gradual, step-wise drift away from the Lord due to pride, a neglect of prayer and scripture, following Jesus at a distance, and taking comfort in the world. Though we may fall like Peter, God doesn’t leave the penitent believer there. Peter broke down and wept, and was restored to a man with courage and faith. Worship music permitted under CCLI License #264436.
