Episode description

Nick Reed :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, September 18, 2016 This bittersweet service began with a presentation in word and music from Karen Baptist Church, the Burmese congregation that has been meeting at Creekside Sunday afternoons for many years, and have now been blessed with a building of their own. Nick Reed's message following that is on the prayer, which should be God-centered, specific, and bold, desiring to align our heart with God's heart instead of the other way around. We are not the boss, but the one who is hears us when we pray according to His will. James 5:16 tells us "the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective," and Nick reminds us too that for that righteousness, we continually rely on the work of Jesus Christ to run the race.
