Episode description

Mark Kline :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, November 12, 2017 How do we know we are Christians? True Christians are called to holiness, but can we have confidence in our salvation from the wages of sin while living in a fallen world where sin is still a reality? Mark Kline presents this series’ second test of authentic faith from 1 John 2:1-6, explaining how a believer’s lifestyle of obedience can give us assurance in our standing before a holy God. Our obedience won’t be perfectly righteous, but because of the perfect, atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ the righteous—who is our advocate with the Father—we can have this confidence. Mark’s message follows Alan Crim’s announcement about Operation Christmas Child and an upcoming missionary presentation and potluck.
