Episode description

Steve Smith :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, January 17, 2020 Jesus was a king who declared and demonstrated His authority and identity, but that action brought skepticism and eventually hostility. Pastor Steve resumes our preaching series in Matthew covering two controversies over Sabbath law pitting Pharisees against Jesus in Matthew 12:1-14. Jesus used these controversies to clarify a condemnation of legalism, a commendation of sincere love for God and neighbor, and a confirmation of His own sovereignty as “Lord of the Sabbath.” Worship music permitted under CCLI License #264436.
